Chapter 473: Chapter 240: Stealing Cloning Technology

“Fine, I’ll see you off on your way.”

Mu Rufeng waved his Magic Wand and imdiately released an Explosive Fla Technique.

Instantly, a gigantic Fireball that nearly filled the corridor materialized, and then, carrying terrifying force, it smashed into the mass of Clones in the distance.

The Fireball did not explode upon impact. Instead, it rolled over the Clones for so distance, finally hitting the wall at a corner with a heavy thud before it burst into flas.

The fearso fire surged instantly towards both sides of the corner.

Seeing this, Mu Rufeng simply pointed at the oncoming flas, and they rolled back the way they ca.

This action intensified the ferocity of the flas in that area.

After a while, the fire gradually subsided, and not a single Clone could be seen before him, only a sea of lava left on the ground.

Furthermore, the lava covered a vast area, from the initial point all the way to the corner.

There must be lava around the corner too, but Mu Rufeng just couldn’t see it.

[Explosive Fla Technique]: Able to cast a huge Fireball, its flight speed increased tenfold, with powerful penetration and explosive force. After the explosion, it creates a Magma Pool at the location, inflicting burn damage on enemies.

With this Magma Pool, Mu Rufeng believed he could just sit back and watch the show.

Right away, Mu Rufeng pulled out a chair, sat down, took a sip of milk tea, and crossed his legs as he watched the scene unfold before him.

After about a minute, a massive number of Clones ca running out from around the corner again, charging toward Mu Rufeng.

This ti, however, it was different; not a single piece of their flesh was unscathed.

Especially their legs, which were charred to the bone from the high temperature.

Yet even so, they were still running on their burned leg bones.

Once they fell, they faced the high temperatures of the lava directly and were incinerated to ashes.

Despite this, due to the sheer number of Clones, they ford a ‘Clone carpet,’ covering the lava and allowing those behind to approach unhard.

“Man, this kind of scene would be a hit in a blockbuster sci-fi movie.”

“It’s a bit of a pity, though; they’re only Level 2 and can’t trigger ‘get stronger by killing monsters,'” said Mu Rufeng sowhat regretfully.

Watching the Clones that now covered all the lava, leaving less than five ters to him,

Mu Rufeng once again waved his Magic Wand.

Imdiately, Fireballs reappeared and cleared out all the Clones in the corridor. Then they smashed into the corner wall, exploding with a loud bang.

Once again, the horrific flas surged towards him, and Mu Rufeng acted as he did before.

When the fire settled back, the Magma Pool on the ground beca thicker and deeper.

The corner wall, hit by the Explosive Fla Technique twice, was burnt through, revealing the dark soil outside.

That soil lted from the intense heat, expanding the area around the corner by several tis.

Because of this, Mu Rufeng could see even more Clones.

Of course, the Magma Pool had also expanded.

“Ssssss~!” A cacophony of sizzling sounds accompanied by the scents of burnt at and char.

The Clones kept coming, one after another, using their bodies to fill the Magma Pool.

But this ti, because the lava was deeper and hotter, it took even more Clones to fill it.

Nevertheless, the Clones kept coming endlessly, attacking in a frenzy.

“There are so many Clones, but why the abundance of chips too? Don’t they cost anything?” Mu Rufeng mused, puzzled.

He pushed open the alloy door and called out to Li Linna inside: “Miss Lina, do the chips in the Clones’ heads cost much?”

Li Linna, hearing Mu Rufeng’s question, was first taken aback, then replied, “The cost isn’t high. As far as I know, the chips produced by the factory cost only two soul banknotes each.

“The factory stock should be no less than a million chips, and they can produce a hundred thousand per hour.”

“You keep running in circles.” Mu Rufeng clicked his tongue in amazent, then closed the alloy door once more.

A cost of just two soul banknotes – that’s hardly any expense.

At the sa ti, within the Cloning and Slaughterhouse facility.

Those eight massive spiral machines were still in the sa status as before.

Only now, the slaughterhouse below had ceased operation.

Instead, another conveyor line had started up.

A multitude of chanical arms suddenly appeared above the giant spiral machinery.

These chanical arms sliced open the Clones’ heads and inserted a chip.

As soon as the chip was in place, it activated instantly, and the Clones opened their eyes, gaining the ability to move.

The hooks automatically fell off. As soon as a Clone hit the ground, it sprinted towards a destined area.

One could see the Clones continually falling from the hooks.

A dense horde of Clones charged in a unified direction.

And from the conveyors above those floor levels, even more Clones kept on appearing non-stop.

It was unimaginable just how many Clones there were in this place!!!

Half an hour went by in a flash.

Mu Rufeng boredly watched the endless stream of Clones lt into the enormous Magma Pool.

Truthfully, he had initially felt quite uncomfortable witnessing this scene.

But as he watched more, he beca numb to it.

It was at that mont that a prompt suddenly appeared in Mu Rufeng’s mind.

[Third Stage mission complete, clearance rate increased by 500%. As the player has accepted the Fourth Stage mission, they cannot return.]
