Jake calmly broke the limbs of the Wendigo King, drawing a cry of pain from the creature. He knew it wouldn't last long—Wendigos, like vampires, possessed rapid regeneration, though at a slower rate.

He waited patiently, giving the Wendigo ti to recover from the spinal damage and broken limbs. Jake understood the nature of lower-ranked Wendigos. With their leader immobilized, their instincts would push them to tear him apart and fight for dominance. Letting that happen would be a waste.

'This one's the strongest of them all. I can't afford to lose such a valuable asset over sothing as stupid as pride,' Jake thought, scanning the surrounding ruins for signs of movent, making sure no wendigo tried to sneak away while he waited.

After a short while, the Wendigo King stirred, then rose to his knees before Jake.

"Thank you for saving . From now on, I will obey your commands," the Wendigo said. "My na is Sikee."

Almost imdiately, the other Wendigos followed suit, bowing their heads in submission.

Jake raised a brow. "Why did you pledge loyalty to ? You don't know who I am. You know nothing about my intentions."

"Because you are king," Sikee replied without hesitation. "I can sll it on you. My instincts told to follow you."

"I see…" Jake muttered. "But I have no interest in being king. I'm beyond that. You'll serve my son in the future. For now, you answer to ."

Sikee hesitated, then lowered his gaze. "Your son must be able to defeat first. He must be worthy. If he isn't, I cannot follow him. Forgive , master."

Jake nodded. "Fair enough. For now, keep the Wendigos from leaving the city. And don't touch that demon-rank beast—it's an ally."

He motioned for Sikee to rise, then turned toward the spot where he had detected the underground structure. He could've blasted straight through it but he wasn't here to destroy anything. The last thing he wanted was to hurt Zunda or make her sad.

Drawing Excalibur, Jake stabbed it into the ground. A pulse of energy shot down from the blade, opening a narrow, manhole-sized tunnel. Once it was done, he withdrew the sword and jumped in.

*BAM!*

He landed with a heavy thud on solid ground and quickly glanced around. Activating Gyo, he scanned the entire underground layout—an elaborate villa sat beneath the city. Without wasting ti, Jake sprinted through the tunnels, heading toward the nearest signs of life.

After a few seconds, he slid to a stop. Several vampires stood ahead, ard to the teeth and dressed in light combat gear. From their stance, Jake could tell that they were guards. When they saw him, their expressions shifted from alert to anxious. Slowly, they began backing away, wary of every step he took.

"I'm not here to fight," Jake said calmly, raising one hand. "I ca to see her highness—Zunda."

The guards hesitated, then gradually lowered their weapons. One of them stepped forward and bowed.

"We apologize for pointing weapons at you. We knew it wouldn't help, but… we couldn't bear to see her highness' hard work threatened," he said.

"It's fine," Jake replied, his tone relaxed. "I just want to see her. Tell her… her grandson is here."

They all exchanged glances, then nodded. One of the guards gestured toward a female vampire who clearly stood out—not because of her presence, but the way she held her spear, untrained and clumsy.

"Hey, are you the one taking to Her Highness?" Jake asked suddenly, startling the ek girl who had been shaking in place.

"Y-Yes, sir!" she blurted out, her voice unexpectedly loud.

Jake chuckled. Her voice was light and childish, fitting for soone as timid as her.

"Alright, drop the spear. It's making nervous," Jake said jokingly.

Without hesitation, the girl tossed it to the ground and began leading him through the tunnel.

"You're a vampire noble, and you have the potential to evolve into a vampire lord," Jake said from behind, "but you look ridiculous. Why are you holding back?"

"I-I don't like to kill, sir," she stamred.

"I see…" Jake didn't press further. He simply followed her in silence, glancing around as they walked.

After a few minutes, they erged from the tunnel, and a massive building with several apartnts ca into view. It didn't have the usual vampire architectural style, which caught Jake off guard. Still, he followed her.

Eventually, they stopped at one of the flats. Inside, it was moderately furnished—basic couches, ho entertainnt systems, and what looked like research junk scattered around. Opposite the living room was a door, and from it ca a sharp, chemical-like odor.

'That's probably Zunda's personal lab,' Jake thought as he settled into the couch.

"So this is Her Highness's personal space, huh?" he asked.

The girl nodded quickly. "S-Sir, please wait a few minutes for Her Highness. While you wait, I'll make you so coffee."

She left and soon returned with a cup of black coffee, which she served without a word.

In the middle of his first sip, Zunda suddenly erged.

"You can leave now. Thank you," Zunda said to the girl.

"Okay, Your Highness."

As the girl exited, Zunda walked to the door, locked it behind her, then returned and sat down opposite Jake.

Jake's gaze remained fixed on her the entire ti—because of what she was wearing. A long black lingerie dress. Not see-through, not overtly revealing, but it clung to her figure in a way that left nothing to the imagination—not even the outline of her nipples.

"How are you doing, Jake?" Zunda asked with a smile.

"I… ahem, I'm here to see you—"

"Please, don't call Grandma," Zunda interrupted with a laugh. "Hearing it from you feels too weird—especially when you're carrying such a large chunk of the Protoss' soul. But still, you're my sweet little boy."

"I'm fine with that. And for the record, you look as beautiful as ever," Jake said, smiling faintly.

Zunda's expression suddenly shifted, becoming serious.

"There are two reasons you could be here. Based on my age and experience, I'm one hundred percent sure it's one of them," she said. "I'll ask the first question. Just answer yes or no."
