Zhao Yiming finally arrived at his apartnt, devastated and humiliated more than anything. He then rembered Luo Yanyu and felt even more guilty.

"I should apologize to that young lady," he muttered. "Luo Yanyu, was it? That's what the system called her."

He rubbed his chin, enjoying the sun from the balcony before even stepping inside the apartnt.

Because he knew—it was a whole ss. A dumpster. A disaster. Just like his life now.

"But why did those kids block my path out of nowhere?" he mumbled.

"This body must've stirred up sothing. Tch."

He sighed again. He didn't rember Zhao Yiming's life before his soul entered this body at all.

Everything was like a blank canvas—no clue what was going on in this young man's life.

"I should tidy up first. Then look for any docunts—an ID card, bank statents, sothing. Maybe I can piece together who this kid used to be."

He nodded to himself and took the cleaning supplies out of the plastic bags, then suited up with latex gloves, boots, a face mask, and even headgear—as if he were going to war.

First step: trash sorting.

Bottles, cans, magazines, old papers—all separated neatly. Anything recyclable went in one pile. Anything valuable got put aside.

Even now, he was thinking about what could be sold.

It wasn't common practice anymore, but to Zhao Yiming, money was money. Waste not, want not.

He picked up a half-filled bottle and grimaced at the foul, dark liquid inside.

"Is this urine?" His face twisted. "Heavens, this kid's a goddamn beast."

He shook his head and muttered as he dumped it out. "Young people these days... Just because you're healthy now doesn't an you can treat your organs like a public toilet."

"Hmph! If this kid were my son, I'd slap him with a slipper so hard, he'd feel the pain in all his organs!"

He tossed the bottle into the right bag, making sure to separate the piss bottles from the rest. Even in filth, there was order.

Eventually, after what felt like a war, half the room was cleared.

He could finally see the floor.

Zhao Yiming sighed and wiped the sweat from his brow. Then walked to the window and yanked it open—the fresh air rushing in like rcy.

It had been completely buried under trash—especially porn magazines and other things that made him judge this young man even harder.

"Was I this much of a degenerate when I was young?" he mumbled, then paused. "Oh, right. I was a gang leader back then."

He clicked his tongue. "I guess I shouldn't judge this kid too hard."

Zhao Yiming continued, he moved on to paper trash—magazines, novels, and newspapers.

He squatted in front of the pile and picked up a newspaper about economics and business, specifically estate developnt. He skimd the article.

> "Xu Longwei dominates the estate developer business after fifteen years! The Shadow Dragon of Business, who vanished after his wife's death, finally appears at a conference!"

Zhao Yiming's brow furrowed.

"Huh... this kid reads this stuff?"

He picked up a few more magazines. Business. Estate developnt. So were even about Shenghua Real Estate.

"Is he staff at Shenghua Real Estate? The owner of that company is also Xu Longwei..." He looked around the apartnt again.

"No way. If he were a GC or project manager, he wouldn't live like this. Probably just so low-level employee trying to climb."

"Wait, does this an I need to go to work?!" he groaned.

He bundled up all the papers and took the trash out, hauling the ss down to the collection point.

Outside, the sun bead warmly over him.

"Aaah~ a clean room, a good day, and a good sun!"

He stretched, letting the light hit his tired body.

"If only it weren't for that dog-shit deity..."

Zhao Yiming wanted to curse the God—lecture them, spit out every insult in his vocabulary, and remind them how degenerate and shaless they truly were.

But he was a wise old man.

So instead of blowing up... he dumped all that rage into sothing productive:

Cleaning.

He scrubbed the floors, the walls, the toilet—everything. He ripped up the suspiciously brown rug in the living room, chucked out the bed that had sohow turned black, and hauled out every piece of useless, broken junk he could find.

If it could be sold for even a few pitiful coins, it was going.

After hours of war against filth, Zhao Yiming planted his hands on his hips, proudly surveying the gleaming floors, and the spotless walls—even the sofa looked halfway respectable now.

He was damn proud of himself.

Then ca the system notification:

---

[Congratulations on completing the quest!]

[The rewards can now be claid!]

[Rewards: $500 | Perk Unlocked: "Clean Dude" (Cleaning Speed 10%) | 100 AP]

---

"Ahhh~ finally," he muttered, flopping onto the floor—the only surface he truly trusted to be clean.

The sofa was still suspicious. Even after scrubbing it down, he was planning to sell the damn thing.

He closed his eyes and let his mind wander.

During the cleanup, he'd found so docunts buried in the wardrobe—a bank book, an ID card, a high school diploma.

So letters about overdue credit cards, unpaid rent for the apartnt, a spare key... and that was it.

"He didn't even have a birth certificate... or family photos! I couldn't even find his phone..."

It made him think of his old self—Lao Chen. A 55-year-old security guard who worked in this very building, with no family and a pitiful end.

He sighed. "How was my funeral, I wonder? If I woke up just a day after I died... I should've seen it."

"But who would've held one anyway? My wife and daughter left years ago. They probably don't even know I'm gone."

He chuckled bitterly.

"The person who cleaned my room probably judged the sa way I judged this Zhao Yiming. Lonely old man, died alone, no one ca."

He exhaled, staring up at the ceiling.

"The only thing I know about him is his na... and his kink in porn..."

He groaned and turned on his side, wondering what the hell he was supposed to do now. That's when another notification popped up, startling him.

---

[The God of Richness & Love has ssages for you!]

> ["Stop lanting your life and go to the funeral! You'll find out who actually cared, and who didn't. Who your enemies are, who your allies were, who loved you—and who hated your guts!"]

["Boy, I gave you this body so you can live! So do what you want! Go to your own funeral and move on!"]

["Also, don't you wanna take your money?! Don't you wanna et sexy Su ilin again and pay her what she's owed?!"]

---

Zhao Yiming stared at the ssage.

For once, the deity actually said sothing reasonable—and that disturbed him...

But they had a point.

He sat up, slapped both cheeks and stood with purpose.

"Let's go to my funeral."
