According to the intelligence brought by Senior Brother Mu.

The Xuanyuan Clan has two major trump cards.

The first is the legendary sword of the Xuanyuan Clan’s first Clan Leader, the Human Emperor—Xuanyuan Sword.

It is a Divine Weapon of the Creation Level.

In the entire Chaos Realm, such weapons are now likely only in the possession of aristocratic families with ancient heritages.

The second is the jade pendant projection Xuanyuan Zixi just used, capable of unleashing the full-strength strike of a Boundary God Realm expert.

Now that Xuanyuan Zixi has used the jade pendant, it likely ans that the Xuanyuan Sword is in Xuanyuan Che’s hands.

But... how could Xuanyuan Zixi know that Xu Yeming also possesses a jade pendant? And this jade pendant can be used infinitely, summoning a power far surpassing the Boundary God Realm.

Looking down at the cracked jade pendant in his hand, Xuanyuan Zixi’s face gradually turned pale.

It was his strongest trump card.

But who could have imagined that an abandoned descendant of the Xu Family’s direct lineage could possess a trump card capable of contending with a full-strength Boundary God Realm strike?

Xuanyuan Zixi raised his head and looked at Xu Yeming, who was approaching step by step. His face beca increasingly feral, just as he was about to spit venom, Xu Yeming calmly stretched out his hand and cleanly severed Xuanyuan Zixi’s tendons at his wrists and ankles.

Imdiately, he followed up with a direct punch to Xuanyuan Zixi’s dantian.

This was ant to strip his ability to resist and prevent any risk of self-detonation.

Of course, even one’s soul could self-detonate.

Thus, Xu Yeming closely followed up by slapping a soul-suppressing talisman onto Xuanyuan Zixi’s brow.

Xu Yeming accomplished all this without hesitation, taking but a single breath of ti. He gave no opening for anyone else—or even Xuanyuan Zixi himself—to react.

It was only now that Xuanyuan Zixi processed what had happened. The simultaneous rupture of his tendons and destruction of his dantian brought him wave upon wave of unbearable agony.

"Argh!" A scream of anguish echoed as Xuanyuan Zixi realized his enemy’s intent: to prevent him from self-detonating. Sparing his life ant they intended to extract information.

Realizing this, Xuanyuan Zixi’s face turned ashen with fear, cold sweat soaking him as he forced a twisted smile through the pain: "Want to know sothing? Don’t waste your ti—I won’t tell you a thing!"

Xu Yeming didn’t reply to Xuanyuan Zixi. Instead, he gestured toward Xu Chen with a smile and said, "Co here. Let’s see if, after hearing this news, you’d rather side with or expose my identity."

Over these days, Xu Yeming had noticed Xu Chen quietly observing him.

But Xu Yeming had also been observing Xu Chen.

Xu Chen’s loyalty to the Xu Family was unwavering. However... Xu Chen’s loyalty seed directed toward the Xu Family as a concept, not necessarily its individual mbers.

Such a person.

If the intelligence from Xu Yeming and Mu Fusheng was correct, then hearing what was to co might very well stop Xu Chen from exposing Xu Yeming’s identity afterward.

Even if Xu Chen still wished to reveal him, it wouldn’t matter.

Xu Yeming had other ways to ensure Xu Chen couldn’t return to the Xu Family.

For example, locking him away sowhere until these matters concluded was always an option.

Crossing his arms, Xu Chen gazed at Xuanyuan Zixi with an air of indifference and asked, "You’re so sure this guy will talk?"

Xu Yeming shrugged.

The Soul Searching Technique? With the power of his soul, Xu Yeming couldn’t perform a search on Xuanyuan Zixi’s soul.

What’s more, Xuanyuan Zixi’s soul would undoubtedly be protected by restrictions placed by his superiors. Unless his master intervened personally.

However...

To handle such contingencies—

His master had once taught them how to pry the truth from soone’s lips.

Xu Yeming eyed the smirking Xuanyuan Zixi, a few silver needles suddenly appearing in his hand.

"And you think a few needles will get to talk?" Xuanyuan Zixi scoffed coldly, looking at the needles in Xu Yeming’s hand. "You’re underestimating ."

Xu Yeming sared dicinal powder onto the needles, which quickly turned black before shifting to a deep purple hue.

His master once said: simple needle torture wouldn’t work on cultivators. The acupoints in their bodies were filled with immortal aura and blood qi.

You had to throw in—a touch of poison.

The poison, naturally, was brewed by Senior Sister Wan’er.

Then again... with Xuanyuan Zixi’s dantian crushed and his immortal aura dissipated—

The acupoints, now empty of immortal energy, would hurt just a tiny bit more with poison.

Xu Yeming curled his lips into a faint smile. "I hope you can keep that sa attitude later, or I might just lose respect for you."

With that.

With a flick of his fingers, several silver needles darted directly into Xuanyuan Zixi’s acupoints!

In an instant.

Xuanyuan Zixi’s body tensed as an excruciating pain surged through him, crashing into every corner of his body like tidal waves—spreading to his limbs, his Five Organs, Six Orifices!

The pain pierced through to his very bones—and even to his soul!

Xuanyuan Zixi couldn’t hold back. He threw his head back and howled in agony.

The veins on his neck and forehead bulged.

Cold sweat soaked through his robes in re monts!

"Feel like talking yet?" Xu Yeming watched calmly, his expression half-amused.

Enduring the pain that roiled like waves, Xuanyuan Zixi gritted his teeth, ferocity twisting his features. His bloodshot eyes fixed on Xu Yeming with a mocking glare as he sneered, "Is that all you’ve got?"

Xu Yeming nodded. "Got it."

Another ten long, violet-tinted needles flew into Xuanyuan Zixi’s other acupoints.

As Xuanyuan Zixi’s agonized screams grew more barbaric—like the cries of a wild beast—his features crumpled tightly together in unbearable anguish.

Huang Xin and Han Daoxuan exchanged uneasy glances, shivering in unison.

They had never seen such an interrogation technique before.

Though intrigued, they had no desire to experience it firsthand.

If even Xuanyuan Zixi couldn’t endure it, then there was no way they could fare any better.

"Still feeling tough?" Xu Yeming mocked.

Xuanyuan Zixi could no longer speak, rely shaking his head.

So Xu Yeming sent in a few more needles.

"How about now?"

Xuanyuan Zixi didn’t even have the strength to shake his head anymore. Instead, his barely open eyes glinted with a provocative leer.

Xu Yeming nodded and flicked his fingers, embedding yet more needles into Xuanyuan Zixi.

Soon, Xuanyuan Zixi’s body resembled that of a porcupine.

The endless agony continued to pile on!

Ti and again, he teetered on the verge of passing out.

At this mont, Xuanyuan Zixi wished deeply to lose consciousness—or even to die outright.

Yet the needles embedded into his body seed to sohow keep him awake, even amplifying his pain sensitivity!

Xu Yeming found himself sowhat admiring Xuanyuan Zixi’s resilience as he asked, "Still hanging in there? Looks like these acupoints are just about full."

Xuanyuan Zixi’s face lit up with hope.

Was he finally about to survive this ordeal? But Xu Yeming’s next words struck him with utter terror!

Xu Yeming pulled out a longer, thicker needle and murmured to himself, "Well, in that case, I’ll just remove the needles already in you and start over with this one."

Xuanyuan Zixi nearly keeled over in despair.

He frantically nodded his head, sohow summoning the strength to gasp out, "I... I’ll talk! I’ll talk!"

Xu Yeming absentmindedly flicked a few more needles into Xuanyuan Zixi.

Huang Xin, Han Daoxuan, and Xu Chen stared at Xu Yeming, their faces frozen in shock.

Xuanyuan Zixi let out yet another scream of sheer tornt before glaring at Xu Yeming in disbelief.

Xu Yeming scratched his head, chuckling, "My bad—force of habit, force of habit..."
