After Pandora-san, I received a few more gifts. In the anti, I watched so live performances, grabbed a few light snack...... when I noticed so movent over at the comntary table. It looked like we were transitioning to the next act
"Alright, things are moving along nicely, so how about we shift into the second half of the birthday party?"
"Personally, I was hoping we'd start loosening up now. Once I hand over my gift to Kai-chan, I just want to laze around..... but since my turn hasn't co up yet, I guess I've got no choice but to keep comntating.....
"As long as you're thinking of slacking off once you hand over your gift, I doubt you'll get picked anyti soon....
At first, Fate-san had been giving serious comntary and explanations, perhaps because Shiro-san and others were present, but now, with everyone more or less freely enjoying the party however they liked, comntary didn't seem all that essential anymore. That seed to be all the excuse Fate-san needed to start slacking off.
Shiro-san didn't seem all that interested in the live performances either; she looked like she'd been deep in conversation the whole ti with Electrone-san and Makina-san..... Wait, hold on, is she trying to get knowledge about other worlds from Electrone-san?
"Well then...... everyone, the party venue is now shifting to its second form. It's not supposed to shake much, but there might be a little bit of movent, so please be careful."
...The venue shifting forms, a power phrase I doubt I've heard before, and I'm sure I won't be hearing again anyti soon. Honestly, I had no idea what was about to happen, but judging by everyone else's calm reactions, I was apparently the only one caught off guard. Seems like they were inford beforehand.
Still, when you say "shifting forms", what does that actually an? The castle isn't going to transform into a giant robot or sothing, right....? No, wait, if it's Shiro-san or Makina-san, they probably could pull that off, but there's no reason to turn the venue into a robot for my birthday party.
As I was thinking that, beams of light traced themselves across the walls and ceiling. Then, suddenly, both the walls and ceiling vanished..... revealing a sky full of stars.
How should I even describe this? It felt as if the entire party venue had floated up into the sky. Or maybe I should say the indoor ballroom we were in had abruptly turned into an outdoor venue. And yet, strangely enough, everything was still clearly visible. It was brightly lit, yet I could still see the stars perfectly...... What's with this setup?
"Alright, we've now entered the second form. It's an outdoor-style party. I believe it feels completely like we're outside, even down to the atmosphere, but only the scenery has changed. Technically, we're still indoors, so the entrances and exits are still functional. You can head to the rest area just like before."
"I'd heard about this beforehand, but it's really sothing. Still, what's the reason for the outdoor the? I an, the starry sky is beautiful and all but......
"Ah, well.... the idle and irresponsible Gods with too much ti on their hands ended up creating a constellation for Kaito-san. So we made the scenery like this so everyone could see it. By the way, the unnaturally colorful part of the sky, that's Kaito-san's constellation."
"....You an that rainbow-colored one......?"
They've done sothing absolutely insane again!? At this point, I can't help but wonder if this whole world was created just to embarrass .
No, I'm sure Shiro-san and Makina-san were completely serious when they made it..... Ah, so those sparkling rainbow stars huh. If I traced lines between the stars, would it form sothing symbolic of ....? The idea of a constellation nad after is so absurdly out of this world, I honestly don't even know how I'm supposed to react.
"Well then, please enjoy the beautiful starry sky for a while as the party continues. After that, we'll move on to the third attraction."
"The third on.... I don't really know the details. Who ca up with it?"
"Ah, that's an interesting point. So far, the first event, the video ga tournant, was planned by Shallow Vernal-sama, and the second, the live performance, was by Kuro-san..... So you could say they were events representing the God Realm and the Demon Realm."
"I see..... So the next one must be sothing from the Human Realm?"
*.....Shall-tan? Why are you staring off into the distance like that? Hey, I just realized sothing kind of scary..... How many attractions are there in total?"
"There are four."
"....So that's God Realm, Demon Realm, Human Realm...... and the last one?"
".....Otherworld."
Uh-oh. The wind's starting to shift. Wait, was there a pattern to these events this whole ti......? Thinking back, the first one really was a ga tournant using the console Shiro-san gave last ti. And the second event being a live show planned by Kuro made total sense.
That part's fine. The issue is.... when you say "Otherworld", the candidates who fit that category would be Aoi-chan, Hina-chan, Seigi-kun, my parents, past Hero Actors....... and......
"The next event was planned by Makina."
..Is that safe?"
"I made it safe! I was practically glued to her the whole ti, smacked her, steering her back on track, smacking her again, then smacking her so more..... Eventually I managed to hamr it into sothing that shouldn't cause any problems."
"Shall-tan..... Thanks for the hard work.....
She smacked her a lot. No, seriously, I could feel Alice's suffering from that explanation. So that's why she had that drained look in her eyes earlier.... But hey, if she managed to keep things safe for and the rest of the guests, then I couldn't be more thankful.
Makina : [I was originally planning to put together a cinematic compilation of my beloved child's museum and screen it... but Alice flat-out rejected it. Even though I carefully curated the footage and trimd it down to a modest 87 years of runti...]
Serious-senpai: [Preventing a potential mass casualty event, Alice undoubtedly is a Hero..... Wait, 87 years!? Kaito's birthday would co around 87 more tis before we finished watching it!]
