A man? Where is Miss Xia now? Why is there a man beside her?

Up until now, there has been no word of Miss Xia having a boyfriend...Who could this man be?

The waves of doubt, like a high tide, quickly swept over and engulfed Zhang Te’s assistant.

...

During the elevator ride upstairs, Xia Wan’an glanced at her evening gown reflected in the mirror and spoke to Han Jingnian, "Mr. Han, if you don’t mind, could you please wait for upstairs for a while? I will change into more casual clothes in my room."

"Sure." After responding to her, Han Jingnian asked, "On which floor does Miss Xia live?"

After Xia Wan’an told him her floor number, Han Jingnian gentlemanly extended his hand to press the floor button for her.

Once back in her room, Xia Wan’an first charged her phone, then chose a sweater and jeans from her wardrobe. After changing, she took her room key, ready to leave. But just as she reached the entryway, as if recalling sothing, she returned and retrieved a small first aid box from her luggage, taking out two sober-up pills.

Upon arriving at the rooftop lounge and coffee shop, Xia Wan’an imdiately spotted Han Jingnian sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows.

Indeed, the boss is the boss. Even when he cos to the lounge, he casually secures the best spot for observing the night scene.

Before the approaching waiter could ask if she was alone or looking for a friend, Xia Wan’an raised her hand, pointing to Han Jingnian who was gazing out at the snowy scene, "Over there."

Since Han Jingnian often cos here alone or with other n, a waitress was taken aback when a heavily made-up woman ca looking for him. It took her a mont to lead Xia Wan’an to Han Jingnian.

Before she even reached the table, eager to talk to Han Jingnian, the waitress started, "Mr. Han, this lady says she’s looking for you?"

Han Jingnian kept staring out the window without any response.

Xia Wan’an had no choice but to call, "...Mr. Han."

Han Jingnian swung his head around, "Miss Xia, you’re here."

As Han Jingnian finished speaking, the waitress sheepishly moved to the seat opposite Han Jingnian, intending to pull out the chair for Xia Wan’an. However, before she could even touch the chair, Han Jingnian’s hand was already on the chair back.

He slid the chair to an appropriate distance, passing over the waitress, looking towards Xia Wan’an, "Miss Xia, please have a seat."

Once they were seated, the waitress asked, "Mr. Han, what can I get for you?"

Han Jingnian didn’t rush to answer the waitress but turned to Xia Wan’an, "Miss Xia, coffee?"

Sliding her finger along the nu, Xia Wan’an settled on the liquor section, "Mr. Han, it’s late, and coffee might keep us awake. Why don’t we have so wine, how does that sound?"

Just like when Xia Wan’an suggested driving, a hint of bewildernt and surprise flitted across Han Jingnian’s eyes, but it soon disappeared as he blinked, clearing his emotions, "Sure."

After that, he turned to the waitress standing nearby, "Stick with her suggestion."

"Alright, Mr. Han." The waitress left and shortly returned with two glasses and a bottle of wine.

Xia Wan’an picked up the wine and poured a glass for each of them. Then, she raised her glass at Han Jingnian, "Mr. Han, thank you for all your help tonight."
