I can see a small piece of heaven in front of us.
I can see a small forest in the middle of a desert, and from this height, I can see the lake that provides all the water for the plants and trees growing around the oasis. I can see many buildings surrounding the small lake.
I can see granite walls surrounding the village... I cannot call it a village because it is not the size of a village but rather a small town. As we get closer, I can now see the wall is around five to six ters tall and two ters thick.

"I see. So this city is where the other people rest, trade, and even stay before going to other cities, huh?"

I look at the massive gate in front of us and see the captain talking to the guard in front of the gate. After talking for a few seconds, the guard nodded and let us go through.
"Where do we sleep?"
"Because the lord of this city is currently in another city, we need to rent a room in the inn."
"Oh? Where is the lord?"

I hope they have enough personnel because we are hungry, and I have a feeling the two black holes known as Jonathan and Jullian will eat even more food than usual.
The captain, my companion, and I walk to the counter, where I can see a middle-aged woman welcoming us with a warm smile.
"Welco to the Golden Lion! What can I do for you?"
I walk forward and say sothing before the captain can talk.
"We want four rooms. Is there a room where three people can sleep at once?"
"We have one room like that, and it is empty at the mont."
"Great! We will take that one and three big rooms."
One room is for Silva, Hilda, and , while the three rooms are for Sonia, Jullian, and Jonathan.
"Of course. For how long?"
I look at the captain and say.
"How long do we stay in this city?"
"Optionally, we only need to stay for a day, but by the look of the wind, there is a chance of a sandstorm. Pick one day, but we will stay here until midday to see how the situation is. If the sandstorm is not coming, we will continue, but if it is coming, we will stay."
I nod and look back at the woman before saying.

"The silver key is the biggest room while the iron one is the big room. We are serving dinner and breakfast alongside the room. We also have a private bath for the silver room."

I then look at the captain and say.
"What about you? Do you want to stay here? I can rent a room for you."
The captain shakes his head and says.
"Thank you for your consideration, but no. I don’t think it is fair for the rest of my n who stay in the barracks."
"I see. Very well. Anyway, when will we et?"
"I will go here when we are ready to depart tomorrow. For now, enjoy your stay, my lord."
"Thank you. We will."
After the captain left, I looked back at the owner and said,
"Is there any bath the other can use? Also, can my companion use the private bath?"
"There is a public bath at the back where you can go inside for free. As for the private bath, you can let your companion use the private bath if you want. It is your bath, after all."
"I see. Which floor is our room?"
"The highest room, sadly. The fourth floor."
"Right. Anyway, thank you."
After saying that, the six of us walked to the fourth floor and got inside my room first. I look at my companion and say.
"So, what do you guys want to do now?"
Silva thinks for a few seconds and says.
"I think I want to visit the clothing store and then check the dical herbs. While we were on the road, I managed to read so of the dical books we bought from Mantah City, and I wanted to get so of the dical plants to experint with."

"Very well. What about you, Sonia, Hilda?"
"I think I will follow Silva. I want to see the clothes of this place and maybe visit the fruit stall. There is so delicious-looking orange I want to buy."
"I will visit the dical plant store, Father. I also want to do another experint. I read the book we bought from Ulian City."
I nod and look at our bodyguard.
"What about you guys? Jonathan? Jullian?"
"I think I will take a break for now, young master. However, if you want to co, I will co."
I shake my head and say.
"You don’t need to. You are busy fighting the monster, and you deserve that rest. What about you, Jullian? You also joined the soldiers fighting the monster a few hours ago."
I look at Jullian, who is also not in good shape.

So that is the na of this city, huh? The captain did not say the na of the city, and I forgot to ask about it.
"You can go to the pool if you want."
"Pool? There is a pool?"
"Yup. Do you want to show you?"
"Thank you. Also, my na is Gwyndolin, and my companions are Silvanna and Hildegard. Can I ask yours?"
The old man smiles and says.
"Oh my! Where is my manner? My na is Saman, the Steward of Burab City."
