Watching his dog being blasted away by Wu Ya with a single move, Wang Mang suddenly had the notion that this was ant to be.

Yet deep down, sothing felt amiss.

After his gaze lingered on Wu Ya, Wang Mang slowly asked,

"What has happened during my seclusion?"

"I seem to have vaguely sensed so disturbances."

Hearing this, Wu Ya’s expression flickered, but only for an instant; Wang Mang did not notice.

He smiled slightly, confusedly asking,

"What disturbances?"

"It’s probably just the uproar from the Chaos. Speaking of which, the formation mastery around this courtyard hasn’t been maintained for quite a long ti."

"Let’s not talk about this for now; I’m going to stabilize the barrier formations surrounding the courtyard."

After speaking, he soared into the air.

Watching his figure, Wang Mang frowned slightly.

He had a feeling that they were hiding sothing from him.

Oh well.

Casting aside these superfluous thoughts, a smile also appeared on Wang Mang’s face.

The reason was nothing else; he had not only achieved breakthroughs in the Tou She Ancient God during this seclusion.

Moreover, the fusion between several original divinity forces within his body and the Devouring Dao Rhy had reached a new stage.

Employing his perception, he could distinctly notice that the previous supre Dao runes had vanished.

For now, the primal divinity forces that were evolving into supre Dao runes seed to have returned to their original phase. They lacked the power of the supre characteristics but were profoundly mystical.

Wang Mang did not know how to describe this form of power.

It seed like it encompassed everything yet was sowhat different.

It was hard to specifically articulate, yet intuitively, this sensation was conveyed.

It was cloudy and indistinct, veiled in mist.

Based on his current observation, the Devouring Dao Rhy seed to have gained sothing extra and was still rging with the primal divine forces.

However, upon closer inspection, Wang Mang felt the fusion had reached a standstill.

Incredibly strange.

Exiting the observation state, Wang Mang, as if possessed, glanced upward.

His heart couldn’t calm down for a long ti.

All these changes went unnoticed by him.

It seed destined, both coincidental and inevitable.

With the system, the more he progressed, the more he felt driven by forces beyond his control.

"A puppet on strings, perhaps?"

Wang Mang furrowed his brows tightly, clenching his fists involuntarily.

After a mont, he took a deep breath and released the Devouring Dao Rhy.

Instantly, the abyssal black Devouring Dao Rhy surged out of his body.

The eerie, ominous aura, like solidifying ice, caused a sudden drop in the surrounding temperature.

Whispers, faint yet present, lingered around Wang Mang.

Controlling a strand of Devouring Dao Rhy to float in front of him, Wang Mang began to observe it carefully.

In terms of color, it was still the consistent pitch black.

However, it looked quite different from before.

Previously, it just felt utterly dark, like ink.

Now, it appeared as though one was peering into the abyss.

It gave off a bottomless, profound feeling.

A trace of unfathomable mystery was contained within it, not discovered by Wang Mang.

"Is this change for better or for worse?" Wang Mang murmured worriedly.

After all, having utilized several supre Dao runes, he knew full well their formidable strength.

Distoring reality, absolutely powerful, unlimited strength.

Previously, his ability to fight across major realms was primarily reliant on those supre powers.

Now that such powers had completely disappeared, he naturally felt a sense of gain and loss.

Even though, within the Chaos, the supre powers had been weakened to the extre.

Still, it was undeniable that, aside from them, other powers might not be as strong in the Chaos.

The Chaos is truly bizarre for it can weaken the supre powers.

Those were the powers of the Creator God!

For a while, Wang Mang thought of many things.

There was joy and worry in his heart.

However, the most concerning thing was still the unknown changes in the few forces within his body.

Alas, he could only watch helplessly as abnormalities occurred within his body, unable to stop them.

He asked the system, and the answer he always got was, "Insufficient authority."

In the past, the system was like omnipotent, knowing everything, capable of anything, under certain circumstances.

But since arriving in the second ring of the universe, unknown things had beco more frequent.

Especially recently, it was almost always "insufficient authority."

Not knowing was just not knowing, but why "insufficient authority"?

Or did it know but chose not to tell him?

Did this imply that there was a higher authority above the system?

His recent series of changes were inseparably linked to that manipulator.

Thus, the answer he received was "insufficient authority."

The mont this thought appeared, Wang Mang almost imdiately confird his suspicions were right on the mark.

All signs had a traceable origin; all the changes were overly unknown.

He was rely a user of the system; so what was he to the system?

A host? A carrier? A cultivator...

Many thoughts, like shooting stars, left a deep impression in Wang Mang’s mind.

At the sa ti, Wang Mang’s wariness towards the system had reached its peak.

Given the recent situations and the system’s behavior, it shouldn’t be too long before everything ca to light.

He had to prepare himself.

Otherwise, the day when his most relied-upon system turned against him, he would have nowhere to even cry.

While Wang Mang was deep in thought, the barking of a dog suddenly assaulted his ears.

He saw the dog limping into the courtyard.

Grumbling angrily:

"Damn Wu Ya, being rough without restraint."

"You’d better never sleep."

Outside the courtyard, Wu Ya, who was pretending to maintain the formation mastery, instantly darkened his face.

This damn dog.

Seeing the disheveled dog, Wang Mang suddenly thought of sothing.

He grabbed it.

Still hurling insults at Wu Ya’s family toward the void, the dog imdiately beca docile.

Looking at the dog with a sheepish grin, Wang Mang asked expressionlessly:

"Tell all of your mories and everything you know."

Hearing this, the dog’s smile froze, and its heartbeat secretly quickened.

"What are you talking about, Master?"

Facing Wang Mang’s gaze, it tentatively asked.

The latter’s gaze was fixed tightly on it as he said blandly:

"Every mory in your mind, rember, everything."

The dog was born in Chaos; were the initial mories instilled by the system also starting from Chaos?

Having such a suspicion, Wang Mang naturally wanted to get it clear.

After all, he knew very little about Chaos, and the all-knowing system had also malfunctioned.

At this mont, the already limited brain capacity of the dog was flooded with countless mories.

But they quickly disappeared again.

This caused it to forget what it was just about to say.

After a mont, it finally spoke slowly:

"There are countless chaotic creatures in Chaos, and also..."

The dog described many images in its mind.

But the more Wang Mang listened, the more irritated he beca.

He essentially already knew this content.

There was no need to hear it again.

"Anything else?"

Wang Mang asked urgently.
