Ray sighed, as usual.
There was no confirmation—no response of any kind.
The system remained completely unresponsive, ignoring his attempts to communicate with it.
Frustrated, he simply sat there in silence.
Then, he began modifying the system through his will. Now that he had reached Tier Thirteen, he stood at the very threshold of becoming a Universal being—just a step away.
More importantly, he could now absorb fate through the divine tree.
However, Ray was far from satisfied.
Reaching godhood wasn't sothing that could be achieved so easily. It required ticulous preparation, and fate energy alone was not enough.
He could sense it—this energy was powerful, but not enough to truly ascend. Godhood demanded sothing far greater.
Unlike the universal beings of his universe, godhood granted true control over the laws of existence.
It could be just fire or ice, or everything that emitted light or every color in the world….
Technically, his body had beco composed of the laws of the universe, and by that standard, he could claim to have reached godhood. After all, he could control the laws, and his power far exceeded that of the universal beings.
But in terms of cultivation, he had only reached Tier Thirteen.

Ray sighed and began absorbing the fate energy of the entire world.

Ray also noticed that among all his won, the one from the Devil Dao offered him the most fate energy—even more than Freya, Vanessa, Evelyn, and the others.
He believed this wasn't because they trusted him more, but because they saw him as their god, with their entire bodies and souls devoted to him.
Even when he was with these won, they didn't seek their own pleasure. Instead, they focused solely on satisfying him. It was quite the feeling and he was also satisfied with it.
"A cult, huh? Maybe I should create one and find a way to harvest more energy like this."
Ray had discovered that emotions were a form of energy stronger than any other.
Even Mutation Energy carried faint traces of emotions like greed, destruction, and ego.
This was likely due to the nature of war, but he also realized that he hadn't fully explored his own genetic origins.
Whenever he considered delving deeper, his instincts scread in warning of danger that was beyond his capability.
For a person of his level, this instinct was almost akin to predicting the future.
As he sat cross-legged, the fate-energy, like a stream of intertwining strings, began to flow into his divine tree.
With every string, the tree grew stronger and stronger.
Ray could feel his power increasing at an incredible rate. He also seized this mont to study the laws and principles of this world.
A world was imnsely vast in its laws; to put it into perspective, the amount of laws Ray had learned barely touched 0.01% of its entirety.
But now, everything seems more accessible.
Not only was his body made of these very laws, but his life level had also elevated, enhancing both his understanding and comprehension.
The law of rebirth, the law of equilibrium, the law of reality, the law of restoration, the law of strength…
There were countless laws to count, each with its own sub-laws, and even more intricacies beneath them.
For a ti, Ray remained in seclusion above the divine tree, his gaze sweeping over the entire expanse of his world.
What seed like a decade passed, and finally, he snapped his eyes open. He looked unchanged, yet there was sothing different about him—his temperant now exuded wisdom.
His eyes held a gaze that suggested nothing could surprise him, as if the world itself had beco his playground.
In the next mont, he vanished, only to appear in front of the Devil Dao won.

They imdiately collapsed to the ground, prostrating with their heads bowed.
"Lord." They echoed in unison.
"Hmm." Ray nodded as he walked up to the leading woman.
"Yi Xiang, are you fine?"
"Lord." Yi Xiang's eyes were filled with fanaticism and love as she spoke, deeply moved.
"Can you spread the teachings of your cult to everyone?" Ray asked, his tone casual but firm.
"Yes." She agreed without hesitation.
"I am going to establish this cult as the single religion that everyone must follow. You will be the priestess of them all."
Her cheeks flushed, and a crazed expression crossed her face. "Thank you, milord."
"Hmm." Ray nodded again before disappearing in an instant.
He had given all the instructions needed, and now it was up to her abilities to see if she could create the cult as he envisioned.
After spending so ti with his woman, Ray finally erged from his world.
Imdiately, the sounds of clashing and fighting echoed through the river of ti.
"I wonder what is happening?" he thought curiously, tightening his fist. The laws began to converge toward his hand, and Ray opened his mouth to devour them.
With a surge of power, he absorbed not only the laws but also the mories of everything that had occurred. As he sorted through this newfound knowledge, the corner of his lips gradually curled upward.
"Turns out the Heavenly Dao and the Gods shook hands with the Demon God to try to kill but couldn't find . In desperation, they attacked all the universal beings, and now the battle is getting more and more intense."
Even with superior strength, wiping out all the Universal beings was no easy feat. Even Ray wasn't confident he could do it without exhausting every last bit of his strength.
He didn't go there, though. Instead, he sought sothing else.
"Our dear main character, how is he?"
