The next day.
Director William Parker pondered for a while and decided to reshoot yesterday’s scenes.
[Scene 207.]
[Start.]
From the very beginning, the words of her grandfather kept flashing through her mind. Durrell Landon noticed sothing was off with her expression and couldn’t help but worry: "Are you feeling unwell? If you are, let’s take a break."
Looking at his eyes, which clearly reflected her, she didn’t know why her eyes reddened, and tears uncontrollably stread down.
No matter how deep Durrell’s love for her was, at least during these three years, she had lived the most carefree life.
Suddenly, she recalled the ti Durrell, out of jealousy, tossed Yates Foote’s model to the boss, and she couldn’t help but chuckle.
"I’m fine."
William Parker captured this scene just in ti.
His understanding was that the Demon Princess Aurelia thought of her clansn and felt she betrayed them by falling in love with King Michael of the Gods, but at the sa ti, sensed that the King loved her too. She dared not be too happy or too reckless and could only carefully and timidly laugh.
William Parker never anticipated that after just one day, Quiana Sutton’s acting had remarkably improved, becoming so nuanced.
[Good.]
[Cut.]
"That was amazing."
William Parker had one feeling: this movie would surely be a hit.
Soon, half a month passed.
During this half month, life seed very calm, and the filming of the movie "Phoenix Road" entered its final stage, leaving only post-production.
With the filming wrapped, after nearly three months together, Director William Parker decided to thank everyone for their efforts by inviting the lead actors and all the staff for a al.
Of course, he might need to ask for their opinions.
The crew had no objections, except for the two lead actors who hadn’t made their stance known.
She wasn’t particularly fond of gatherings of this nature, but since the invitation ca from Director William Parker, she thought for a mont and didn’t refuse.
"I have no objections."
Seeing Quiana Sutton agreed, William Parker then approached Durrell Landon, cautiously asking, "Miss Sutton has agreed to attend the gathering. Will you be available, Mr. Landon?"
Durrell Landon glanced at Quiana Sutton, furrowing his brows, seeming to hesitate for a mont before eventually agreeing.
"Alright, but I’ll be arriving at the venue later."
William Parker bead with joy: "It’s fine that Mr. Landon agreed to co, no matter how late."
...
At the Royal Court Hotel.
The other female supporting cast and so female staff looked forward to today’s gathering, as they well knew it might be a while until they could see Mr. Landon again after leaving the crew.
anwhile, the male supporting cast and male staff’s gazes were fixed on Quiana Sutton; everyone was nudging each other, hesitating whether to approach her. They felt Quiana Sutton seed approachable, yet there was a coolness in her deanor. But this ice-cold beauty stirred desire, leaving them regretful about possibly not seeing her again.
Finally, Joseph Grant couldn’t stand it anymore and approached Quiana Sutton, wanting to say sothing but found himself stamring inexplicably.
Quiana Sutton raised her gaze, looking at him, gently swayed her wine glass: "You’re looking for ?"
Under great anticipation and pressure, a rich and determined voice ca forth: "They want to take a picture with you."
Quiana Sutton turned and glanced at them. They seed slightly embarrassed and averted their gazes. With a faint friendly smile, she said: "Sure, let’s take a picture together."
Originally, only the n wanted to take a picture with her, but before the picture was taken, everyone gathered around.
"Don’t be excessive, just you guys together; either everyone takes it or nobody does."
"Right."
Miranda White and Joseph Grant each occupied the left and right sides, and Joseph Grant slyly had the service staff take a group photo with his phone.
Then he purposefully cropped Quiana Sutton and him alone for the wallpaper.
Miranda White saw Joseph Grant grinning silly, curiously glanced over, and instantly understood. She never imagined the day would co when the playboy Joseph Grant turned into this pure-hearted boy.
Despite her internal teasing, she did the sa, cropping Quiana Sutton and herself out separately.
After the group photo, a few female supporting cast remained by Quiana Sutton’s side, unable to hold back, and asked with a slightly interrogative tone: "What exactly is your relationship with Mr. Landon?"
Although they didn’t show any excessively intimate behavior on set, but the day Mr. Landon held her hand while leaving the crew, they keenly felt Mr. Landon had a different attitude towards Quiana Sutton.
Quiana Sutton curved her lips, glanced at them, seeming to possess an innocent purity: "What do you think my relationship with him is?"
They actually wanted to say if she was Mr. Landon’s secret lover; after all, there weren’t many in Capital City fit to be his girlfriend.
But knowing she would never admit such a thing, they forced themselves to swallow their words.
At this mont, Quiana Sutton received a video on her phone. She pulled it out of her pocket to take a look—it was Isabelle Sorville being kidnapped.
Her mouth sealed with tape, hands bound behind her.
Alongside the video, a ssage was sent—
[If you want to save her, co alone.]
Upon witnessing this scene, her eyes changed instantly, with her blood nearly freezing through her body. It took imnse effort to compose herself, walking over to the director, trying her best to speak calmly:
"Director, I’m sorry, but I have an urgent matter to attend to."
William Parker was puzzled: "Is it sothing pressing that requires imdiate attention?"
Quiana Sutton looked apologetically at him: "I’m really sorry, but it’s sothing I must deal with right now."
Then she promptly left the room.
The remaining people exchanged confused glances, wondering why she left in such a hurry.
Quiana Sutton sat in the driver’s seat, sensing the anger in her chest almost consuming her, along with a feeling of unease and fear.
She harbored deep fears concerning the kidnapping, intuitively feeling it was targeted at her.
She was unwilling for Isabelle Sorville to beco a cold tombstone on her behalf.
The car sped down the road, leaving trails behind, as ti ticked away, her eyes grew darker, haunted by mories replaying like flashbacks.
Her brother, hit in the chest, spilled blood staining her clothes red as he tried to save her, and her father t with an accident trying to bring her ho, flas tearing open behind him like a monstrous beast.
These mories almost drove her insane, rendering her into a frenzied state with her blood boiling.
