By the ti the fourth act of the hidden talent show rolled around, the atmosphere had really co together. Still, I never would’ve guessed that Dr. Vier and Funf-an would do a cody duo routine. And to top it off, Funf-san was the funny man of the act……
Also, this has nothing to do with their routine, but I have to say, seeing Tre-san standing off to the side of the stage with her arms crossed and this smug look that seed to say "Yes, I raised them myself" was honestly hilarious. I know her well enough to tell she probably had nothing to do with that duo, but she clearly wanted to play the "wise ntor watching from afar" role just for the vibe.
She didn’t even go up on stage, just lingered at the side…… Well, including the surprise factor, it was pretty entertaining. And now for the next garapon……
Oh, wow. So after Fate-san and Sieg-san, that makes three lovers in a row. Not that it ans anything special, but when people close to you keep getting picked, it does make you feel kind of happy.
A short while later, Illness-san arrived.

Though Illness-san is petite, she has a calm and mature air about her, so a subdued-colored dress suits her perfectly. How should I put it, she isn’t being outshone by the dress; she wears it with grace and confidence. It felt fresh, yet incredibly fitting.

Perfu as a gift feels kind of elegant and new to …… It makes my heart flutter just a little. I’ve never worn perfu before, but putting aside for everyday use, for parties or formal occasions, it might be nice to add a touch of fragrance. It could add a layer of refinent.
[Indeeeeed, I do love roses, but when it cos to perfuuuu, rose tends to have a strong sceeeeent, and people have differing preferences regarding thaaaat. And since Kaito-sama isn’t very used to wearing perfuuuuu, I thought sothing with a lighter scent would be more suitableeeee, so this ti I focused on a citrus fragraaaaance. I did use a hint of roses thouuuugh.]

[Yeeees. For the top note, I used citrus sceeeeents, the middle note is a floral-fruity bleeeend, and the base note is woodyyyyy. There’s a bit of roses used in the heart nooooote.]
[……I’m really not familiar with perfus at all, so I can’t say I fully understand, but you made this yourself, right, Illness-san? Then I know it’s going to be great, and I’m looking forward to using it…… though, since I’m a complete beginner, if possible, I’d love it if you could teach how to apply it when the ti cos……]

R- Right, I think I read about this in so manga once. Perfu has sothing like a top note that you sll right after applying it, a middle note that cos out after a bit of ti, and a base note that appears around an hour later, and the combination of those, and which one is emphasized, makes a big difference or sothing.
Well, I really don’t know anything about this stuff, so I’ll just ask Illness-san to teach how to use it properly when the ti cos.

Before I could finish my sentence, Illness-san suddenly stepped in close, taking advantage of a small lapse in my attention, and gave a light kiss, just enough to make a soft chuu sound, then quickly pulled away.
It completely caught off guard, but the soft sensation of her lips and the gentle waft of rose perfu left feeling like my mind was lting.
[IIIIIIIIII’m wearing rose-scented perfu myseeeeelf. What did you thiiiiiiink?]
[Eh? Ah, errr, it slled wonderful, and…… it makes my heart racing.]
[Kuhihi, theeeeen I’m glad to hear thaaaaaat. Once agaaaaain, happy birthday, Kaito-samaaaaaa.]
Saying that, Illness-san smiled happily. Compared to before, she seed more emotionally expressive than she had been before—like she was letting feelings of joy and happiness show more openly. And the fact that those feelings were being directed toward , it made feel deeply honored…… and truly happy.
