They shone their flashlights around the room but couldn’t find anything that looked like an agreent.
The leader, Brother Qiang, couldn’t help but curse, "For fuck’s sake, this place is huge! How long is this gonna take?"
His subordinate imdiately offered a suggestion. "Look, that chick lives here all by herself. Why don’t we just tie her up and force her to tell us where the agreent is? Then we don’t have to waste our ti looking."
"Hot damn! How co I never noticed you were so smart before?"
Brother Qiang praised him, then followed his partner upstairs to grab the woman.
As they reached the top of the stairs, they suddenly heard a strange and sinister lody:
"Little sister with her dolly dear,
Went to the garden, flowers so near.
The dolly cried and called for Mama,
While birds in the trees just laughed HA-HA-HA..."
The song’s lody was exceptionally eerie. Hearing it, the subordinate couldn’t help but shiver. "Brother Qiang, is this place haunted? What kind of sane person listens to music this creepy in the middle of the night?"
Brother Qiang had been listening, completely engrossed. He snapped out of it and gave his partner a hard slap across the face. "Haunted my ass! If a house was haunted, do you think soone would live in it for so long?"
His partner complained aggrievedly, "You can’t bla , Boss! Of all the songs that woman could play, she had to pick ’Little Sister and Her Dolly.’ It’s too damn weird..."
"Besides, if music is playing from the basent, that ans the woman is in the basent..."
Brother Qiang lightly smacked his subordinate on the head. "She likes ’Little Sister and Her Dolly,’ huh? This chick’s got so unique taste! C’mon, let’s go down and have so fun with her!"
On the basent level, the lights flickered on and off, and the music faded in and out. But the area was completely empty; there wasn’t even any music equipnt in sight.
A slender woman in a white dress stood by the edge of the swimming pool, dancing ceaselessly, never once stopping.
Her dance was bizarre, with a hint of sothing ferocious. Even from several ters away, it was enough to make one’s skin crawl.
The two n stared at the slender figure, drool nearly dripping from their mouths.
Brother Qiang was a bit bemused. "Is this strear that provocative? Dancing here this late at night... Is she trying to get a good body for the two of us to enjoy?"
The two n walked down, slowly approaching the slender figure.
Brother Qiang was still a little puzzled. "Weren’t they saying she’s a great beauty? How co this woman looks so ugly? The only good thing about her is her figure."
His partner said, "I heard strears always use beauty filters when they go live, cranking all the settings to max. On cara, their faces look perfect. Off cara, they’re a train wreck."
Brother Qiang was disappointed. "Sigh. I thought we were gonna get to have fun with a beauty, but it turns out she’s just an ugly hag!"
The music stopped abruptly. The woman in white slowly turned around. "What did you say? That I’m an ugly hag? Well, did you know? I used to be a pretty little girl once!"
When she turned, the two n were even more shocked.
Brother Qiang scread, "AHHH! Why is your face so white?! A ghost! It’s a ghost!"
"Who are you calling a ghost?" The white-clothed ghost’s voice trembled with anger.
Brother Qiang roared, "If you’re not a fucking ghost, are you a goddess from heaven? You’re as ugly as a ghost! Don’t think you’re not a ghost just because you slap on a beauty filter for your streams! I’m telling you, you’re uglier than a ghost!"
His partner also sounded regretful. "But Brother Qiang, our client told us to... do her. But she’s so ugly she could stop a clock. I feel like we’re getting the short end of the stick here!"
Brother Qiang gritted his teeth and said with great feeling, "Since we’re in this line of work, we have to have so professional ethics! The client said to do her, so even if we have to grit our teeth, we’re gonna do her!"
His subordinate couldn’t help but give Brother Qiang a thumbs-up. "As expected of Brother Qiang! Your principles are on another level!"
Brother Qiang kicked him. "Then what are you standing around for? Go!"
The subordinate was dumbfounded. "Brother Qiang, you... you’re telling to go? But she’s ugly as sin! I can’t bring myself to do it!"
Brother Qiang kicked him again and barked, "Who cares if she’s ugly? This is a sixty-million-yuan reward! Just shut your eyes tight, imagine you’re a gigolo, and bear with it! It’ll be over before you know it. When we get paid, I’ll even give you two million!"
"Now that’s more like it!"
The subordinate gritted his teeth, suppressed his physical revulsion, and strode toward the white-clothed ghost.
"You ugly hag, today’s your lucky day!"
The white-clothed ghost was at her breaking point, but Shen Zhiyao had told her not to kill. ’I can still endure it,’ she thought. ’I can still endure it!’
But when the man started unbuckling his belt, she finally couldn’t take it anymore.
"Fuck you, you damn perverts! Neither of you is getting out of here alive today!"
The white-clothed ghost’s rage was completely ignited. She stomped her feet hard, and the entire basent plunged into darkness. An invisible pressure instantly bore down on the two n, crushing them until they couldn’t breathe.
"ARGH! It hurts!" The subordinate fought against the pressure and struggled to his feet. "Brother Qiang? Are you there, Brother Qiang? Why did all the color suddenly drain from the basent? Are you doing so kind of magic trick..."
Before he could finish, countless leaves flew into the basent and sward toward them. The leaves lifted both n into the air and threw them into the swimming pool.
The pressure in the basent was imnse, leaving the two n gasping for air.
And so, they were subjected to a repeating cycle: thrown in the water, nearly drowned, pulled out. Thrown in the water, nearly drowned, pulled out.
As she repeated these actions, she cursed furiously, "Fuck you! You two disgusting pigs dare to call ugly? Take a look at yourselves! You’re both ugly as sin, and you have the nerve to call ** ugly?"
Brother Qiang forced his arm up to grab the edge of the pool and, with great effort, hauled himself out of the water.
He hadn’t taken two steps before he ran into a woman in red, draped in a curtain.
The woman gave him a cold glance but asked enthusiastically, "You’re all wet. Aren’t you cold? Want to share so of my curtain with you?"
Brother Qiang kept repeating, "A ghost, a ghost, it’s a ghost!"
"A ghost? Are you talking about ?"
The Red-clothed Ghost threw off the curtain wrapped around her, revealing feet that were floating in the air.
"AHHH! A GHOST!" Brother Qiang scread, turned, and tried to run, but he couldn’t move at all.
He had just taken two steps when the Red-clothed Ghost used the curtain to drag him back. "Why are you running? I’m not going to eat you!"
The curtain wrapped tightly around Brother Qiang’s entire body, and the Red-clothed Ghost sat right down on top of him. "I know you must be cold. The curtain’s a gift. Don’t ntion it."
Just then, the white-clothed ghost walked over from nearby.
"Huh? What’s going on? How did outsiders get in? Is it the Master’s grandson again?"
"Didn’t the Master say he only has one grandson? These uninvited guests must be thieves!"
The Red-clothed Ghost suddenly realized sothing. "Lele, why are you so furious? Who pissed you off?"
The white-clothed ghost waved her hand, and countless green leaves shot toward Brother Qiang like sharp blades, shredding the curtain wrapped around him to pieces.
Brother Qiang had just started to get up when a storm of fallen leaves suddenly flew at him, scaring him so much he broke out in a cold sweat.
Luckily, Xinxin had no real intention to kill; the leaves only landed around his body.
The white-clothed ghost chuckled. "I’m angry because these two animals said I was as ugly as a ghost!"
"But you *are* a ghost. Why get angry?"
The white-clothed ghost took a deep breath to calm herself. "You really have a way with words. Next ti, don’t."
