Chapter 531: Chapter 256 Capital Headquarters, Gift from Heaven: Ti Book [10,000 words]_4

Mu Rufeng quickly looked around, but he couldn’t tell where the voice was coming from.

“Mu Rufeng, how about leaving this notebook at our headquarters?” Ye Lin, the head of the Capital headquarters, spoke.

“No problem,” Mu Rufeng nodded.

After all, aside from containing information, the notebook wasn’t really useful for anything else. He had morized its contents anyway, so giving it away wasn’t a big deal.

“This information is very useful to . As for other matters, let’s talk about them later. Tian Youdao, please bring Mu Rufeng to the Ti Book Room,” Ye Lin said.

“Okay, Director,” Tian Youdao responded.

“Let’s go to the Ti Book Room.”

“The Ti Book Room, what is it for?” Mu Rufeng asked.

“You’ll know once you get there. In the headquarters, only three people are allowed to enter. You will be the fourth,” Tian Youdao explained.

Tian Lin stood by, wanting to say sothing, but hearing Tian Youdao say this, he promptly kept quiet.

Only three people in the headquarters had access—obviously who they were goes without saying. Mu Rufeng was the fourth, but could he be the fifth? Clearly, it was impossible at the mont.

Tian Youdao led Mu Rufeng back to the elevator.

After swiping a card, the elevator went directly to the eighteenth basent level.

As he stepped out of the elevator, Mu Rufeng sensed the heavy ghost qi perating the air.

If not for the fact that he knew this was the real world, he might have thought he had entered the Mysterious World.

It was an exceptionally lavish corridor, deserted, without even surveillance caras present.

When they reached the end of the corridor, a massive door blocked their way.

Above the door, there was a golden plaque engraved with the words “Ti Book.”

The door slowly opened, Tian Youdao entered first, and Mu Rufeng imdiately followed.

Once inside the room, the intensity of the ghost qi increased another level.

The room wasn’t very big, just about a hundred square ters.

The decor was rather modern. In the center, there was a huge pedestal with a massive book floating above it, emanating a misty glow.

Around the room were sofas, desks, bookshelves, and even a bed.

To the uninitiated, it looked like soone’s bedroom.

“Have you arrived?” A young man about twenty-eight or twenty-nine years old stood up from the sofa and looked at Mu Rufeng.

“Director,” Tian Youdao called out.

“Hello, Director, I am Mu Rufeng,” Mu Rufeng quickly greeted the head of the headquarters.

He had initially thought the head of the headquarters would be an elderly or at least middle-aged person, but it turned out to be a young man.

“Where’s the notebook? Let see it,” another person on the sofa stood up and spoke to Mu Rufeng.

“And you are…?” Mu Rufeng guessed who the man was but pretended not to recognize him.

“I’m the Deputy Director Han Chen,” Han Chen spoke in a cold voice.

Han Chen was older, his hair graying, face full of wrinkles, a stark contrast to Tian Youdao and Ye Lin, almost like a grandparent to them.

“I’m sorry, the notebook is no longer with . You might want to ask Director Tian,” Mu Rufeng politely said.

“Director Tian, let have a look.”

Tian Youdao, without saying much, took out the notebook and threw it to Han Chen.

The latter didn’t bother with them anymore and sat back down on the sofa to start reading.

“What do you want to know?” Ye Lin suddenly asked.

“I want to know if the Mysterious World is really like what’s described in the notebook, and if the Mysterious World fully descends into the real world,”

“Will the final outco be the sa as the ending described in the notebook?” Mu Rufeng asked.

Ye Lin pondered for a mont and said, “It’s sowhat similar, but the descent of the Mysterious World into the real world won’t lead to the outco described in the notebook.”

“If you want to know sothing, you can go to the book area and look through it yourself, it contains quite a lot of information you might want to know.”

“After you’re done, if you have any more questions, you can ask the Ti Book yourself,” Ye Lin indicated towards the bookshelf and then addressed the Ti Book.

“Ti Book?” Mu Rufeng looked at the floating massive book, and then said, “May I check its attributes?”

“Of course,” Ye Lin said with a smile.

Mu Rufeng, with permission granted, imdiately stepped forward and touched the Ti Book.

“Ti Book… it descended from the sky?” Mu Rufeng looked at Ye Lin in surprise.

“Indeed, five years ago, also the ti when the instance from Mysterious World descended, the Ti Book fell from the sky.”

“The landing spot was right in this mansion, hence this place beca the headquarters for the concerned departnt.”

“Are the technologies from the Mysterious Affairs Bureau also derived from this Ti Book?” Mu Rufeng asked.

“Indeed, otherwise, what do you think we rely on to create these items?”

“Our every scientific technology compared to the technology of the Mysterious World, can almost be said to be completely two different systems.”
