Chapter 152: Failed Plan
The next morning, Qiu Tong packed her things and prepared to leave, but she could feel several pairs of eyes burning into her.
She casually turned to look and saw Little Yu huddled on the sofa, holding a children’s book to shield her eyes. She looked a little guilty.
Qiu Tong found it strange, but she continued packing and turned to Song Yan to confirm the necessary weapons and communication devices.
Qiu Xingyu and Qiu Xingqiao exchanged glances. She bit her lips and jumped off the sofa, pretending that her legs had gone limp and she had fallen.

Qiu Tong hurried over to Little Yu’s side and lifted her trouser leg to check if her ankle was seriously injured. She cautioned her. “Be more careful in the future. Otherwise, you might get injured and get a scar! That won’t be pretty anymore!”
Little Yu blinked and pretended to reach for a glass cup on the coffee table, but her hand slipped and she shattered the cup.
Glass fragnts scattered all over the ground. Qiu Tong frowned and picked up Little Yu, moving her to a safe place.

Little Yu hugged Qiu Tong’s neck tightly and pleaded coquettishly, “Mommy, don’t leave , okay?”
Qiu Tong didn’t understand her hint and thought that she couldn’t bear to part with her. She helplessly carried her to the bathroom. “Little Yu, be good.”
“Mommy will be back after settling the riot in the neighboring city. Be good and stay at ho. Don’t run around.”
Qiu Tong wiped the corners of Little Yu’s eyes with a wet towel. She then helped her to brush her teeth and wash her face.
The two of them ca out of the washroom. Little Yu gave Qiu Xingyuan a aningful look and pouted. She mouthed, “Plan A failed!”
Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao looked at each other in dismay. They did not expect Qiu Tong to not even ntion bringing them along.
Qiu Xingqiao gently nudged Qiu Xingyuan with his shoulder to let him carry out the second plan.
Qiu Xingyuan did not know how to act coquettishly or show weakness. He frowned and walked awkwardly towards Qiu Tong. He raised his small, cold face and asked, “That bad woman Lin Shan already knows where we live. And they know that if the power source is cut, the electric fence around the villa will be completely ineffective.”

“If she and the other bad guys work together to take revenge, we will be in danger.”
Qiu Tong looked at his evasive gaze and mistook Qiu Xingyuan for being worried about the villa’s security asures. She pointed at Ke Le and the rcenaries who were repairing the doors and windows and said, “Uncle Ke Le will protect you. Everything will be fine.”
Qiu Xingyuan widened his eyes in surprise. He opened his mouth several tis but did not say anything. He just pursed his thin lips and stood stubbornly in front of Qiu Tong.
Ye Luan ca out of the bedroom with a glass of water in his hand and quietly watched the children’s actions.
He leaned against the shoe cabinet near the entrance and suddenly chuckled. “Auntie Qiu, don’t you realize that they are just pretending to be helpless, so that you will worry and can bring them along to the neighboring city?”
“Or should I say… it’s a sign of insecurity when children can’t bear to be separated from their mother.”
Ye Luan had exposed the children’s plan. Qiu Xingqiao clenched his fists and glared at him. He said angrily, “You don’t have to be such a busybody. You’re always so nosy!”
