Qin Yuan peeped inside through the gap in the battered wooden door.
It was pitch black inside, and he couldn’t see anything.
At this mont, Qin Yuan felt puzzled. According to Lu Ming’s description, this was supposed to be a heavily guarded place. Why were the lights off, and why was it so quiet?
“Wasn’t it said that this place is heavily guarded? Why do I see no lights inside, and why is it so quiet?”

Weiwei looked confused, then leaned in to peer inside.
Afterward, her face showed a very puzzled expression.
“Before, I saw that the inside was brightly lit! Why is it so quiet now?”
Weiwei said, frowning.
“Could it be that our actions have been discovered?”

That was when Qin Yuan, narrowing his eyes, spoke.
He continued looking inside and said:

Qin Yuan was certain that the sound of wind was emanating from nearby.
“Have you found it?”
Weiwei followed and asked.

After Qin Yuan confird, he took out a flashlight from his body, turned it on, and carefully inspected the vicinity.
The floor was one large garbage bin, and the walls and floors around it were made of stone. An initial examination did not reveal any secret passages or the like.
“Strange, is it here?”
Weiwei wondered aloud.
“I’m quite sure. They love this old trick of hiding gold in secret chambers, and I’ve found secret passages in places like this several tis before.”
“If there’s a sound of wind coming from inside, there must be a trail to follow.”
Qin Yuan said with certainty.
“Could it be behind the stone?”

Weiwei nodded thoughtfully,
and began to look for sothing resembling a switch in the vicinity.
“Don’t overlook any stone slab; check each one. The chanism is likely hidden within.”
Qin Yuan was not idle either; the two divided the work, each covering a specific area, and began a systematic search.
After searching for a while, several minutes passed, but still, they found nothing.

Could the switch not be nearby?

The garbage bin was an object separate from the structure; the switch couldn’t be inside it. If every inch inside this house had been searched,
then the only possibility left was outside this room.
