I sat with the children eating snacks by the campfire in front of the tent.
The children seed to enjoy the joke about eating so much they were actually "eating" .
Not by biting, but by licking as usual.
"Ahhhhh."
As I let out an exaggerated scream while eating the snacks Han Yeoreum made, Jung Yu-na approached us, her footsteps rustling through the park grass.
"Children."
The children stopped licking at the arrival of this welco person.
They each greeted Jung Yu-na in their own unique ways.
I waved to Jung Yu-na too.
"Hello."
"Hi Gyeoul. Having snacks here?"
"Yes. Want to share- nom nom."
Jung Yu-na put a snack in my mouth.
While patting my head at the sa ti.
My tail started wagging rapidly at the combination of tasty food and pleasant touch.
"Is it good?"
"Yeaf."
"Huhu."
Smiling Jung Yu-na sat down near us.
Then she took out a familiar-looking item from inside her clothes.
"That's..."
"Can you tell what it is?"
"Yes."
It was definitely the item we used during zombie survival.
We'd used it to create illusions of zombies and spaces.
Why had Jung Yu-na suddenly brought this?
Puzzled, I just stared up at Jung Yu-na.
"This is leftover from before. I made a new ga with it."
"A new ga?"
The children's ears perked up at the word "ga."
Levinas, who loved gas, showed the biggest reaction.
"Ga! What kind of ga?!"
"It's a mix of tag and hide-and-seek."
"Ah! Those are both gas Levinas really really loves...!"
Levinas's eyes sparkled.
Jung Yu-na gave Levinas quite a serious look.
"But this isn't an ordinary ga?"
"R-really...?"
"Yes. The seeker becos a giant."
Jung Yu-na explained the ga rules to us.
It was a very simple ga of escaping from a giant seeker.
"Won't a giant be really scary?!"
"Hmm... maybe? Usually yes, but since we're family it shouldn't be too scary?"
"...!"
Not too scary.
Levinas turned to look at at those words.
Her eyes asked if I wanted to play together.
"Um... but who's going to be the seeker?"
"It's random, want to try once?"
"Yes. Sounds good."
When I nodded, Jung Yu-na called us over.
The only precaution was not to break the illusion and that there was absolutely no risk of getting hurt.
"Okay, shall we start?"
"Yes."
As Jung Yu-na's mana flowed into the item, the space began to change.
**
Boom-
The distant space collapsed and filled with fog.
The nearby campfire and tent disappeared, replaced by buildings made of logs.
"Wow."
"Wow!"
"Oh..."
Our ears perked up at the instantly transford space.
Even Saebyeok, who rarely showed emotion, opened her eyes slightly wider as she looked around.
'This is...'
The transford space looked like a rural village in a fantasy world.
Surrounded by cloud-like fog on all sides, it felt like a floating magical island.
'Everything looks so real.'
The wind on our skin, the rustling vegetation.
Even the blue light pillar visible in the distance.
Everything looked real.
Jung Yu-na must be incredibly skilled at magic.
As I looked around in amazent, I noticed Gaeul was nowhere to be seen.
"Gaeul?"
Just as I was looking around for Gaeul.
A massive shadow fell over us from above.
"Huh?"
When we turned around with the children, we discovered an unimaginably huge Gaeul.
"Maaasterrr."
"Oh."
An enormously enlarged Gaeul stood outside the collapsed area.
Only her upper body was visible from the collapsed space, but she was bigger than our guild building.
Though we'd been told she'd beco a giant, I hadn't expected her to grow this massive.
As I gaped up at Gaeul, she started reaching her hand toward us.
One segnt of Gaeul's finger was bigger than , Levinas, and Saebyeok combined.
"Heuk! Giant Gaeul puppy!"
"Nyaaaah!"
We ran toward the nearby cabin.
When we reached the cabin, it shook like an earthquake with a boom.
Gaeul's finger had touched the cabin.
"King, the sky...!"
"Ah."
Part of the wooden cabin broke, revealing blue sky.
As we stared at the sky in shock, another huge shadow fell over the broken space.
It was Gaeul's giant eyeball.
"Maaasterrr."
Perhaps because of her increased size, Gaeul's voice echoed slowly and deeply.
Gaeul blinked at us, then brought her mouth to the broken space.
Lick-
Gaeul's tongue swept across the cabin.
Even just that made the cabin start shaking.
"This is going to collapse."
Expressionless Saebyeok pointed at Gaeul's tongue while speaking.
Indeed, pieces of the cabin were breaking off each ti Gaeul's tongue touched it.
"Should we get out?"
"Yeah."
I ran out the back door with the children.
As we looked back while running, the cabin collapsed.
Rumble-!
Startled by the loud noise of the collapsing cabin, Gaeul straightened up.
She looked down at the cabin with wide eyes, appearing quite frightened.
Did she think we'd been hurt?
I quickly waved to Gaeul.
"Gaeul, we're over here."
When Gaeul spotted us, her round eyes curved into crescents.
She smiled brightly and wagged her tail, but the wind from her wagging tail was so strong it pushed us back.
"Nyaaah!"
Splash-
Though I fell backward, it didn't hurt.
As I reflexively rubbed my bottom and got up, I heard a thud right in front.
"Masterrr."
Gaeul's smiling face appeared right in front of us.
She had rested her chin on the collapsed cabin and was looking down at us.
But she just looked without trying to catch us.
"Gaeul, you're supposed to catch us."
Shake shake shake-
Gaeul shook her head.
Her eyebrows were drawn up in worry.
"Owie! Owie!"
"Owie... afraid you'll hurt us?"
"Yeaaah."
Was she afraid of hurting us since we were so relatively small?
Maybe she'd realized sothing after seeing the cabin collapse.
"Hmm..."
Even though it was a ga, it probably wasn't easy being a giant trying to catch family mbers.
She probably didn't want to frighten her family.
This ga wasn't right for us.
We decided to end it here.
"Then should we wait while I make you small again?"
"Yeaaah."
And so the ga that started as tag ended up being a walk through a fantasy village.
We wandered around with giant Gaeul until we reached the light pillar we'd first seen, which ended the ga.
Rumble-
As the space collapsed, our park reappeared.
We were standing in the park slightly away from the tent.
"How was the ga?"
Jung Yu-na asked as she approached us.
I scratched my cheek at her question.
"Well, we couldn't really enjoy it properly. We felt guilty about potentially hurting family."
"R-really? Since you usually enjoy playing tag, I thought a different version would be fun."
"With tag, we can hug when caught."
I reached out and hugged Jung Yu-na tightly.
My tail wagged just from holding her legs.
"Ah... so it wasn't about the tag, but the hugging? Then being big would be a problem."
"Yes. Exactly."
"Hmm... what should I do with this? It's a waste since it's leftover."
Jung Yu-na took out the item from her pocket.
It was the illusion item that had made Gaeul grow.
"Can't it be used differently?"
"No. It's already set to work this way. It's really expensive too, what a sha."
Tch.
Jung Yu-na clicked her tongue in regret.
Levinas tugged at her sleeve.
"Then can Levinas make it into a different ga?"
"You? As long as it's not too complicated... what kind of ga would you make?"
Jung Yu-na's expression showed anticipation.
I listened eagerly too, curious what ga Levinas would create.
"Levinas wants to make an empty bottle collecting ga! A ga where you find empty bottles hidden everywhere!"
Levinas's eyes sparkled brightly.
Turning her work into a ga.
She must really love collecting bottles that much.
I clapped for Levinas.
"That's amazing. If you practice collecting bottles in the ga, you'll get better at it in real life too."
"Yeah! Levinas will beco a genius at collecting bottles! This ga is for practicing that!"
Clap clap clap-
As I clapped for Levinas, I spoke up with a new thought.
"How about collecting pots and furniture too?"
"Pots?!"
"Yeah. I really enjoy finding useful pots and furniture. But since those are hard to collect, I'd like to collect lots of them at least in the ga."
"Ah! Then it's a ga about collecting empty bottles and pots and furniture!"
I helped Levinas develop the ga concept.
Then when I looked up at Jung Yu-na, for so reason she avoided our gaze.
