Chapter 3: New Experience
Soon after reading the email a few more tis Kaden fell into a deep sleep in the comfort of his blanket.
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
"HEY BRO! GET UP! I SAID IT'S TI TO GET UP! YOU BETTER GET UP YOU LAZY SLOTH BEFORE I KICK YOU MYSELF" A voice blared inside of Kaden's ears causing his body to imdiately sit straight up from his bed in a panic. Kaden's eyes looked all around the room trying to find the culprit of the sound before his eyes landed on his phone which was currently lit up and vibrating constantly.
Dragging himself over to his phone Kaden realized that the sounds were by his phone and that the voice he heard was the prerecorded ssage Kaden set up for his alarm so he didn't sleep in.
'Well that worked like a charm.' Kaden said sighing in relief that it wasn't so pyscho trying to wake him up after breaking into his house.
Getting up from his bed and stretching over dramatically with an added yawn Kaden walked into his bathroom to get ready for his first day at ability school. Putting on his new uniform which was required by all students to wear which was suited with a military grade fabric that could resist the efforts of his grade military weapons since so of the students abilities would shred any type of normal clothing, Kaden looked in the mirror inwardly complinting the maker of the uniforms as it was quite nice and comfortable to wear despite being such a crazy fabric.
The uniform was a black blazer with dark grey khaki pants which suited Kadens preferred style of clothing. Despite wearing such bright and sowhat vibrant colors yesterday it was nowhere near his favored clothing option. The only reason he wore such a thing was to match the cafes more bright and bubbly atmosphere. He may be confident in himself but that was no reason to get stared at even more than he already was during the altercation.
After putting on the uniform neatly and removing all the wrinkles and inconsistences he could Kaden brushed his long curly brown hair to make it not as ssy as it usually was. Finally after finishing the rest of his daily chores Kaden grabbed his black combat bag and walked out of his apartnt.
The travel went much better than he had expected, making it all the way to the school without incident. As masses of kids his age and older walked past him entering the tall iron gates of the school, Kaden took a second to just marvel at the sheer size of the school. The building had multiple floors with students filling all the floors as they could be seen from outside through the windows. Also farther off in the distance and right beside the school Kaden could see multiple of their facilities that had been kindly marked with a sign on the front of the building saying things such as, "Training Rooms", "Research Lab", and even a "Teachers' Lounge" which was strangely bigger than the rest of the buildings.
As Kaden was marveling at the size of the buildings and about to walk inside the school a feminine voice invaded his ears, "Hey! Elevator guy!" The voice shouted causing Kaden to turn around in confusion only to be t with the sight of a sowhat familiar face. It was the goth girl from the elevator yesterday.
'I thought she was much older than ?' Kaden thought confused inside of his mind.
"Fancy seeing you here. Are you a freshman as well?" Kaden said with a light smile on his face.
The girl looked at him funny for a second then saying, "Yeah it's my first year here. I didn't want to co here originally but now I'm kind of excited for the entrance awakening and to see what this place has to offer." She said looking at the school with a creepy grin on her face.
"That's what I-" As Kaden was about to finish his sentence a loud tal sound was heard around the school as holes started forming all over the place causing lots of students to panic but as Kaden looked around at so of the other students so seed not worried at all about the situation, so Kaden just waited patiently seeing what was going to happen.
After the holes in the ground opened for a mont, a pole suddenly shot out of each hole with a loudspeaker attached to each one before a voice ca out of it, "All freshman please report to the training gym imdiately for the entrance awakening! All freshn please report to the training gym imdiately for the entrance awakening! That's all, thank you." The voice finished making the poles sink back into the ground and be covered by the ground once more before Kaden could even blink.
"Wow." Is all Kaden could say even more astonished by the level of technology in this place.

The girl beside Kaden smirked unknowingly to him at his astonished face and thought laughing to herself, 'That reaction is not terrible either.'

Once Kaden ca out of his stupor, he turned to the girl beside him and began to bid farewell as he didn't want to be late, "Well it seems I should go now. I don't want to be late to the ceremony." He said letting so of his excitent seep out a little.
"I agree, I don't want to be late either. Want to head over there together?" The girl asked with a light hopefulness in her eyes.
After thinking for a mont and seeing no reason not to he agreed to go to the ceremony with the girl and as they were nearing the gym she whispered sothing to him, "My na is Ashly." The girl said continuing to walk forward.
"My na is Kaden." He replied putting a slight smirk on Ashly's face.
After walking a little longer they arrived at a huge crowd of people funneling inside two open doors for the sa reason they were.
"Welco to the Ability Ceremony!" A man with glasses and a suit said with a gaphone as he floated in the air just above the doors into the gym.
