Arthur stood aside, crossing his arms in a huff.
He never directly refuted what Eric said. Even if he disagreed, he would just stand silently to the side, sulking by himself.
Eric finished packing the remaining soap. Seeing Arthur’s appearance, he smiled consolingly:
"We are selling wholesale to humans; one sale involves many kilograms. It’s just that right now our quantity isn’t large. For example, we can only sell them twenty bars of soap. If the potato vermicelli and mung bean vermicelli are mass-produced after autumn, we will definitely sell by the ton. It is common for humans to bargain."
"Moreover, they haven’t seen these before and don’t know how to eat them. They probably view potato vermicelli and mung bean vermicelli as a type of dry ration, food for ergencies. In that case, we certainly can’t sell them at a high price. We will make them a few dishes with potato vermicelli and mung bean vermicelli as the main ingredients. Once they taste them, they will know these two things can make many delicious dishes, and only then will they feel it is worth the money," Eric continued.
While his mouth consoled Arthur, his mind was quickly devising a nu, thinking of which dishes mainly used potato vermicelli and mung bean vermicelli. Once decided, he would take the ingredients over and cook for Corbin and the others to eat.
Arthur replied gloomily: "I don’t know business. They are buying the things you worked so hard to make at such a cheap price; I don’t think it’s worth it. Do you like gold coins?"
This question was a bit strange. Eric laughed and said:
"Who doesn’t like gold coins? I still have to take care of the whole tribe, with so many tribesn to feed. Beastn are poor as dirt; now that we have our own products, of course, earning as many gold coins as possible is best."
Since he had beco the patriarch, he naturally had to take good care of the tribesn, which also ant he had an obligation to lead them to a better life.
Aside from basic living standards, the economy also had to develop. Although Eric wasn’t an expert in this field, he had seen how things worked even if he hadn’t done them himself. In his previous life, he lived in a happy country. Although he didn’t pass the civil service exam, he had enjoyed a series of welfare policies.
Even just following the book could lead to achievents. If he couldn’t even copy the answers, then he would truly be a poor student. Eric asked himself, and he wasn’t that stupid.
Moreover, he had played many building gas. The current population of the tribe wasn’t even one-tenth of that in a ga. He could just treat it as completing missions in a ga, leading the tribesn to develop slowly.
Thinking of the simulation gas he used to play, and imagining the beastn turning into the tiny people in the ga, busily building houses, farming, and doing business, he suddenly felt that his tribesn had all beco adorable.
Eric was imrsed in his imagination and almost laughed out loud.
"Oh my god, you almost scared to death. Why are you leaning in so close?" The smile was still hanging on Eric’s lips.
He was planning to go to the storage room to get so cooking spices. When he turned his head, he was startled by Arthur’s face leaning in right next to him.
Arthur, looking slightly awkward with a strange expression, took a step back before speaking:
"If you like gold coins, I can give them all to you. I don’t want to see you working so hard all the ti."
This sentence sounded very familiar. He might have seen it in so domineering CEO novel; the plot could be called [The Domineering CEO Keeps ]...
Eric waved his hand, dispelling the ssy thoughts in his head: "Have you recovered your mory?"
"No, I just feel that if I really am a dragon, I definitely have a lot of treasure. Otherwise, why would I always dream of sleeping on a pile of gold coins? Didn’t you say you like gold coins? My gold coins can all be given to you," Arthur replied honestly.
Eric felt extrely comforted and guilty for his imagination just now.
This wasn’t a domineering CEO keeping him; this was clearly his son growing up and knowing how to repay him.
"Alright, I know you an well, but getting sothing for nothing isn’t good. Besides, the population of the Hadu tribe will definitely expand in the future. Your gold coins will eventually be used up. You should just keep the gold coins to use as a bed."
Arthur did not refute anymore, but in his heart, he secretly thought that if the gold coins ran out, he could go rob so...
"Alright, help move the goods. The toilet paper I have here is old stock from last year. Go to the paper factory and tell them to bring out all the remaining toilet paper and move it to the rchant group’s campsite."
Eric didn’t see the thoughts in Arthur’s heart and unceremoniously directed him to work.
After Arthur diligently went to move the goods, Eric bustled about the house alone, packing a lot of spices and usable at and vegetables, then carried a large bag toward the human camp.
After walking a few ters, he thought of sothing and quickly ran to the Dwarves’ place.
Henry had followed his instructions, leading several Dwarves and carefully selected beastn to build houses for the upcoming residents.
Eric skillfully found a small bottle of white wine carefully stored in Bruno’s room and put it in his bag.
His remaining conscience was aching slightly.
Eric touched his nose. The sorghum wine would be finished fernting in a few days anyway. When it was ready, he would just leave a bit more for Bruno. The white wine in his house was all gone, so he had to find so for the humans to taste first.
Eric sneaked out of the Dwarves’ residence and happened to run into Sunflower, who was wandering around with nothing to do.
Sunflower raised his eyebrows and said to Eric with interest: "Little Patriarch, what are you doing? Where are you going with so much stuff?"
The air slled faintly of fresh at and mixed spices. Sunflower sniffed:
"You even brought food. A cub is indeed a cub; you don’t forget to bring food wherever you go. Are you planning to go play?"
"These are goods I prepared for the human rchant group," Eric said, feeling a bit speechless.
"The Halun rchant group cos to trade with beastn every autumn. Why did they co so early this year? I didn’t see anyone from the rchant group on the way here. Did their route change this year?" Sunflower asked suspiciously.
The Halun rchant group ca to the Illusionary Dream Continent to trade every year like clockwork. Their trading volu with the Golden Kingdom was particularly large, and the coastline was basically guarded by the kingdom.
In previous years, when the Halun rchant group ca to the Illusionary Dream Continent, their first stop was the Golden Kingdom. But this year, Sunflower hadn’t heard any movent and had no idea the rchant group had arrived so early.
Eric explained simply to him:
"Last year, we had a prior agreent with the rchant group, so they ca very early after spring arrived. I heard they were delayed by a tsunami on the way; otherwise, they would have arrived a few days earlier."
Sunflower nodded, guessing in his heart that this Hadu tribe wasn’t as simple as it looked. Although the surface didn’t look simple either - at least the personnel composition was already very complex.
But their true capability was definitely not as weak as it appeared now. He was very familiar with the Halun rchant group. It wasn’t an exaggeration to say they wouldn’t wake up early without profit. If the Hadu tribe didn’t have enough value to move them, the shrewd old president of the Halun rchant group would absolutely not expend so much effort.
Could it be that the kingdom’s trade of beastman slaves with Victor had been exposed?
