After taking the berries Koby handed over, Amon was in an excellent mood. He had barely set foot ashore before selling one jar already.
Looks like selling three in a day would not be too difficult after all.
"Koby, which one do you want?"
"I want to take a look first, Sir."
Koby was still extrely excited. He had been bullied ever since he was little, and all this ti, all he had wanted was to grow stronger.
Now that the chance was right in front of him, he had to cherish it. He imdiately crouched down and began carefully studying the jars one by one.
"Sir, I want that white one."

Amon laughed.
"Right, I forgot. Use this little hamr to smash it open."
As he spoke, he took out the wooden hamr. It was a new island, after all. He had almost forgotten that Koby had no way of knowing the process.

After receiving Amon's instructions, Koby imdiately smashed the jar open.
As soone who had been bullied for so long, Koby longed for strength more than anyone.
Only if he beca stronger could he join the Marines.
Only then could he work toward becoming an Admiral.
He might look timid, but his determination to beco a Marine Admiral had always been real.
If Oda had written Legend of the Marines instead of One Piece, then perhaps Koby would have been the protagonist.

"Heh, looks like you really are soone destined to beco an Admiral. Your luck is ridiculously good. These things are all rare treasures."
Koby scratched his head and replied uncertainly, "Really?"
"Of course."
System scan revealed there were three items in total.
The first was:
[Beginner Marine Six Powers]: From the world of One Piece. The Marine Six Powers are a martial combat style used by the Marines, techniques that surpass the limits of the human body. It includes six moves in total: Iron Body, Shave, Paper Art, Moonwalk, Tempest Kick, and Finger Pistol.
That was right. Koby's luck was absurdly good.
Other people usually got just one item, but what he had opened was a complete set of the Marine Six Powers.
As expected of soone walking the hidden Marine route of the story, Koby's luck really was sothing.
Besides the full Six Powers set, the second item was:
[Beginner Observation Haki]: An Observation Haki card. Once used, the user imdiately learns Observation Haki, even if they have never touched it before.
Amon was already familiar with this item. It was not the first ti a jar had produced an Observation Haki card.
Co to think of it, even if Koby never used this card, he probably would have learned Observation Haki naturally in the future anyway.
But learning it early was a completely different matter. If he started now, then ten or so years later, who knew, maybe he would even push it into the interdiate or advanced stage.
For him, it was an extrely practical support ability in battle.

If the first two items were there to raise Koby's strength, then the third item was the key to whether he could beco Garp's disciple.
Amon was almost certain that if Koby brought this to Garp, he would be delighted to take him in.
That was because the last item was sothing unbelievably suited to Garp.
[Montum Amplifier]: A peculiar support item. By itself, it has no effect. But if used together with the Pedro BGM, it increases the range and duration of the effect by one-third, while boosting its power by thirty percent.
Even soone with the strongest will would not be able to endure this for long.
When Amon first read the effect of that amplifier, he had been completely stunned.

But what he was even more curious about was this: what kind of expression would Garp make if he ever learned a thing like this existed?
Koby, anwhile, was still staring at the three cards in confusion.

"First, take out the card on the left. Yes, that white one."
As he spoke, he had Koby take out the Beginner Observation Haki card.

Amon then gave Koby a full explanation of Observation Haki, along with the thod for using the card.
The more Koby listened, the wider his eyes beca.

It was his first ti hearing the term from Amon, but based on the explanation alone, he could already tell how precious this card was.
"Of course. Just do it the way I told you, and you'll learn it. Go on, give it a try."

"Alright."
Koby nodded hard, then slowly brought his palms together and began following Amon's instructions.
