At Kaori-san’s request, we moved to the capital of the Archlesia Empire. The teleportation point I have registered is a plaza a short distance from the imperial castle. Walk straight down the main avenue from here and you’ll reach the castle; head off in another direction and you’ll quickly arrive at the upscale shopping district where the pet-related shops I frequent are located. It’s a place with excellent access all around.

I can’t deny it very strongly, everything involving Marie-san lately has unquestionably been my fault. I did apologize to her and gave her so clothes as a present, which made her happy, so that eased my mind a little, but there’s no doubt it’s still been rough in various ways. Compared to Friendship City, it’s a little cooler. If the Friendship City still retains a sumr climate, then the Archlesia Empire feels like it’s fully in autumn.

Well, Chris-san is sharp, so if I send a hummingbird asking about today’s schedule, she might figure things out imdiately…… Still, if I phrase it indirectly, she should grasp our intent and let us know if it’s inconvenient.

Since she happened to be free right now, I told her that I was with Kaori-san and asked if a brief greeting would be possible. Chris-san kindly replied with an OK, so we headed toward the imperial castle together.

[Unn. After briefly greeting the Emperor at the ti, Chris-san explained a lot of things and prepared a room for inside the castle. Though, I set out on a pilgrimage pretty soon after, so I only stayed there for about 10 days.]

As for the Emperor before Chris-san, from everything I’ve heard so far…… Chris-san called him "like a pathogen infecting the nation", Risti-san called him "a petty villain with a timid heart", and giddo-san outright called him "trash". It seems he's soone getting absolutely trashed by everyone.
