Xia Wan’an stared at the familiar scenes along the way, watching them for a while before the mories of her conversation with her doctor at the hospital returned.
"Miss Xia, after careful examination and evaluation by our team, your physical condition is currently quite poor. If you want to have a child now, it might be a bit difficult."
"What about in the future?"
The chief physician didn’t reply.
"Doctor, just tell . I can handle it."
The doctor seed troubled.
"Doctor, does this an I’ll never be able to have children?"
Upon hearing this, the doctor finally spoke: "It’s hard to say about the future, after all, there are too many miracles in this world, so Miss Xia, don’t think of things as being this serious. Besides, with the advancents in dical science and all, furthermore, it’s not that you can’t get pregnant, it’s just that the probability is low."
She stared at the doctor for a long while before she finally asked, "Doctor, how low is my chance of getting pregnant?"
The doctor spoke very euphemistically: "It’s just a little lower than that of most people."
Xia Wan’an hated how she kept pushing for more answers, but she had no choice, "Is it half? ... What about a quarter? ...One-tenth? ..."
At the end, tears welled up in Xia Wan’an’s eyes, "It’s not even one percent, is it?"
The doctor, avoiding her gaze, couldn’t bear to look into Xia Wan’an’s eyes any longer, "Miss Xia, don’t let your mind run wild. You are not absolutely infertile, it’s just very, very hard. Besides, children should be raised, not borne, Miss Xia, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself..."
"Thank you, I understand." Hearing this, she didn’t argue with the doctor any more, but left quietly and politely after thanking him.
She was an astute person. Many things that were unclear to others, she could see right through. In truth, she had understood everything from the doctor’s initial response. It was just that she wouldn’t accept her fate.
Her relentless probing eventually upset her...Not even a one percent chance...didn’t that equate to her being infertile?

In the afternoon, after his eting, Han Jingnian sat in his office, reviewing the wedding planning and wedding dress pattern layouts prepared by Zhang Te as per his instructions.
Only three booklets, yet Han Jingnian spent a good four hours looking at them, more attentive than he was with any other docunts he usually read.
He flipped through them over and over again until the sun set and darkness filled the sky outside the window, and then he finally tossed the booklets on the table.
Zhang Te took a sigh of relief, thinking that he was done studying them, "President Han, how is it? Have you made a choice?"
Han Jingnian shook his head, raised his hand to rub his sowhat sore brows from staring for too long, "None of them are good enough for her."
Zhang Te: "..." These were all world-class wedding plans and top-of-the-line wedding gown designs!
Zhang Te, daring to feel anger but not to express it, said, "Then I’ll prepare so alternative plans for you tomorrow."
Han Jingnian nodded, then waved his hand to indicate for Zhang Te to go downstairs to prepare the car, ready to go ho after work.
When he got ho, Han Jingnian found that no one was there. He glanced at the ti, it was already 10 o’clock, why hadn’t she co back yet?
