The appreciation session kicked off quickly.
All the designers who ca to participate in this session had drawn lots to decide their order of presentation. Chi Mu was the 18th, and as for Xia Wan’an... she was the last one, the 26th.
It had to be admitted that those who dared to showcase their work at the Yuerong Club were all people of exceptional caliber. Xia Wan’an sat in her chair while chatting leisurely with the lady next to her and watched the designs displayed on the big screen. Each and every piece stood out with its extraordinary and eye-catching elents.
Unconsciously, the presentation got to the 17th designer. When Xia Wan’an heard the host suggest that the "18th designer" get ready, she turned her head to see Chi Mu: the rest of the competitors separating them.
Chi Mu looked very confident. When she heard her own number being called, the corners of her lips twitched up slightly.
About five minutes later, the 17th designer’s work had been showcased. Chi Mu lightly lifted the hem of her gown and, upon standing up, gracefully headed towards the stage. Standing in the center, she first bowed politely to the audience below before handing the host her USB.
"Hello everyone, my na is Chi Mu..."
With Chi Mu’s simple self-introduction, the big screen behind her lit up, and in the center of the white page, three characters appeared — "Deer and Whale".
"This is the work I am presenting today, called Deer and Whale..."
As Chi Mu explained her project, her design appeared on the big screen.
It was a design infused with elents from a blue whale and the plum blossom deer. Using blue diamonds, pink diamonds, and white diamonds, the set of clothes was impressively stunning.
How to describe it... it was like you could really see a deer in the deep woods and a whale in the deep sea...
Chi Mu’s design successfully attracted the attention of everyone present. Even the middle-aged woman who had been chatting with Xia Wan’an and showing no interest in the designs, stopped to gaze at the big screen with interest.
The five-minute presentation ended quickly, but everyone in the audience was still staring at the now blank screen, as if they hadn’t had enough.
About a dozen seconds later, thunderous applause broke out.
This round of applause was different from what the previous designers received. It was recognition; it was astonishnt; it was admiration.
Facing the enthusiastic applause, Chi Mu gracefully bowed to the audience and then, in her high heels, stepped down.
As Chi Mu walked down from the stage, almost everyone’s attention was on her. Discussions were already stirring among the excited crowd.
"This work is simply too beautiful!"
"Yes, the designer is very talented!"

Amid these complints, when Chi Mu, who had returned to her seat, sat down, she turned her head to look at Xia Wan’an.
As she locked eyes with Chi Mu, Xia Wan’an imdiately tightened her lips, as if she was angry, surprised, and confused about what was happening...
Chi Mu was pleased to see this reaction from Xia Wan’an. She hooked her lips slightly and, with a dismissive attitude, withdrew her gaze and imperiously sat in her seat.
