"I see. So that is how you control nature mana."

"Yes, Master! You need to let it flow! Like whoosh! And then fwishhhh!"

Her words sound childish—and they are—but they make sense. Especially when you watch what she is doing through a special vision. She moves the way she does not because she cannot put her actions into words, but because she is showing how it works.

I can see the mana around her move, change shape, and respond to her will.

Nature mana is all about the connection between the caster and the world. It is telling the world what to do and letting it use the mana in the air to create the effect you want.

It is very different from my [Druid] class. I have been thoroughly exploring my class and learning a great deal about how it works in this world when I do not rely on system-based spellcasting.

For one, all of my power cos from .

What Hana teaches is the opposite. She shows how to use the mana in the air to create the effect I want. ? I can use the mana from my body and tell the world what to do—or even rewrite the laws of the world themselves. It uses the mana from my body to fuel the process and skips the law of the world to create the thing I want.

Take summoning, for example.

It turns out that all the creatures I summon into this world are beings that should not exist here. So how can I summon them?

When I activate my summoning spells, I create a small channel to another dinsion.

Take Fenrir and Okami. They co from the Spirit World from another dinsion. According to Tiamat, what I am doing is creating a small bridge between our two worlds, allowing to summon creatures from that realm.

At first, I was afraid. This world already has monsters. It does not need more monsters invading our world.

However, Tiamat assured that it is not like the monster dinsion that we know. That place is a waste-disposal dinsion. It is the dinsion where our realm dumps all the negativity. The realms I summon from are proper dinsions. In fact, bringing my summons here benefits their worlds.

It turns out all of their dinsions are starving for energy, and my mana slowly fills them with the energy they require.

To call for their help, I give them my mana, which feeds their world and makes it stronger and healthier. However, Tiamat warned not to summon new creatures and instead maintain the bonds with the ones I have already summoned so they can continuously receive mana.

The reasons? Not all creatures and dinsions are as friendly as the ones I’ve been summoning my creatures from. So of them know nothing but war.

So far, I have been lucky. None of my summons wishes to invade.

But if I ever encounter creatures that want nothing but war and destruction, things will beco complicated.

Because of that, I have reviewed all of my summoned creatures. My [Druid] class is not a problem after a thorough review and inspection.

My [Astrologian] class, however, is another matter.

All the creatures summoned through this class are coming from outer space. They are creatures of the void.

There are many beings out there that I do not want anywhere near this world. Even the lore in Second Life says the sa thing. They are unknowable. They can be benevolent or malevolent. It is fifty-fifty. Even then, what they consider benevolent is very different from what we understand.

So, yes. Using summoning magic from my [Astrologian] class is not sothing I should do. At least without Tiamat watching over the process. According to her, she can cancel the connection between the world and be able to stop the situation in case it goes wrong.

I have already placed all summoning scrolls into a sealed vault back in my guild base so Tiamat can review them.

What? All of my guild mbers are loot goblins. There are all kinds of powerful summoning scrolls in there. Tiamat was summoned from one of them, after all.

"Master!"

I snap out of my thoughts and look at Hana.

"Yes, Hana?"

"Are you okay, Master? You were staring at the tree for a long ti!"

"Ah, sorry about that. I was thinking about sothing. Anyway, let’s continue, shall we?"

"Yes, Master~ Now, let’s make a flower bed!"

I follow Hana as she shows where to plant the seeds. When we finish, we guide the mana in the air, making the flowers grow far faster than they should. We even ensure they bloom much longer than normal flowers.

But as we work, I feel sothing shift.

The flow of mana is disturbed in a five-hundred-ter radius.

Soone is using a stealth spell.

They are coming here.

I silently cast a spell that allows to see hidden traps and detect stealth. I move carefully and notice a man walking toward us while preparing a spell.

I act as if nothing is wrong. Even Hana senses sothing through our bond, but she is smart enough to follow my lead.

We continue as normal until the intruder enters our optimal spell range.

Then I strike.

Roots burst from the ground, coiling around the approaching figure. His stealth spell collapses, revealing an elf in a blue cloak holding a staff. He stares at in shock.

Instead of speaking, his staff flares.

A massive torrent of fire erupts from his staff, and it is coming toward Hana and .

Hana flies in front of , summoning a wall of woods that blocks the attack. She sweeps her hand, and a lot of trees rise from the earth, moving like water as the ground shakes beneath the two of us.

I hum in excitent as the elf teleports free and summons his own spirit.

It is a Fire Spirit. It is rather powerful, and by the feel of the mana it uses, it is also an old spirit.

Not bad.

Unfortunately for him, it is not enough. Hana is the strongest candidate to beco the next Queen of Nature Spirits.

A sea of trees surges around us, clashing against the intruder’s roaring flas. He tries to strike at directly, but Hana refuses to allow it. She forms a barrier around and even provides a chair so I can watch comfortably.

Hana fights with overwhelming power as she uses the mana in the air as if she were breathing. There is no hesitation in her movent. Each ti she moves, trees, roots, and woods appear from the ground, attacking the intruder.

The intruder is able to hold her off, and even do his own counterattack. I am no longer his priority as he is focusing on fighting Hana. He fights with technique and experience from a long ti of training and fighting, while Hana fights him with pure raw power.

Sotis, experience wins. It can change the battle in your favor because experience can give you a lot of advantages in a duel. Especially when you also have good enough firepower and excellent technique, the one with the experience usually wins the fight.

This is not one of those tis.

The reason? If his mana pool is a swimming pool, Hana’s is an ocean. She could fight for a week without stopping. And if she draws on my energy...

She could fight for months.

The intruder, on the other hand... I can already see him running out of steam in this fight, and soon his defence will break.

Their battle draws the attention of others. Without my intervention, they would have joined the fight, but I stopped them. I want to see how Hana handles herself.

So they watch from the side instead.

Only Julian and Jonathan decide to stand next to .

"Who is he, my lord?"

"Hm?" I glance at Jonathan. "I don’t know. He approached using stealth and prepared a binding spell. I think he intended to capture ."

"Kidnapper?"

Julian growls at the word, releasing a wave of bloodlust. I wave a hand, and he reins it in.

"Maybe. I don’t know where he is from, but I have a few theories."

"Do you think he’s from the Central Continent?"

"That is the leading theory. One of their elders made demands of . I refused."

I pull so food from my inventory and share snacks with the others while we watch.

The intruder fights desperately. He tries his best to win this fight. Sadly, Hana is better in every stat, and the gap between them is huge.

Experience and technique cannot bridge that gap.

It does not take long before Hana breaks through his defenses and captures him. Thick roots spear into his body, binding him in place.

According to [Solomon’s Wisdom], it is a binding spell that prevents teleportation.

Not bad. It is a good spell that not only prevents any type of teleportation, including item-based teleportation, but also sucking out mana from the target’s body.

I will copy that. I don’t have many anti-teleportation spells, and this one is simple enough for to master.

"Well. Looks like the fight is over."

I turn to Jonathan.

"Jonathan, would you be so kind as to ensure our guest receives proper treatnt?"

"Of course, my lord. I shall give him the full treatnt—with sothing extra for daring to try and kidnap you."

Yikes.

That smile is not a friendly one.

I almost pity the intruder.

Almost.

"Very well. I leave him to you, Jonathan."
