"Don’t struggle in vain. Eric is mine," Arthur said coldly. His wings spread, and in the blink of an eye, he flew into the air.

Eric knew he couldn’t escape anymore. He reached up and yanked the necklace off his neck - it was the symbiotic leaf Evan had left him: "Michael! Don’t chase! Give this to Max and go find the Elves!"

The warm, smooth jade leaf glowed with a shimring light as it fell from the sky into Michael’s hand.

Michael grasped it, pain and anger hitting him so hard his mind went blank. He barely found his reason again and grabbed Grass’s hand.

Taking a few deep breaths, Michael cald down a little: "Don’t chase anymore. That’s a dragon. Chasing him will only anger him. What would happen to the tribesn?"

The Dragon Race, creatures of legend. Ten thousand years ago, relying on their powerful strength, they acted tyrannically. They were besieged by God-tier powerhouses from various races gathered together, teaching the Dragon Race a painful lesson and causing them to lose many descendants. Only then did they restrain themselves.

Since then, they had lived in seclusion on Dragon Island, isolated from the world. The Dragon King restrained the other dragons to avoid inviting the disaster of ten thousand years ago.

The Illusion Dream Continent hadn’t seen the Dragon Race appear for many years. Who could have expected one to appear in the small Hadu tribe today?

Grass clenched her fists, fresh blood dripping down her palms drop by drop. The usually strong Snow Wolf woman now had red eyes.

"But he’s still a cub. I can’t watch him fall into the hands of the Dragon Race. Michael, I can’t just ignore him."

Michael’s emotions nearly collapsed. Having traveled outside for over a month, he missed his tribesn and missed Eric. At this mont, it all turned into helplessness and pain that seeped into his bones.

They had just t. Michael wanted to give Max and Eric so ti, then gather with friends in the evening to find him, talk about what they experienced on the road, and drink until they were drunk...

Eric was still a child and liked seafood; he definitely would have been very curious about the Sea Beastn.

But in such a short ti, the tribe had encountered this catastrophe.

"Listen to Eric. He told us to find the Elves; there must be a reason." Suppressing the pain in his heart, Michael opened his palm to show Grass the necklace.

Grass, originally strong, calm, and self-controlled, revealed a look of fragility at this mont. She tremblingly took the necklace, tears falling.

But her voice was calm.

"Eric always carried this necklace. I think it must have been given to him by Evan. Perhaps it can be used as a token. Evan and Arthur t Eric as humans almost at the sa ti; he definitely knows how to find Arthur."

Evan’s identity was no longer a secret among the few beastn close to them.

The two returned empty-handed, walking back to Eric’s house, which had beco half a ruin. They saw that most of the beastn had fainted. Thomas, Karin, and Queen were anxiously moving the wounded.

After Eric’s magic, Galvin’s condition was much better, but it had only gone from the brink of death to severely injured.

After that, whether Arthur was scared by Eric’s words or intentionally humiliating them, Max didn’t suffer any further injuries, but his previous wounds were very serious. Right now, he was trying hard not to pass out, refusing to let Thomas and the tribesn take him back to rest.

After seeing Michael return, the last ray of light in his eyes completely vanished.

"As expected..." he muttered in a low voice. His tall body could no longer hold up and crashed to the ground.

Michael hurriedly stepped forward to support his body, placing him on Eric’s half-collapsed heated brick bed.

With a hundred tangled emotions in his heart, Michael looked around at the chaos, his heart clenching more painfully by the second.

The clean room that Eric had carefully tended to had been half-destroyed by the fierce wind. The chili plants in the yard, which had been growing extrely well and bearing fruit frequently, were broken and fallen. The onions and garlic had been uprooted.

The tribesn were heavily injured. The only fortunate thing was that apart from Max and Galvin who were severely wounded, most other tribesn had rely fainted. The small beastn and Dwarves had luckily escaped disaster because they arrived a step late.

The cubs, without adults to lead them, wouldn’t wander far. Usually, they were near the brick kiln making bricks, playing while working.

Hearing the loud noise coming from this direction just now, everyone had rushed over in a hurry.

Leo ran at the front. He recognized that the place emitting such a loud noise was his ho. His heart beat so fast it was about to fly out, and he was so terrified his fur stood on end.

Until just now, he saw with his own eyes a person with wings flying out of his yard. Looking closely, it was Arthur, who loved to tag along behind his brother. And at that mont, his brother was in Arthur’s arms, being taken away by the winged Arthur.

The atmosphere in the Hadu tribe was steeped in gloom. The Dwarves who arrived later beat their chests and stomped their feet in regret and frustration. So Dwarves, hearing the news that the little patriarch had been kidnapped, nearly fainted.

The small beastn stepped forward to help in confusion, their hearts filled with panic. Life, which had just seen the dawn, seed to be covered by a thick dark cloud; hope could no longer be seen.

Apart from the sound of crying, no other sound could be heard in the entire tribe.

Luci, her face pale, looked at her son on the heated bed, then thought of Eric being taken away by the Dragon Race. She could no longer suppress the sorrow and anger in her heart. Feeling she had failed her late friend, she slumped beside Max and sobbed.

Leo took small steps into the courtyard.

Calling it a courtyard... he couldn’t believe this place was his ho. The courtyard walls and the big gate had collapsed. The flowers and vegetable trellises his brother loved lay scattered on the ground, the leaves covered in dust.

The heated bed he loved most - when he was free, he would transform into beast form with his brother and roll around on it to their heart’s content. If it were dayti, sunlight would shine through the glass window onto the bed, emitting a warm scent of sunshine.

Now... broken glass littered the ground. The iron fra of the window hung crookedly on the half-collapsed wall. Only a small half of the heated bed remained, and Max lay on it covered in blood.

Leo’s eyes grew wet. He stood there bewildered and dazed, not daring to go further.

He raised a paw to rub his eyes. Everything before him was unfamiliar, making him extrely afraid: "Brother, boo hoo hoo, where did you go?"

After confirming that everything in front of him was real, Leo recalled the scene he just saw. He cried loudly and ran off, intending to follow the direction Arthur left to find his brother.

Thomas heard the noise and hurriedly chased after him, grabbing the little golden lion who was struggling and running wildly.

"Don’t chase anymore, you can’t catch up anymore... Leo."

His heavy voice rang out. Leo couldn’t hold it back anymore and wailed, "You’re lying! I want to find my brother!"

The miserable, sharp crying made the hearts of the surrounding beastn and Dwarves even more sorrowful, yet they didn’t know how to comfort him. Having just lost a loved one, words always beca extrely pale.

"Leo." Luci staggered out of the house and took the cub from Thomas’s arms: "Don’t cry. We will definitely bring your brother back."

She tried to squeeze out a smile, but she didn’t know that her sorrow was written in her eyes, and her tears hadn’t even dried.

Leo had never seen the adults around him like this; he was both afraid and anxious.
