Following the long corridor and turning two corners, the yellow-haired man stopped in front of a private room, raised his hand, knocked on the door, and waited until he heard a "co in" from inside before he pushed the door open and glanced at Xia Wan’an.
Xia Wan’an paused for two seconds, seeing that the yellow-haired man showed no signs of entering, she returned a polite smile and stepped into the private room.
The yellow-haired man did not follow her in, but stood guard at the door.
The private room was large and dimly lit. Xia Wan’an walked several steps inside before she could see a person sitting on the black leather sofa.
He was dressed in baggy clothing, wearing a mask and a hat, wrapped tightly even amidst the sumrti.
From his attire alone, it was hard to distinguish whether he was male or female.
But fortunately, from what she had learned from Lu Yangui and Zhang Te’s assistant, Q’s voice was chanically altered to be gender-neutral, so when he said "co in," Xia Wan’an already knew it was Q. Q got up and headed out of the private room first.
Xia Wan’an followed.
After leaving the KTV, Q said, "Get in my car."
Xia Wan’an responded with an "Okay" and followed Q into a van.
The driver was the yellow-haired man, and to avoid any slip-up, Q did not talk to her, nor did she talk to Q.
