I look at the woman on the bed, then at the Primordial Mother and my sister, who both smile at . Their too innocent smiles worry a bit. I let out a deep breath and speak.

"What is happening? Why is there a foreign woman here? And why does this always happen when I’m busy with sothing?"

"This woman fainted when she saw . I thought she needed help, and we couldn’t leave a beautiful woman unconscious in the middle of the street, even if this place is safe. As for your last question... I don’t know. Maybe Fate loves you, dear."

I grumble at Tiamat’s answer.

"If they love so much, they should leave alone. I think they hate , Grandmother."

"Of course not! When divine beings like us love soone, we do not leave them alone! So are even willing to experience mortal life so they can go with their loved one, you know?"

I stare at her for a few seconds.

"That includes you, I assu?"

"Of course! I love you and your family! What makes it better is the fact that I will receive another grandbaby! My family is growing bigger! Hehehe~"

"Right."

Even though I sound irritated, the smile on my face says otherwise. She may be capable of sinking continents with a flick of her finger, but she’s still my grandmother. When your literal mother tells you soone is your grandmother, she’s your grandmother. That’s how the Cunningham family works.

She has always been kind to and my family. As long as she continues to do that, she is family. Power level doesn’t matter.

"Anyway, she is healthy. There is nothing wrong with her. She should wake up in a mont."

As if responding to my words, the woman on the bed stirs and bolts upright. She scans the room for a few seconds, then her eyes land on Tiamat—and widen. I widen my eyes at the color of her body. It gets paler each second.

"Wait! Wait! Don’t faint again! She’s not a bad person!"

Instead of listening to , her eyes roll back and she collapses again.

I release a sigh, and I turn to Tiamat.

"What did you do, Grandmother?"

"Hm? I did nothing."

"Then why does she faint at the sight of you?"

"Oh, that is easy. She looked at my aura. She has special eyes—she can see a glimpse of my aura and true form. I wonder why she is afraid? Even though I created the oceans and the races within them, her kind still worships . She should not be afraid. I am her God, after all.

I glance down at the woman and sigh. Of course, she will faint. You are one of her Gods, after all. What’s worse, she also sees a glimpse of your true form. I think I will also go unconscious at the sight of a dragon the size of a continent and the aura that can drown the planet. Yeah. That sight will make faint.

"An elf with special eyes, huh? Is she soone who can use spirits? I heard elves rely on them daily."

"Most likely, yes. It is not a rare ability. Useful, too. They can easily access places filled with spirits—like this one."

"Eh? This place has a lot of spirits?"

Tiamat looks at in shock.

"You don’t know, Gwyn?"

"Not really, no. I don’t have special eyes."

I did have scrolls that let see spirits back in Second Life, but those were common items sold by NPCs—and now I can’t recreate them. Only specialized professions can make them, and none of the classes I currently have can replicate them. That is why it is called a Common-Rare item back in Second Life.

Although... maybe that’s not entirely true. Everything I brought from Second Life works here according to lore. If that’s the case, there should be books that teach spirit vision manually. I can read them and maybe gain the ability to see spirits, or at least the ability to let do that.

I am a Druid, after all. According to lore, Druids are Lords of Spirits—especially Forest Spirits and Nature Spirits. Forest Spirits are the lower-ranking ones; Nature Spirits are the higher tier. They are the sa type of spirit: Green Spirit.

Onmyouji and Shaman players can use spirits as pet companions that support, attack, and defend. The downside is that spirits drain mana every minute, unlike pets or humanoid companions, and they require rare materials to grow. They still get stronger, though, and their racial passive gives them ten percent of the player’s stats. Not only that, unlike pets and companions that can only be resurrected by going through a special mission, spirits can be resummoned after a minute of cooldown.

Usually, Glass Cannons build go INT/WIS, and Tank builds go INT/VIT. The reason? The spirits take 10% of the player’s stats and can go where the player wants. Want the spirit to take damage while you support from a distance? Take the INT/WIS build. Want them to do a lot of damage and great supporting spell casters? INT/WIS build is for you.

So people think of this chanic as Overpower, but the player thinks it is balanced, because Spirit cannot beat a summoned creature, pet, or companion stat-wise when they are on the sa level. Not only that, those players were also limited to two Spirits at a ti.

Point being, I could learn spirit vision manually.

"There are many spirits in this city, dear. They are all happy because of you."

"Because of ? What did I do?"

"You are a beacon of nature. As you walk, nature blooms. Spirits love you because you are the chosen of Nature itself. If you declared your intent to make a contract with a spirit, they would flock to you. Perhaps even the Queen of Nature Spirits would seek you out."

"That much, huh?"

"That much. If you form a contract, a low-ranking spirit would imdiately evolve to mid-ranking. Mid-ranking ones will jump straight to high-ranking spirits. That is how important you are to them."

"I see."

Contracting spirits... that does sound useful. I have huge mana reserves and high regeneration. Maintaining one—or even two—would be easy. Hell, because this is reality and not a ga, I think I can have more than two spirits.

"You want to make a contract, Gwyn?"

I snap out of my thoughts.

"How did you know?"

"Your face, dear. You can hide your expression from others, but I am older than this world. I can read any face without reading the mind."

"Right. Yes, I want to make a contract with them. But I don’t know how."

In Second Life, it was automatic: go to the right location, press a button, and it was done. Here, it will require several steps before I can make a contract. I’ll read those books from the Guild Vault.

"That is easy. I have many books that teach about spirit contracts. I can give you one, or teach you myself."

Before I can reply, Rachel looks up.

"Can I make a contract with a spirit, Grand-Grand?"

Tiamat looks down at her. Her eyes glow slightly, then she smiles.

"Of course. You have a high affinity—equal to the elves. With your current mana, you could form a contract with a mid-ranking spirit imdiately."

"Really? I can do that?! Does that an I can see spirits?!"

"Only the one you contract, dear."

"Yay!"

I smile at her excitent.

"In that case, my answer is already decided. Please teach Rachel, Grandmother. As for , I’ll read and learn on my own."

"Of course, dear. Little Rachel will be the greatest Spirit User the world has ever seen!"

Rachel cheers again, and Tiamat laughs while rubbing her forehead against Rachel’s. After a few seconds, I ask.

"What about Silva and Hilda? Can they learn as well? Can I let them read the book, Grandmother?"

"Why can’t they? It will be your book. It is yours to do whatever you want. Do whatever you wish with it. In fact, I insist you teach them—it will protect them."

"Thank you. I will."

I hug her briefly, then return my attention to the guest on the bed. A few minutes later, she awakens again. Thankfully, Tiamat and Rachel have already left, and she does not faint this ti.

"So! What is your na, dear guest?"
