...

In the spring, Han Yixiao had planted so strawberries in the small villa yard behind the old house. Now, they had finally bore fruit. Although the strawberries she grew were small and unattractive, after picking them, she washed a plate full, intending to bring them to her grandmother to taste.

Just as she reached the door of the old house and pushed it open without even moving across to the hallway, she heard her grandmother on the phone.

An’an... Xia Wan’an, her cousin’s wife?

Han Yixiao abruptly stopped and upon hearing her grandmother’s conversation, she dumped the strawberries onto the hallway shoe cabinet, and bolted out the door.

Her cousin’s wife was trapped in a scandal at Miss Chi’s welcoming party? Her grandmother seed quite upset about it...

Her cousin’s wife was the only person in this world who had ever saved her and treated her well. Now that she was in trouble, she was definitely going to help her!

Once Han Yixiao had rushed out of the residential gate and stopped a taxi, she gestured for quite a while, but the taxi driver didn’t understand her.

In her rush, she had not brought her mobile phone. She took out all the cash she had and stuffed it into the driver’s hand, pointed to his phone, and made more gestures. After a while, the taxi driver seed to understand, passing Han Yixiao his mobile phone.

Han Yixiao nodded rapidly, showing her gratitude, then gripping the phone, she typed out a ssage and handed it back to the driver.

The ssage was the address of Xia Wan’an’s parents.

When Xia Wan’an married Han Jingnian, she had seen Xia Wan’an’s information in her grandmother’s room. Even though she couldn’t speak, her mory was far superior to most people. So, she rembered the address clearly even now.

All the people who were invited to Miss Chi’s welcoming party were surely her close associates. If sothing happened there, everyone would probably turn against her cousin’s wife. Hence, she needed to bring in Xia Wan’an’s family... Only then would Xia Wan’an not find herself isolated and helpless.

The old house was not far from where Xia Wan’an’s parents lived, about fifteen minutes away by car.

As soon as Han Yixiao got off the taxi, she rushed towards the Xia family’s front door. She was about to press the doorbell when the door opened, and out stepped a handso young man.

The man was tall, and after looking her up and down, he finally spoke, "May I ask who you are looking for?"

Han Yixiao gestured briefly, and unlike the taxi driver, the young man appeared to be much sharper. Taking in her situation, he quickly realized that she could not speak, and took out his phone to hand to her.

Han Yixiao typed: "Is this Xia Wan’an’s house?"

The man nodded, "Yes, this is my sister’s house, I am her brother Xia Chen’an. May I ask what you need from my sister?"

Upon hearing the word ’brother’, Han Yixiao imdiately began typing energetically: "I am Han Yixiao, the cousin of Han Jingnian, and Xia Wan’an is my cousin’s wife, she’s in trouble now..."

Xia Chen’an’s eyesight was excellent, and as soon as Han Yixiao’s typed words entered his vision, his gaze slowly chilled, "Are you saying, my sister is at the Chi family’s banquet right now, being accused of having an affair with a man nad He Che? My sister went on a business trip to Hong Kong a few days ago, were there rumors of soone recording a video of He Che entering her room on Tuesday night?"

As Xia Chen’an’s words landed, from a not too far distance behind them, the door of a sedan was suddenly pushed open, and Song Youman, wearing a pair of white shoes, rushed over, snatching the phone from Han Yixiao’s hand.

(End of 12th update, this is indeed a case where one party is in difficulty and help cos from all quarters!)
