Chapter 25: Anger
"What do you an a second chance?!" Another student shouted at Mr. Wright before he could speak again.
"I was about to ge-" Mr. Wright started.
"I don't want to take a test with criminals! Can you even guarantee my safety!" Another shouted in anger.
Mr. Wright seed to be getting annoyed with all the interruptions and students speaking over him since his face was no longer calm, "I was getting to that as I said before. Now I'm going to explain the situation and I would appreciate it if you were at least as quiet as the inmates you're getting annoyed over."
The students from the gym suddenly realized that all of the inmates besides Sky have not spoken a single word since they had arrived in the area and looking at their faces many were sweating slightly not daring to say a word which confused many but they stayed quiet after hearing Mr. Wrights words.
After seeing that no one else was going to interrupt him Mr. Wright smiled and continued once more, "Now. Let explain this all to you. The reason these inmates are being a second chance is due to the school and so other figures saying that rather than these individuals rotting in a jail cell their entire lives they can be trained such as all of you and then be forced into military service afterward. Your next question was how we can guarantee your safety. This is quite simple really, if you look at each of their necks you will see a tal collar. This tal collar is a remote-controlled device that can be used both to restrain and kill these individuals at any mont. So, if any of them so much as lay a hand on you without permission then they will face the death penalty imdiately."
After Mr. Wright said this the group of inmates sweated even more minus Sky who was currently still snuggling on Kaden's arm in ecstasy. The students didn't have any more objections at this point either since not only was their question answered but they had a new fear of Mr. Wright.
"Makes sense."
"Yeah, I see no problems." So of the students said scratching the back of their heads.
This made Mr. Wrights normal calm tone and expression return, "Well that's good! Now let's split all of you into groups. All of you get in a single file line in front of and be assigned your new teammate. However, you." He said pointing at Sky, "You may join his group for the exam so please wait over there." He said pointing to another patch of grass beside the exam forest.
This made Sky's mouth erupt even further into a smile and Kaden grinned as well walking over to the patch of grass while Ken and Ashly just sighed in defeat and not particularly caring. However, Emma was enraged even further by this and walked over to say sothing to Mr. Wright but before she could she received a deep and threatening glare from him that sent shivers even down her spine.
'Who is he to give such fear?' She thought to herself as she resigned walking over to the patch of grass with the others.
"See! I told you it was ant to be!" Sky said jumping up and down while her arms still connected to Kaden's making him laugh until he looked in her eyes that seed to be becoming more and more obsessive by the mont.
'This is what I wanted but I feel I need to do sothing about this.' He said to himself before looking towards the rest of his group that was also looking at him but in a stranger way.
"Sky this is the group we will be working with for the exam. I hope you will get along with all of them." Kaden said taking her closer towards them and then gesturing towards each introducing them to Sky.
"It's uh- nice to et you?" Ashly was the first one to approach unsure of how to feel about the situation and just kept it at a simple greeting.
The rest were similar except Emma who just looked at her with contempt completely and even got mad at Ken for giving a simple greeting. Ken then joined her as well in ignoring Sky.
"Nice to et you all as well except the bitch of course!" Sky said cheerfully.
"Also, I hope all of you know not to touch my Kaden or I will kill you all." Skylar continued but this ti only at a whisper that could only be heard by the group present.
Kaden just smiled and laughed awkwardly at this. He was quite enjoying the attention as he had never gotten sothing so extre before so he just continued enjoying the mont and even locked his arms tighter which make Sky's smile beco crazier in return.
Timmy shivered in fear from Sky and got behind Ken for protection. The rest just looked at her strangely with each having their own opinion on the matter but keeping it to themselves for now seeing that the exam will be starting soon, "So what's the plan for the exam." Ashly said opening up the conversation.
The others all awkwardly looked at each other as they realized they had no clue how they were going to move forward with the exam.
"Well how about we start with each person saying what they would be good at in a battle," Ken said as he knew each person would not reveal their class it would be better just to give an idea of what kind of battle power they may bring to the table.
Kaden looked around and saw that no one was going to volunteer first despite being the ones to start the idea, so he went ahead and stepped forward with Sky still attached and said, "I won't be of any use fire power-wise until we kill one."
These words imdiately threw them all into confusion.
