"You... you drew these designs on the spot?" Ethan Grant asked in disbelief.

He instinctively looked over at Oscar Osborne.

Oscar Osborne chuckled, his face beaming with pride. "Grace Winslow is exceptionally talented in this field. She’s the one who provides all our factory’s current designs."

"Director Osborne, it’s a waste of talent for her to stay at your factory," Dylan Lockwood said, glancing at Oscar Osborne. ’How did this guy get so damn lucky?’ he thought.

’He actually managed to recruit soone like her for his factory.’

’What a sha.’

’Why didn’t I et Grace Winslow sooner?’

Ethan Grant had already gone to get Grace Winslow a pen and paper.

Grace Winslow thought for a mont, the style of the garnt taking shape in her mind. A mont later, she had finished drawing a long trench coat.

She worked so quickly that her hands were a blur. In no ti at all, several design sketches were lying on the table.

Dylan Lockwood hurriedly picked one up, his eyes filled with astonishnt.

"These... these designs..."

"They’re absolutely brilliant. I guarantee that as soon as these are made, they’ll take all of Portara by storm. They’ll definitely sell incredibly well overseas, too."

"I want to buy them. In large quantities. Price is not an issue."

That was exactly what Grace Winslow had been waiting to hear.

She had only drawn five designs.

’These were all styles she rembered from her past life—ones she’d seen Ivy White wear or spotted on television.’

’She couldn’t have drawn any more even if she’d wanted to.’

’Dylan Lockwood and the others thought she was a genius at fashion design, but really, she was just benefiting from having lived a whole other life.’

’Her drawing skills were decent enough, and by simply recreating the styles she rembered, she had beco the "design genius" they all saw before them.’

"Five designs. Each coat will be thirty-five. The price is non-negotiable." Grace Winslow stated the price she had in mind.

’In a couple of years, this type of coat would sell for almost a hundred in a departnt store, so her price wasn’t expensive at all.’

Dylan Lockwood, ever the big spender, replied, "Of course, that’s no problem. However, I want these clothes to carry the Lockwood Group label. Also, you’ll sell exclusively to and not offer them to anyone else."

Grace Winslow, of course, had no reason to refuse.

’Besides, as soon as these styles hit the market, countless other factories would start producing knock-offs anyway.’

’Counterfeiting was impossible to stop.’

’As long as she earned her first pot of gold, whatever happened after that was none of her business.’

’The money from all these designs would be enough to buy a nice house in Coronet in this day and age.’

Oscar Osborne still hadn’t recovered from the shock. His heart was racing, and his face was a mask of disbelief.

He wouldn’t have dared to dream of such a price.

With Ethan Grant as a witness, the two parties quickly signed the sales and purchase agreent.

Dylan Lockwood paid a deposit.

"Let treat you to a al, Miss Winslow. Would you do the honor?" Dylan Lockwood asked, his gaze still fixed fervently on Grace.

Grace Winslow’s imdiate instinct was to refuse.

But Director Osborne stood up, chuckling. "Of course, of course! Let’s all go together."

Ethan Grant chid in as well. "This deal is a big win for the Comrce Bureau, too. For the past two years, the governnt has been pushing hard for overseas trade, but with little success. anwhile, more and more foreign goods have started flowing into our dostic market."

"You two are setting a great example for everyone."

"This one’s on . Let’s go."

Now that Ethan Grant had insisted, Grace Winslow no longer refused.

The four of them left the Comrce Bureau together.

Ethan Grant drove them to a state-run restaurant himself.

There weren’t many custors in the restaurant at this hour.

While Ethan Grant went to order, Dylan Lockwood seized the opportunity to speak with Grace Winslow.

"Miss Winslow, I am sincerely inviting you to join my company. We can negotiate your compensation further. If you’re concerned about a lack of freedom, I can grant you the utmost autonomy. What do you say?"

Grace Winslow simply smiled and shook her head.

’The situation in the country was improving daily. The national college entrance exam was being reinstated in December, and she was waiting to take it.’
