"Hehe, hurry up and clean, or I will get angry."
"And when I get angry, you'll have to leave sothing behind here," the at Ball Ghost said ominously.
Mu Rufeng glanced at the at Ball Ghost; its Level of Abnormality wasn't very high, only Level 4.
With Mu Rufeng's strength, it would still be an easy task to handle.
However, the at Ball Ghost was a guest at the Blood Chamber Hotel, and he couldn't initiate an attack.
Right away, Mu Rufeng raised his hand, and his bandage shot out imdiately.
Instead of attacking the Abnormality, it went straight into the puddles on the floor.
The puddles were quickly absorbed by the bandage.
Before long, they were completely clean.
"Huh? Kid, you've got so skills, such absorbency. Then go ahead and suck all the Corpse Water from your fat grandpa here."
As soon as the at Ball Ghost finished speaking, multiple blisters on its legs burst.
A large amount of Corpse Water gushed out.
In no ti at all, the floor was covered with foul-slling Corpse Water.
Mu Rufeng watched this unfold, unflustered, and released all the bandages.
Bandages could consu blood, and Corpse Water, being a liquid, could naturally be absorbed as well.
But it seed reluctant, as if it was telling Mu Rufeng that the water was terribly stinky.
"Good boy, go on, I'll find you so fresh blood to drink later," Mu Rufeng said.
Quickly, the bandages absorbed all the Corpse Water.
When the bandages wanted to return, Mu Rufeng stopped them.
No way around it, they were now too stinky; if they wound around him again, Mu Rufeng feared he might die from the stench.
"This item of yours is truly impressive, it actually sucked up all of my Corpse Water."
The at Ball Ghost now seed much thinner from releasing so much Corpse Water, barely resembling a human form.
"Guest, is there anything else you require?" Mu Rufeng said with a light smile.
"Yes, of course, this bandage—it's mine. Give it to , and you can go," the at Ball Ghost said.
"It's yours?" Mu Rufeng looked oddly at the at Ball Ghost.
"What? You don't believe ? This bandage is drenched with my scent, of course, it's mine. Otherwise, could it be yours?" the at Ball Ghost said indifferently.
"You've done a good job today; give the bandage, and I'll give you a good rating," the at Ball Ghost added.
Mu Rufeng glanced at the open bathroom door to his right.
He then directed the bandages towards the bathroom, and they ejected the absorbed Corpse Water into the toilet.
When the Corpse Water was gone, the bandage no longer reeked.
"Now, without the stench, how could it possibly be yours? Or are you saying it'll respond if you call it?" Mu Rufeng said.
"Heh heh, kid, I didn't want to make a move, but now, you can't bla ."
The at Ball Ghost stood up from the couch as the unique montum of a Level 4 Abnormality erupted.
In the at Ball Ghost's view, Mu Rufeng was just a small Level 2 Abnormality, and while it couldn't kill a person, taking an item shouldn't be a problem.
"Oh? Planning to make a move?" Mu Rufeng's lips curled slightly upward.
This was exactly what he was waiting for.
He couldn't strike first, but if the guest threw the first punch, he could fight back.
At that mont, as the assistant manager was showing them around, he had used the Rule Skills "You Die, I Live" to successfully increase his attributes tenfold.
"Experience the sensation of suffocation."
The at Ball Ghost opened its gaping maw, and a massive surge of Corpse Water shot out, instantly enveloping Mu Rufeng.
Suddenly, Mu Rufeng felt an extre sense of disgust and suffocation.
"Disgusting, too disgusting," Mu Rufeng thought, feeling his skin crawl.
Without any hesitation, Mu Rufeng clenched his right fist and then with one punch, he exploded the ball of Corpse Water.
Copious amounts of Corpse Water splashed in all directions—the ceiling, walls, bed, couch—everything was stained with Corpse Water.
The foul stench in the room beca even more intense.
"What? You, a re Level 2 Contractor, how could you break my Water Prison?" the at Ball Ghost's face changed, visibly shocked.
"For no reason at all, you attacked , so now I can also strike back," Mu Rufeng said, smiling as he took out that butcher knife.
"You want to fight ? You're still too green," the at Ball Ghost sneered, ready to continue the attack.
However, the next second, Mu Rufeng's figure suddenly disappeared.
Then, the at Ball Ghost sensed an imminent threat behind it.
Before it could dodge, a cold light flashed.
With a "thud," a swollen arm fell to the floor.
Following that, the sharp butcher's knife was placed against the neck of the at Ball Ghost.
"How do you find my service today? Guest," Mu Rufeng whispered into the ear of the at Ball Ghost.
"Good... very good, your service is excellent, I give you a positive review," the at Ball Ghost swallowed, daring not to move an inch.
Its arm had been chopped off, and it could feel a wave of malevolent energy corroding its wound.
If its head were to be chopped off by this knife, it might really die.
"Damn it, he's just a minor Level 2 Contractor, how does he have so many powerful items," the at Ball Ghost raged in its heart.
As the at Ball Ghost gave its positive review, an idea appeared in Mu Rufeng's mind.
Essentially, Mu Rufeng had successfully completed a guest's service and received a positive review, which ant he could leave the room now.
Mu Rufeng guessed that this must be from the Blood Chamber Hotel itself, which could monitor whether a custor gave a positive or negative review.
With that in mind, Mu Rufeng was no longer worried about the at Ball Ghost giving him a negative review later on.
"You're lucky, if it weren't forbidden to let a guest die inside the hotel, today wouldn't have been so fortunate for you," Mu Rufeng said as he slapped the at Ball Ghost's plump face with the butcher's knife.
Afterward, he lifted his hand and released the Bandage, which wrapped into the wound.
"What... what are you doing?" The at Ball Ghost suddenly beca terrified.
"Nothing much, I promised the Bandage I'd let it drink so fresh blood, don't worry, I won't drain you dry," Mu Rufeng said with a smile.
The at Ball Ghost was in utter panic, clearly feeling its blood and ghost qi being rapidly drained.
"Stop, I was wrong, forgive , if you continue, I'll drop to Level 3," the at Ball Ghost begged, scared.
Mu Rufeng turned a deaf ear.
The at Ball Ghost gritted its teeth and, with so heartache, took out a black pearl and said, "Let's call it even for today, here's an item as my apology."
"Oh?" Mu Rufeng imdiately took the pearl.
Upon holding it, he felt its significant weight.
[Corpse Water Pearl]: A pearl nurtured by a Water Ghost for a year, extrely heavy.
Effect: Contains a large volu of Corpse Water compressed inside, making it very heavy; it can cause damage with its weight and can release the Corpse Water in one go to inflict widespread Corrosion damage.
Note: Everything else is fine, it just slls terrible, best kept in the Item Slot.
"It's indeed a decent item, it just, really stinks," Mu Rufeng frowned slightly, repulsed by the sll.
Imdiately, Mu Rufeng waved his hand, calling back the Bandage and stuffing the Corpse Water Pearl inside it.
Even with the Bandage's wrapping, the foul sll still lingered.
Without delay, Mu Rufeng had the Bandage wrap the Corpse Water Pearl in many layers, finally rendering the sll undetectable.
"So, Brother Mu, I've given you the item, aren't you..." the at Ball Ghost said in a fawning tone.
"Hmm, the service for today is complete, and it's ti for to go."
"However, about the Corpse Water in this room... aren't you going to do sothing about it?" Mu Rufeng looked around the room and spoke.
"Yes, yes, yes," the at Ball Ghost nodded repeatedly, then opened its mouth to suck, and the Corpse Water contaminating various parts of the room was rapidly inhaled into its mouth.
Even the Corpse Water inside the water bucket was absorbed along with it.
"That's much cleaner now, and the stench is gone," Mu Rufeng nodded in satisfaction and then picked up the mop and bucket and left the room.
The at Ball Ghost watched Mu Rufeng leave, its face turning extrely dark.
Then, it picked up its severed arm and embedded it back onto its wound.
However, the wound did not heal, as the malicious energy was still present.
At once, a large amount of Corpse Water erupted, attempting to cleanse the evil influence.
Yet, the at Ball Ghost's face soon changed.
"Damn it, this bit of malevolent energy will take an hour or two to cleanse, that knife must be a Level 5 item," the at Ball Ghost cursed under its breath before sitting back on the couch to continue expelling the evil influence.
...
Mu Rufeng returned to the corridor.
However, there was no sign of Liu Yong in the corridor.
Mu Rufeng scanned around and then went over to the corner where so tools were placed.
"A broom and dustpan are missing, along with a mop and bucket, seems like the lights in a guest room turned on again."
"I hope Liu Yong can complete it safely," Mu Rufeng shook his head and put the mop and bucket back.
He rolled the dice, adding five points to his Luck Value, which surely could offer so chance of survival.
The ten minutes passed quickly.
The door to room 401 opened, and Liu Yong walked out with an excited expression.
"Brother Mu, Brother Mu, I got a positive review," Liu Yong exclaid after closing the door and then, upon seeing Mu Rufeng not far away, ran over excitedly.
"Oh? You got a positive review already? What kind of Abnormality is inside room 401?" Mu Rufeng asked curiously.
"Brother Mu, the guest from room 401 was a female ghost, an odd one at that," Liu Yong explained.
"After entering, she asked to whip her for ten minutes, and then she gave a positive review."
"Brother Mu, you know what, it must be that dice item of yours that worked wonders," Liu Yong spoke while still seeming quite nostalgic.
