Back at ho, I harvested the vegetables. As I held a cabbage larger than my head, Seol grabbed the hem of my clothes.

The kids were filling an old bathtub with pond water. They were diligently scooping and pouring water from the pond.

She must have learned this from watching adults.
It felt strange, as this was usually sothing adults did to children, but it was better than learning bad things. I just smiled at her.
"So, why are you making a fountain?"
"It will grant wishes!"
Levinas answered while pouring water into the tub. Were they trying to share the joy of the park's fountain with everyone?
I decided to help them with their hard work.
"I'll help you."
"Okay!"
I fetched a bucket from the tent and started scooping water. Nearby, Seol chased a butterfly.
"Seol, don't go too far."
"ow!"
Seol nodded in understanding.
I wasn't surprised since I knew the cat was smart.
Making sure the kids didn't get hurt and Seol didn't wander off, I continued to carry water from the pond.
With the three of us working together, we filled the tub quickly.
"It's done!"
Levinas cheered and raised her arms in triumph. Saebyeok clumsily followed suit. They were so happy just to fill an old tub with water. It was worth the effort.
"Now people's wishes will co true?"
"Yeah! But they have to throw coins in! One coin per wish!"
Levinas giggled with her hand over her mouth. I realized this was her business idea.
"You did this to make money?"
"Yes! They said the owner of the fountain gets the coins!"
Where did she learn that?
I scratched my cheek and looked at the makeshift fountain.
I was proud of Levinas for coming up with a way to make money.
It was aningful to grant wishes and receive coins in return.
However, I doubted people would throw coins into an old tub. Levinas might be disappointed if no one did.
"Levinas, maybe we should decorate the fountain more?"
"More?!"
"Yeah. The fountain we made wishes at had an angel spouting water. A real fountain should spray water to look nice."
A fountain that doesn't spray water isn't really a fountain. Realizing this, Levinas's eyes widened.
"But Levinas doesn't have anything to spray water?!"
"Yeah... what should we do..."
I was wondering how to attract people's attention when Levinas stepped into the tub.
"Levinas will spit out the water!"

"Yeah!"
Levinas filled her mouth with water from the tub.
"Fwoosh!"
She spat out the water like a water gun.

A living fountain?
That would be difficult to maintain.
Just as I was about to stop her, sothing amazing happened. Vegetables started growing where she spat out the water. Carrots, eggplants, and other varieties sprouted up.
"Levinas, do it over there too."
"Fwoosh."
She filled her mouth and spat, again and again. Levinas repeated this for a long ti, turning the area around the tub into a vegetable garden.
"Wow..."
Levinas's plant-growing ability was always impressive.
I clapped in admiration, and she sank beneath the water. Bubbles rose to the surface of the tub.

I quickly pulled her out. Levinas slumped in my arms.
"King, I'm tired..."
"Sorry, I was so amazed..."
I patted her back. Saebyeok, for no reason, crawled into my arms too, so I patted her as well. She purred like a cat.
"Now it's your turn, King...!"

Normally, I wouldn't have done it, but I felt guilty for overworking Levinas. I hesitantly got into the tub.

"Kids, what are you doing here?"
"A fountain!"
Levinas answered for , puffing out her chest.
"A fountain?"
"Yeah! Make a wish!"
"Oh, so you're wishing on Gyeoul? Like an angel statue?"
Jung Yu-na chuckled and pulled a coin from her pocket.
It was a five-hundred won coin. Why did she have to co at the exact mont I was in the tub? My ears and tail drooped.
