"I have thought it through carefully. Since the Dwarves ca to our tribe, they have indeed helped a lot. Moreover, I have thought about this matter very thoroughly; it’s not just to help the Dwarves, but also to let my tribespeople have a better life."

Thomas explained seriously to the few people. Before making this decision, he had also struggled a lot, even staying awake for several nights, discussing it with Luci before making up his mind.

Bi and Tribe Leader Kun saw Thomas’s serious expression, knowing this was what he thought from the bottom of his heart. Both of them wanted to object but didn’t know where to start.

Especially Bi. Initially, their Ox-Head Tribe also wanted to keep the Dwarves, not just to shelter them, but the Dwarves’ craftsmanship was truly one-of-a-kind. Unfortunately...

He and Tribe Leader Kun looked at each other. Just as they were about to ntion the Elf Tribe and the Golden Kingdom, an Ox-Head Tribe mber burst in from the door.

"Bi! That little cub agreed to let us use the flour grinding tool! I checked, the flour they grind is much finer than ours!"

The Ox-Head Tribe mber with the curly horns shouted excitedly. Swept by Bi’s helpless gaze, his voice gradually quieted down.

Being interrupted by him like that, the serious atmosphere instantly vanished.

Thomas put his hands out and clapped Bi and Tribe Leader Kun on their shoulders:

"You don’t need to worry. There aren’t many Dwarves in the Du tribe. ’They’ probably won’t wage war against us over this. Joseph and I have discussed it; the Dwarves of the Du tribe will not reduce taxes, and will still forge double the number of weapons for ’them’ as they do every year."

Who "they" referred to, everyone present understood in their hearts.

Seeing that Thomas had truly thought it through, Tribe Leader Kun could only shake his head helplessly.

"If you’ve already decided, I won’t try to persuade you anymore. But if you really encounter danger, we will definitely not spare any effort to help you."

Thomas clasped arms with him; everything was understood without needing to be said.

"In that case, I will go back and report to Tribe Leader Tu." Bi stood up and said, looking at Thomas.

"Oh right, there’s one more thing I forgot to say. After we beca the Hadu tribe, neither I nor Joseph are tribe leaders anymore. The new tribe leader has also co this ti, he’s right outside. His na is Eric."

Suddenly rembering sothing he hadn’t said, Thomas added.

The expressions of everyone present froze.

"What? Did I hear wrong? You let a beast cub be the tribe leader?" Kun pointed outside the door, asking in an incredulous tone.

In the room, whether it was the people from Kun’s tribe, or Bi and the curly-horned Ox-Head person who had just run in, all fixed their eyes on Thomas, waiting for his confirmation.

The Ox-Head person’s eyes were already large, and now, due to excessive shock, his ox-eyes widened completely.

"Although Eric is young, he is the smartest person in our tribe! The baked cakes you ate were researched and made by him. They’re much more delicious than your black bread!"

When ntioning Eric, Thomas was even more proud than when speaking of his own son, smiling so wide his teeth showed.

Speaking of Eric, Joseph also temporarily set aside the worries in his heart and nodded in agreent.

"Eric is indeed very smart. Many of his ideas have helped us a lot. If he weren’t a Snow Wolf, we would all suspect he was an emissary of the God of Forging."

If only Thomas alone said Eric was smart, those present would still be half-believing, half-doubting.

But for the Dwarves to give such a high evaluation made it impossible for them not to believe. Especially since Joseph even ntioned the God of Forging; this is the Dwarves’ most noble faith, and their tribe’s na is also related to this god. From this, one could see the importance they placed on Eric.

Bi was also hesitant: "No wonder you brought a beast cub this year. Is he really as smart as you say?"

"Could it be that the flour grinding tool was made by him? If so, then he is indeed very smart!"

The curly-horned Ox-Head person beside them thought of his purpose for coming in and shook his ox-head, showing his approval.

Bi also rembered that when this guy burst in, he was indeed shouting sothing about grinding flour. At this mont, his curiosity was also piqued, and he stepped out of the room.

Everyone followed him outside. They saw a large wooden board placed outside the door, where several Snow Wolf people were following that cub to learn how to wrap sothing.

Even the reddish-brown Ox-Head Tribe mber waiting outside was squatting down to do it with them.

His thick, wide fingers found this delicate work extrely difficult, yet he was enjoying it imnsely, occasionally mocking the Snow Wolf person beside him for not doing as well as he did.

"This one was just a slip of my hand! The next one will definitely be better than yours!" a Snow Wolf warrior shouted.

The Ox-Head Tribe mber showed off the perfectly round, untorn ball of dough in his hand, smugly snorting a puff of white air from his two large nostrils.

Eric gave him a thumbs-up. Although he had never seen this gesture before, the Ox-Head Tribe mber knew it was praise, and beca even more smug, wagging his ox-tail.

Michael looked at the other Snow Wolf people with disappointed eyes; they were actually worse than the Ox-Head Tribe mber, it was infuriating.

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but silently admire Max, who had not participated in the competition and instead chose to stand by the iron pan, responsible for flipping the cakes.

The "sizzle" of the cakes in the pan sounded, and the fragrance spread. Many beastn would probably be unable to sleep tonight. The suffering their Snow Wolf people had endured was finally being tasted by the other beastn.

The golden-brown cakes were scooped onto a plate by Max using a long iron spatula. Max took a hot cake for Eric, who was busy with his hands covered in flour. Seeing Eric didn’t have a free hand, he personally held the cake and fed him.

The freshly made cake had a crispy crust and a juicy at filling. Taking a bite was extrely satisfying.

Eric munched away like a little hamster, giving Max a grateful smile.
