Ai Jiang pursed her lips, saying nothing more.

The room grew silent for a mont, then Ai Jiang took the initiative to speak again: "So... Miss Chi, what did you need from ?"

"You know Xia Wan’an, that vixen, don’t you?" Chi Mu cut straight to the chase, with no beating around the bush at all.

"I do, we were classmates for many years."

"As far as I know, you lost a fight against her and got purged from the Han Family by Han Jingnian, didn’t you? I bet there’s a lot of hatred for her in your heart? Interestingly, I feel the sa way..." Chi Mu didn’t wait for Ai Jiang to say anything, just continuing with her own agenda: "I’ll be blunt, I want Han Jingnian."

Ai Jiang was always clever, and upon hearing this, she imdiately understood Chi Mu’s intentions: "So, Miss Chi, you wish to join forces with to get rid of Xia Wan’an?"

Chi Mu nodded, too lazy to exchange any more words with Ai Jiang.

Ai Jiang deliberated for a while, then spoke: "Miss Chi, I can join hands with you, even strategize for you, but I hope you can help out with sothing first."

Chi Mu raised an eyebrow, but did not respond.

"I have been seriously harassed by a man nad Jiang Ping recently. I want your help getting rid of him..." Ai Jiang was desperate to cut ties with Jiang Ping because that man was simply horrible. He called her over whimsically and treated her as if she were not a person, ssing with her at will. Just last night, he called her over at 3 in the morning...

Chi Mu chuckled upon hearing this: "Miss Ai, you want to solve your problem even before you’ve done anything? Isn’t that overestimating your worth? In a nutshell, if you want to join , stay, otherwise leave. Don’t tell you think I can’t do without you?"

Chi Mu’s sarcastic remarks caused Ai Jiang to lower her head, biting her lip, and remaining silent.

Did she despise Xia Wan’an? Of course, she did. If not for Xia Wan’an, she wouldn’t be at the rcy of Jiang Ping’s whims. She dread of making life worse than death for Xia Wan’an.

However, she was not currently in a position to harm Xia Wan’an. Chi Mu’s ergence was the best thing that had happened to her... thus, she could not reject an alliance with Chi Mu. Bearing a little now could help achieve bigger goals later. As for the Jiang Ping situation, she could slowly work it out after winning Chi Mu’s favor.

Thinking back, hadn’t she been bending over backward around Xia Wan’an and Song Youman for years?

However, compared to Xia Wan’an and Song Youman, Chi Mu was too overbearing. Teaming up with her would likely lead to a lot of hardship in the future.

In just a few seconds, Ai Jiang timidly spoke up: "I’m sorry, Miss Chi, I was too hasty."

Chi Mu’s expression finally softened.

Seeing that Chi Mu wasn’t speaking, just as Ai Jiang was trying to think of sothing to cheer her up, Chi Mu’s phone rang.

Chi Mu answered the call, hung up after less than a minute, and then tapped on her smartphone screen a few tis, starting to watch a video.

Seeing Chi Mu totally ignoring her, Ai Jiang spoke up: "Miss Chi?"

Chi Mu glanced at her and then, with a nonchalant face, said, "You can leave now," before continuing to watch her phone screen.

Seeing this, Ai Jiang took the hint and didn’t disturb Chi Mu. However, as she was getting up, her gaze accidentally swept over Chi Mu’s phone screen and spotted a familiar figure...
