Chapter 6: Principal
The room imdiately went into an uproar with many people standing up and showing off a gallery of different emotions. So had fear in their eyes of what was to co to get inside the school, so were crying or had sad expressions because of the sudden blow, and so were even angry yelling profanities and protest over the announcent. Even Kaden had a slight frown on his face while Ashly was looking at Kaden with a smile and Emma was calm having no reaction and having her normal pleasant expression.
'It seems she knew about this happening.' Kaden thought ignoring Ashly's stare and continuing to watch Emma wondering how strong exactly her family is.
If this were a normal thing that happened in the academy, then the current crowd of students wouldn't have such an extre reaction but in the past the academy worked on a first co first serve basis with of course the outliners such as powerful family's kids and other kids that had extre potential. Even then everyone that was accepted for the ceremony powerful or not was let inside the school to begin their classes imdiately starting the next day.
Instead of questioning the announcent anymore inside his mind Kaden just paid attention to the tall man at the front waiting for more information.
"Ahem." The tall person said clearing his throat but it wasn't just any type of clearing his throat. A green shockwave was sent throughout the room causing everyone that was currently standing to stumble back into their seats and those that were already seated to beco quite nauseous.
'This is- Quite unpleasant.' Kaden thought holding his hand on his mouth but still staring straight into the eyes of the tall man.

As the man was gazing across the room after sending his shockwave he saw Kaden not bent over in sickness and it seed the two girls on either side of him were about the sa. Seeing this he looked directly into Kaden's eyes and then the girls giving them a slight smile, 'Impressive.' He thought to himself.

Seeing the tall man's gaze fall upon him Kaden didn't look away and even gave back a small smile himself before the tall man looked away once more and addressed the crowd, "Now that you all have cald down let continue first with my introduction. My na is John Silver and I am the principal of this school. If any of you have any problems with taking a test to get into my school you may leave now but for those of you who stay I will explain the rules of entry and continue on with our ceremony. You have 5 minutes."
Imdiately the room went up in volu like before. The continued announcent made people forget about being nauseous and begin talking with those around them about what they should do but despite this not a single person got up to leave the building much less even go to the bathroom.
Right as it seed like Principal John was going to start speaking again a student towards the front of the rows got up and started walking towards the exit.
This move surprised many as the whole audience watched them silently leave the place. The weird thing was that the person was wearing a hoodie tightly over their face so no one saw who they were. Once they reached the exit the person pushed the door open without hesitation and left the building making the door slam shut.
When the door clicked back into place everyone awoke from their surprise and whispered a little amongst themselves once more before the principal interrupted, "Is that everyone? If so I would like to begin." The principal didn't even glance twice at the person that walked out which surprised Kaden a little.
'I thought the principal of such a place might be offended if soone walked out over a small challenge.' He thought to himself.
Seeing that no one else was leaving the principal put on a smile looking out at all of the eager faces Kaden's included, "Now that you have decided to stay let explain to you your test to enter the academy." He said pausing for a mont to let everyone's anticipation rise before he continued, "After each student has had their Awakening you will split into groups of 5 amongst yourselves. These teams will not be pre-determined so we can not only see your social skills but also see your ability to plan and work together. The exam itself will be a simple monster hunt. Nothing out of the ordinary but there of course is a catch while you're monster hunting there will be 2 other teams with you in your exam and it's a battle to stay in the academy. Not only will the last team with the least amount of monster kills by the end of the given ti be not allowed in the academy but the second place group will also not be allowed inside the academy. We will keep tally of the monsters you kill with our caras so there will be no chance for cheating. That's all for now hope you all have an amazing awakening."
With that mouthful of a speech out of the way the principal walked down from the podium and exited the building with a few teachers following behind him.
Pondering over the information carefully Kaden started organizing a plan in his head on how to best approach the exam but he realized they didn't give so key information like terrain or how strong the beast are, 'I suppose we will find out soon enough but the biggest part of planning for this is the result of the awakening. Every person in the world waits for this mont to finally open up their abilities.' Kaden thought to himself in excitent putting the exam in the back of his mind and paying attention to the front of the room once more to just enjoy this once in a life ti experience.
A smaller teacher walked up to the microphone and spoke, "Now that the announcnt of the exam is over, LET THE AWAKENING BEGIN!" He said causing everyone in the room to cheer excitedly.
