When she woke up again, Xia Wan’an had to use the bathroom. Still half asleep, she found her way to the bathroom following her mory. Only after washing her hands and leaving the bathroom did she realize that the bed was empty.
Much of her sleepiness had disappeared. As she neared the bed, she saw Han Jingnian’s side of the bed was impeccably neat...
The man still hasn’t co back to the bedroom to sleep? What ti was it?
As Xia Wan’an pondered this, she glanced at the clock on the wall...it was already half past three in the morning.
Really? She had already had a full sleep, and he was still sulking in his study?
With this in mind, Xia Wan’an stepped out of the bedroom and once again pushed open the study door, poking her head in and turning her gaze to Han Jingnian, who was sitting at his desk: "Are you planning to keep working until dawn?"
Han Jingnian didn’t respond, his slender and graceful fingertips sweeping across the keyboard, the sound of his keystrokes noticeably louder than when she had first opened the door.
He was not only sulking - he was totally imrsed in jealousy!
Seeing that Han Jingnian had no intention of acknowledging her, Xia Wan’an exited the study room once again.
Just as Xia Wan’an closed the door, Han Jingnian slamd his hand onto the keyboard. His eyes sparkling with rage, he stared at the computer screen for a while, then suddenly lifted the keyboard, intending to smash it on the computer. However, before he could follow through, the study door was pushed open once again, and Xia Wan’an peeked her head inside.
