Gu Yan struggled to escape his arms and said, “Your clothes are covered in snow. Take it off. Otherwise, it is going to lt here.”
Lu Ye looked down, only to realize he left quite a few footprints on the polished floor.
He quickly took off his shoes and stepped on the ground barefoot just like that.
Gu Yan was speechless. “Won’t your feet get cold?”
“I made the ground dirty.”
“I can just clean it again.” Gu Yan went to retrieve the mop from the bathroom. She quickly reminded, “Take off your clothes, Ye, and warm yourself up next to the fire. Don’t catch a cold.”
Lu Ye seed to be in a trance for a mont. It was all because of Gu Yan’s familiar and gentle tone. It even sounded as though they were an old couple.
The light in the room glead, landing softly on Gu Yan’s skin. Her already attractive face beca gilded with a warm layer of golden light.
They were already dating, but at this mont, Lu Ye felt his heart was missing a beat.
For the first ti, he reacted slowly. He took off his jacket and hung it on the door. He dropped his backpack at the corner too.
Then, he walked into the bedroom closet and wore his slippers.
Lu Ye was planning to grab a sweater from inside. He turned around and saw the neat bed with the quilt folded perfectly.
The lamp beside the study desk emitted a soft light.
The table was filled with books, practice tests, and the scent of fountain pen ink.
There was even so kind of fragrance in the air that was very faint but very sweet.
Everything was so simple, but sohow, there was a genuine feeling of warmth.
Gu Yan had cleaned the floor and patted off the snow from Lu Ye’s jacket.
She busied around for a while but noticed there was no movent from Lu Ye in the room. Gu Yan ward up his clothes while asking, “Ye, what’s wrong?”
“No, nothing.” Lu Ye quickly took out the sweater and then changed into different trousers.
When he ca out, he saw Gu Yan sitting in front of the fire cauldron with a pot. There was sothing cooking inside.
anwhile, Gu Yan was drying his jacket.
Lu Ye sighed.
He found that each minute, he would have the urge to rush and marry the girl before him.
Now, he didn’t want to wait a single minute.
Yet, he couldn’t actually do so.
It greatly annoyed him.
Lu Ye walked over and sat on the stool next to her. He asked, “What are you cooking? It slls quite nice.”
“Preserved at soup noodles. There is so cabbage too. It is comfort for the stomach to eat this at night.” Gu Yan added so more water and looked up. “There are also frozen preserved vegetable and at dumplings outside. If the noodles aren’t enough, we will cook so dumplings later.”
“Just throw it in this pot and cook it together. It is easier.” Lu Ye sniffed, feeling quite hungry. “Bai Changle brought this stuff?”
Lu Ye looked around. He had stayed here for a few months and knew every corner well.
He noticed a lot of new additions in the small living room. Plus, he saw more things placed on the window stand when he returned.
Bai Changle was quite a diligent kid.
