Xia Wan’an hesitated for a mont and then handed her phone to He Che.
He Che keyed in eleven digits, then dialed the number. When his phone rang, he hung up and returned the phone to Xia Wan’an.
Taking back her phone, Xia Wan’an entered the cetery. As she maneuvered deeper into the cetery, she marked He Che’s number as ’Cloaked Beast’ in her contacts.
Watching Xia Wan’an vanish into the night, He Che stared at her number for a while but did not mark it.
Because her phone number, an eleven-digit figure, was all too familiar to him... familiar enough for him to recite it backwards and forwards...
