For the next three days, Ethan settled into a routine.

Every morning, he studied.

Every afternoon, he observed his world.

Every evening, he experinted with his Origin System.

The more he learned, the more he realized how little he actually knew.

The path of a Creator was far deeper than any textbook could explain.

At the sa ti, his world continued developing.

Not dramatically.

Not yet.

But it was changing.

The sprites had begun establishing habits.

The Water Sprite spent most of its ti around the spring.

The Fire Sprite constantly explored new areas.

The Earth Sprite gathered stones and piled them together.

The Air Sprite preferred acting as a lookout from the treetops.

Even the Elentless Sprites had started organizing themselves into groups.

It wasn't intelligence.

At least not true intelligence.

More like instinct.

The instinct to build.

The instinct to survive.

The instinct to grow.

And every small improvent increased the developnt of the world.

Slowly.

Steadily.

Exactly as it should.

One evening, Ethan was reviewing information on the Origin Association when he discovered sothing interesting.

Creators could purchase environntal additions.

Special terrains.

Unique resources.

Rare ecosystems.

Anything beyond basic terrain editing.

A creator could shape rivers and forests with Origin Energy.

But if they wanted sothing special, they had to buy it.

The prices varied enormously.

So cost a few hundred credits.

Others cost millions.

Most were completely beyond Ethan's reach.

Then he found a beginner section.

His eyes imdiately lit up.

Young creators frequently purchased starter environnts to accelerate the growth of their worlds.

The options weren't spectacular.

But they were affordable.

More importantly, they were useful.

One particular listing caught his attention.

Elental Stone Cluster

A naturally occurring collection of elental stones capable of slowly attracting ambient elental energy.

Price: 500 Origin Credits.

Ethan stared at the description.

Then read it again.

It wasn't a powerful treasure.

It wasn't a miracle resource.

But it was clearly designed for beginner Elental Worlds.

He opened his interface.

Origin Credits: 1,200 CR

Enough to afford it.

The question was whether he should.

Half of his funds would disappear imdiately.

The university competition was approaching.

Every resource mattered.

After nearly ten minutes of thinking, he made his decision.

Investnt.

A civilization couldn't grow without investnt.

The next morning, Ethan headed directly to the Origin Association.

The building was much busier than before.

Young creators filled the halls.

Many were purchasing resources.

Others were registering for training worlds.

Everyone was trying to improve before recruitnt season.

After finding the appropriate counter, Ethan submitted his order.

The employee raised an eyebrow.

"Elental Stone Cluster?"

"Yes."

The woman nodded.

"Popular choice."

A few monts later, five hundred credits vanished from his account.

Origin Credits: 700 CR

A small crystal box was handed to him.

The object inside looked ordinary.

Several fist-sized stones rested within the container.

Yet faint traces of colored light occasionally flickered across their surfaces.

The employee smiled.

"Add them near a naturally active elental area."

Ethan imdiately thought of the spring.

"Thanks."

He left the Association and hurried ho.

The mont he entered his room, he connected to his world.

The familiar forest appeared.

The spring shimred peacefully beneath the sunlight.

Dozens of sprites were gathered nearby.

Without hesitation, Ethan opened the deploynt option.

The crystal box appeared above the spring.

The sprites imdiately noticed it.

Curious little creatures rushed toward the object.

Then the box opened.

Five stones fell onto the ground.

One glowed faintly blue.

One red.

One yellow.

One green.

The final stone contained a mixture of several colors.

The mont they landed, sothing changed.

Tiny particles of light began drifting through the air.

The spring itself seed slightly brighter.

The Water Sprite approached the blue stone.

The Fire Sprite imdiately claid the red one.

The Air Sprite sat beside the green stone.

The Earth Sprite naturally chose the yellow stone.

Ethan watched everything carefully.

The change wasn't dramatic.

But it was noticeable.

The environnt felt more alive.

More elental.

More suitable for his civilization.

A notification appeared.

World Developnt Increased.

Ethan's eyes widened.

That was it.

Just four words.

No numbers.

No detailed explanation.

But it confird what he suspected.

His investnt had worked.

The Elental Stone Cluster wasn't rely decoration.

It had genuinely improved his world.

Below, the sprites continued gathering around the stones.

The Fire Sprite sat cross-legged beside its chosen stone, staring at it with complete concentration.

For the first ti in days, it wasn't running around.

Ethan laughed.

That alone might have been worth five hundred credits.

Then his gaze shifted toward the Synthesis tab.

The world was improving.

His civilization was growing.

And his resources were slowly increasing.

Sooner or later...

he would have enough System Points for a second synthesis.

And when that day ca, he would discover what happened when a sprite carried more than one elent.

The thought alone was enough to make him excited.

Because deep down, Ethan felt certain of one thing.

The real power of Synthesis had not yet revealed itself.
