Eric liked a type of fruit very similar to a peach the most, only its color was brighter red. When cut open, the flesh was transparent pink and slled very fragrant; it would surely be excellent for making candied fruit.

The desserts made with Old Jack these past few days had a sweetness level suited to human tastes - sweet to the point Eric couldn’t swallow them. Therefore, he had greatly reduced the sugar in these cakes, keeping only the amount necessary to ensure the recipe’s success.

After all, in the past, he praised a dessert as delicious specifically because it "wasn’t too sweet."

Vietnase people in his previous life generally couldn’t eat sweets like foreigners. He didn’t know if it was due to the climate or history, but in short, whenever Eric saw those pastries with terrifying sugar content, he would get goosebumps.

He also didn’t know if the diabetes rate among foreigners was high; had they actually eaten so much that their bodies ford antibodies? Just like drinking ice water.

Eric happily ate a piece of cake first, then ate another cream-filled walnut bun. Although the taste wasn’t as good as Old Jack’s or Julia’s cooking, he felt it was delicious!

After all, both the fresh cream and the cake base were made by his own hands, absolutely free of any additives bad for health.

Moreover, this world had no pollution. The milk was thicker than the milk he used to drink, and the fresh cream and butter produced were also tastier.

Eric was eager to share with the tribesn. First, he cut a small piece of cake and a small piece of bread to bring to Henry in the house next door. He took the rest to the canteen along with the unused fresh cream and butter.

"Hey! Sorry to trouble you, open the door a bit. I brought you so cake and bread," Eric called out while holding the plate up, appearing outside Henry’s fence wall.

He sowhat understood the wall-climbing behavior of the tribesn. Clearly, a light jump was enough to get over, yet he could only hold onto the wall with one hand and call inside.

Fine then, who asked not to knock on the door.

Out of curiosity, he wanted to see what Henry was doing from the wall, but unexpectedly t the man’s gaze as he leisurely lay on a reclining chair reading a book. Only then did he greet him awkwardly.

Henry looked in surprise at the young beastman suddenly appearing outside the wall. He put down the parchnt scroll in his hand and stood up.

"Wait a mont."

Eric felt a bit shy. He scratched his head, jumped down from the wall, and entered through the opened courtyard gate.

"I just wanted to see if you were in the yard. I didn’t expect your eyes to be so good, spotting at a glance."

A smile blood on the handso face but didn’t reach the depths of his eyes. Henry said politely, "Thank you."

It was normal for humans to be wary of beastn, and beastn were the sa. Eric was only an exception because he was a human in his previous life.

Henry was the only true human in the tribe.

Although he wasn’t soone Eric was familiar with, and his living habits and way of speaking were all in the style of the other world, he was still a human. In Eric’s heart, there was a slight sense of closeness, like with a fellow countryman.

He didn’t stay long; fresh cream from animals couldn’t be kept for too long. Eric handed the plate of cake to Henry: "Then rember to eat it. The cream won’t taste good later. I’m leaving now."

"Alright, these snacks look delicious. Thank you for bringing them over," Henry said with a smile.

Eric waved his hand, his figure quickly disappearing from Henry’s sight.

Seeing this, the smile on Henry’s face gradually faded. He glanced indifferently at the plate in his hand, placed it expressionlessly on the table beside him, and had no intention of touching it.

In the canteen, everyone quickly divided up the cake and bread Eric brought.

In this era, sugar was very precious, and beastn were even less likely to exchange for it. Aside from thorn-beast honey and wild fruits, they basically had no chance to encounter sweets.

One could imagine how great a shock these snacks brought them.

Eric had just co out of Thomas and Luci’s house and was already used to the praise and complints.

Sam reluctantly licked the cream on his hand: "I was saying, why have I been slling sothing sweet lately? Turns out you were making these things. Today I finally got to eat them."

"I was testing these past few days and hadn’t mastered it yet. I was afraid of wasting food, so I made very little and didn’t bring it over," Eric explained.

The tribesn’s noses were sharper than police dogs; Eric hadn’t intended to hide his secret eating from them. It was just that he had only started making them a few days ago, and without Old Jack by his side to instruct him, he was afraid of wasting ingredients.

Arthur was also holding a piece of bread and eating. Recently, he had perford well, so Eric didn’t deliberately avoid him.

"Not quite sweet enough," he smacked his lips and said, "But very tasty. Tastier than all the snacks I’ve ever eaten."

Observing for a few days, Eric guessed this guy’s mory was almost recovered, if not fully.

The lifespan of the Dragon race was very long; who knew how many years Arthur had lived and how many delicious things he had eaten. Hearing him say this, Eric felt a bit embarrassed.

"Where is it that exaggerated? I just learned it."

Arthur finished the bread in a few bites, looking straight at Eric, his voice unconsciously carrying a hint of a smile: "What you make is the best."

"Cough cough cough!" Sam suddenly coughed loudly.

Attention imdiately shifted to Sam. Eric said worriedly, "Sam, I know you like eating cake, but you have to be careful. Choking on cake is quite a feat."

Sam was speechless for a mont, looking at Eric in silence.

Why is he usually so smart but unbelievably slow in this aspect? Even I can see Arthur’s feelings!

He glanced again at the surrounding tribesn who acted as if they knew nothing, rembering that Kevin and Uncle Thomas hadn’t noticed anything unusual at all, and sighed helplessly.

"Eric, these sweets you made are so delicious. Max will definitely be very happy when he returns," he said deliberately, glancing at Arthur.

Sure enough, hearing Max’s na, the smile on Arthur’s face also retracted.

Eric felt a bit sad.

Max had been gone for over a month and hadn’t returned yet. saying he didn’t miss him would be a lie.

"Sigh, I don’t know when he will be back. It’s so dangerous outside; there are more magic beasts than in winter."

Anna shared a piece of cake with herself, eating while speaking disdainfully:

"What could happen to him? Aren’t Michael and Grass with him too? They are the tribe’s most formidable warriors; don’t worry unnecessarily."

Phong stood beside her, looking helplessly at his mate. His mate was still the sa; clearly, she was worried for Eric in her heart, but the mont she opened her mouth, she spoke such harsh words.

Worrying wouldn’t help. Eric could only hide his anxiety in his heart.

He took out the egg beater, scanned everyone, and said with a smile:

"Everyone has tasted the flavor of the cake and bread, right? The most important ingredient for making these is milk. Does anyone want to learn with ? In the future, the tribe won’t lack desserts to eat."

The beastn working in the canteen definitely liked cooking. Iris and the other Dwarves had learned a bit about bread making in the human world before, so they all gathered around.

But they certainly didn’t know the troubleso work they were about to face...
