As she stepped out of the shower room, Remillia tried to maintain a composed expression, but her eyes still blazed with embarrassnt. Kairos was already dressed in his clothes, looking as cold and collected as ever.
"Since I’m done helping you, I should get going now."
She was about to leave when he spoke next to her, "Wait, I just want to say thank you... despite putting us in an awkward position awhile ago."
Remillia’s face blushed again as she tried to explain to him, "I already said I’m sorry and for the record I ’accidentally ’slipped so it wasn’t my fault!"
Kairos tried not to laugh at her sudden outburst, "What’s your na?"
She froze for a mont before opening the door, "There’s no need for you to know my na besides this will be our last ti seeing each other."
"Bye, squirrel."
This ti, she quickly looked at him, "I-I don’t know what you’re talking about."
"You know what I’m talking about, squirrel."
When he took a step forward, I imdiately opened the door and sprinted away from that place, afraid that he would catch .
Kairos was smiling while looking at the retreating figure of Remillia.
’Why does she also run like a squirrel?’
If his right hand man was here, he must be hyperventilating right now seeing that I’m still smiling.
He grabbed his phone and called a number as he walked away from the academy.

He added Remillia Lockhart on the list. They need four more candidates. I might as well go back to the Academy again.

Remillia was clenching her chest as she tried to calm down. She was currently hiding in the back room of the arena.

She looked at where the voice ca from.

"Of course! I didn’t have the ti watching you and the others because of the continuous match I had yesterday."
"By the way, why are you here?"
"Uhm-uhh... To cheer for you?"
Remillia’s tone sounded unsure but Cypher didn’t notice it as he grabbed her hand, "Co on, let treat you."
"W-wait!" She was still tired from all that running.
"Yoo-hoo~ Forgetting soone?"
Cypher looked back behind them and imdiately regretted it. He pretended not to see them as he gently tugged Remillia.
"There are a bunch of mosquitoes here, let’s go now before they have the chance to bite us."
"Huh? But it seems to that I just heard Angela’s voice?"
Just then, Angela ca running up to us as she grabbed my shoulder, "Cypher! Did you just pretend to see us or not?"
He innocently smiled at her, "What are you saying? How can I recognize you when you’re far away from us?"
Angela rolled her eyes at him before looking at excitedly, "Have you watched my match?"
I chuckled nervously before shaking my head. "No? I only got to watch Cypher’s match and then I went sowhere due to urgent matters."
Hearing what she said, Cypher’s smile reached to his ears while Angela’s smile is the opposite. Whitney and the others soon catch up to us.
Rex was the first one to talk since he was shocked to see that my wounds are already fading. He grabbed my left arm and examined it.
"Hey witch what kind of ointnt are you using? It’s really effective."
"It’s from an anonymous sponsor."
"Mind sharing with then?"
"No."
"Pretty please?"
"Stop fluttering your eyelids, my fist suddenly want to punch your face."
"Oh co on, witch! Do you know the part where you stabbed still hurts?"
Rex was still holding her arm when he felt a malicious intent aid at him, he looked behind Remillia and was spooked to see Cypher wanting to kill him.
"Nevermind, I’ll just buy another ointnt." He quickly released Remillia’s arm as he backed away from her.
"Why are you there?"
"Who ? I felt that there’s a killer mosquito that want to suck my blood out so I quickly ran over here."
"Is that so? Then I should also go there then."
Rex felt that his death was nearing as Cypher glared at him again.
"Y-you stay there! The mosquito must have followed here!"
Remillia sensed that Rex was being weird so she turned around and faced Cypher, "did you sense any mosquitoes?"
"I already shooed the mosquito away, it must have followed Rex."
"I see."
"Hey, what’s with the long face?"
Edge quickly went to Angela’s side as he worriedly look at her.
"It’s nothing."
Before they get lovey dovey, Whitney squeezed herself in between them as she lightly pushed Angela by the side, "By the way, where are the two of you going?"
"I’m taking her out for a treat, why?"
"Great timing. We will join you then since we don’t have any scheduled fights later."
Cypher nodded while smiling although he was already clenching his teeth.
’I should have looked for Remi earlier. Maybe at this ti, we wouldn’t have been interrupted by these mosquitoes.’
"Where should we go?"
"Do you know any shopping malls here?"
"Oh, I know one! I want to shop for new clothes."
The girls were busy chatting with each other while the four n followed them from behind.

Remillia tiredly flopped down on the bed. Today’s events were too much for her but when I looked at the paper bags beside her and I only smiled while rembering what happened a while ago.
When we were at the shopping mall, Angela and Whitney bought clothes but I declined since I still have dozens of it. However when they accompanied at my dorm room, they literally forced the paper bags on and pushing inside my room. When I tried to open the door, they threatened that they would vote to fight early tomorrow morning if I return what they gave to . Of course I don’t want that so in the end, I gave up and said thank you to them.
Macaron flew to her and landed on her stomach.
"A little bit tiring but yeah, it’s nice to hang out once in a while."
"Don’t say that, I’m also happy when you’re here by my side."
I stroke his body softly.
"Just know that you’re the first one who brightens up my day ever since I ca to this world."

Remillia abruptly woke up and imdiately grabbed her dagger. She looked if there are any signs of danger but only to find Macaron screeching and flapping his wings at her.
"Macaron! What’s that sound for?!"
Remillia massaged her head, still aching from waking up so suddenly, "Can’t you just wake up using your normal routine?"
Macaron then flew to her calendar,
"Oh, shoot. I must hurry up then."

We were all gathered up in a forest, the Academy also owns this territory and this is where the monster subjugation exam is held. Ordinary people are prohibited to watch since monsters will be running rampant once the exam starts.
Sir Jude warned them again and again while waiting for the Elite mages to co who will be in charge of protecting the place and students.
"Like I said for the tenth ti, don’t take this exam lightly. You’ll be fighting monsters that are of different ranks and classes. Refusing to give up although you can’t fight anymore ans death. It’s okay to surrender, don’t let your pride stop you."
A portal suddenly appeared revealing the mages, Sir Jude seed to rember sothing, "One more thing, you must surrender imdiately when you think your opponent is more stronger than you. If you surrender only when you’re deeply wounded can also get you killed since we can’t help you out imdiately. To surrender, simply crush the ring that the mages will soon give you."
