ChapterC.1689: Founding Festival with Shallow Vernal ?
That was really close. I was moving with Shiro-san to the place where Olivia-san was, and fortunately, due to so kind of event, the road was empty and we were able to get there smoothly.
As soon as we got there, we saw Olivia-san being swept away by the flow of people, and we rushed to her rescue. It was really close. If she had been swallowed by that flow of people, it would have been very difficult to et up with her.

Olivia-san, who I rescued as quickly as possible and held to my chest, had stiffened with her eyes wide open, seriously not moving even a bit. She was so beautifully frozen, as if ti had stopped, that I got worried. When I called out to her, Olivia-san’s shoulders flinched in response imdiately.

Just when I thought her mind had restarted, her mind now seed to be bugged, as she started panicking. She was panicking so much that the word “frantic” had never fit her so perfectly up to this point.
At any rate, her speech was incoherent and she didn’t seem to have cald down at all, so I first tried to calm her down.

That seed to have worked, as Olivia-san regained so of her composure, but when her gaze moved and she saw the nearby Shiro-san, she stiffened again.

In response to Olivia-san’s trembling murmurs, Shiro-san spoke in her usual manner, but Olivia-san’s face didn’t just turn pale, her face directly beca white…… and smoothly letting go of my hand, she slamd her forehead to the ground and prostrated herself.

It seems that Olivia-san is concerned about being slow to notice Shiro-san due to her getting stiff from nervousness, but Olivia-san, who was speaking with a level of determination greater than ever before, was sohow just like her.
Well, Shiro-san herself just seed to be puzzled at her words, seemingly wondering how exactly was Olivia-san being disrespectful, so it doesn’t seem like she considers Olivia-san’s actions as disrespectful.

Anyhow, Olivia-san is too serious and her faith in Shiro-san isn’t half-hearted at all, so she’s very concerned that she has been rude to Shiro-san, and even now, she’s so apologetic while kneeling in a dogeza, trembling, making feel uncomfortable.
And so, when I asked Shiro-san if she could tell Olivia-san that she didn’t mind, Shiro-san nodded once before calling out to Olivia-san.

[About the earlier matter, I don’t particularly mind. “You and Kaito-san also have the freedom to date each other”. However, it’s my turn today, so if you want to have your festival date with Kaito-san, do it next ti.]

The Airhead God went and said sothing outrageous. And Olivia-san, stiffening like a cat cast out into space, left quite the impression in my mind.
