149 He Stated His Relationship With Li You

Li Xiwu did not know much about Pei Jingzhou’s past. In the three years she had been by his side, other than working, she had been doing her duty as Mrs. Pei. She had never tried to understand Pei Jingzhou’s past.

She had been surprised by her analysis during the few exchanges. If Pei Jingzhou was not joking and was telling the truth, then had he really been seriously injured in the past?

Pei Jingzhou poured a glass of water and drank it. After drinking it, he turned around and saw that Li Xiwu was still standing there thinking about sothing, so he walked up to her with a glass and reminded her in a low voice, “It’s colder in Mount Liang than in the capital. Take care to keep warm. Don’t catch a cold.”

“Okay.” Li Xiwu looked up at him quietly.

Pei Jingzhou’s lips curled up. “Your gaze will make think that your heart aches for .”

Li Xiwu added, “Yes, a little.”

Pei Jingzhou played with the glass with his well-defined fingers. “I’ll take it seriously.”

Li Xiwu smiled brightly. “Even if I see a puppy drenched by the roadside, my heart will ache.”

Pei Jingzhou: “…”

Li Xiwu had never disappointed Pei Jingzhou in terms of spoiling the mood.

Li Xiwu was still holding two dust bags in her arms. She raised them slightly. “Thank you, Fourth Brother, for coming here personally.”

Pei Jingzhou said, “It sounds a little perfunctory.”

Li Xiwu raised her eyebrows. “Was it soone else who pressed down to kiss just now?”

Pei Jingzhou looked up at her. “How can the intimacy between husband and wife be counted?”

Li Xiwu smiled and turned around. “Fourth Brother also said that. We’re husband and wife, do I have to kneel and thank you?”

Pei Jingzhou looked at her slender back and the smile on his lips deepened. “Kneeling is a good suggestion, but I’m afraid I have to do sothing else.”

Li Xiwu: “…”

She put her coat in her suitcase, zipped it, and picked it up again.

They were leaving for the airport after ten. The estimated landing ti arranged by the production team was one o’clock. The live broadcast would start at one-thirty. There was still a two-hour journey between them before they arrived at their destination.

Li Xiwu looked at the ti and looked up at Pei Jingzhou. “When are you leaving?”

The question was so straightforward. It sounded like she was shooing him away.

Pei Jingzhou sat in his chair with no intention of leaving. “I’m not in a hurry.”

Li Xiwu walked over to Pei Jingzhou. “Fourth Brother, are you worried that you will bump into Gu Lanshi because he is still here? After all, losing a spar is quite embarrassing.”

Pei Jingzhou: “…”

He looked up at her. “Why do I think you’re watching a joke?”

Li Xiwu licked her dry lips. “How would I dare to watch Fourth Brother make a fool of himself?”

Pei Jingzhou stared at Li Xiwu’s lips. “You’ve laughed eight hundred tis in your heart.”

Li Xiwu almost couldn’t suppress the smile on her face, afraid that she would really laugh out loud. “I’ll go down first. Fourth Brother, you don’t have to tell when you leave later.”

She turned to go downstairs. Just as she placed her hand on the doorknob, Pei Jingzhou humd softly. Li Xiwu’s raised hand paused and she turned to look at him. Pei Jingzhou was frowning and scratching his sleeve to check sothing.

Li Xiwu focused and turned back. “What’s wrong with the wound?”

Pei Jingzhou calmly lowered his sleeves. “It’s fine. You can leave. I’ll leave after sitting for a while.”

Li Xiwu’s lips tightened. She did not notice it just now, but now she realized that Pei Jingzhou’s face was a little pale. She had planned to go downstairs when she suddenly pulled a chair over. After sitting down, she reached out to him. “Let see.”

Before she could touch Pei Jingzhou’s hand, he avoided her outstretched hand and said calmly, “What are you looking at?”

Li Xiwu’s hand froze in midair. She looked up at Pei Jingzhou quietly and said, “Hand.”

Pei Jingzhou smiled. “My hand is fine.”

Li Xiwu was expressionless. “Fourth Brother doesn’t want to add to the injury, right?”

In the next second, Pei Jingzhou silently stretched out his hand in front of Li Xiwu.

Li Xiwu gently pressed Pei Jingzhou’s hand down. “Why didn’t you do this earlier?”

Pei Jingzhou looked at her. “My wife was still very gentle to just now.”

Li Xiwu said, “Fourth Brother also knows that it was just now.”

With that, Li Xiwu rolled up the sleeve on Pei Jingzhou’s arm. He had changed the layers of gauze last night. They looked clean and showed no signs of bleeding. She used her fingertips to press around his wound. She clearly did not press where the wound was, but she heard Pei Jingzhou hiss.

Li Xiwu froze and looked up at him. “Does it hurt?”

Pei Jingzhou suppressed the smile on his lips. “It doesn’t hurt.”

Li Xiwu: “?”

Pei Jingzhou said seriously, “My heart itches.”

Li Xiwu: “…”

Outside the inn.

The sky was already bright.

“Mrs. Pei!”

Han Qianye stretched and yawned as she went down the steps. Suddenly, she was called Mrs. Pei. She was stunned and stared at the person who had called her just now.

When Gu Lanshi ca out not long after entering the inn, he saw Han Qianye and walked towards him.

Han Qianye first looked around but did not see the cara or anyone else. Then, she looked at the person walking towards her in confusion. “You are?”

Gu Lanshi said, “I’m Gu Lanshi.”

...

There was nothing wrong with such a self-introduction. However, Han Qianye did not know Gu Lanshi, she was still confused after hearing Gu Lanshi’s self-introduction.

After going down the last step, Gu Lanshi walked up to her. “Mrs. Pei…”

Han Qianye interrupted, “Wait… you should call Auntie Han.”

Gu Lanshi nodded gentlemanly. “Auntie Han.”

After Gu Lanshi clearly explained his identity, Han Qianye ca to a realization. “So you’re Tang Xian’s son, but how do you know ?”

Calling her Auntie Han was because he knew her through this show. But calling her Mrs. Pei ant another kind of knowing!

Gu Lanshi explained, “I’m Mr. Li’s student.”

Han Qianye reacted. “Li Huaisheng?”

Gu Lanshi nodded. “Yes, Uncle Li and Professor Han are also good friends. When I was learning from Uncle Li, I happened to see you at Professor Han and Uncle Li’s gathering banquet.”

Han Qianye smiled faintly. “So that’s what happened.”

She had to admit that this kid had a good mory. This must have been a long ti ago. The kid could still rember her. However, on second thought, this kid was personally taught by Li Huaisheng. He must be very talented, so his mory was naturally outstanding.

...

However, as she smiled, she suddenly thought of sothing and the friendly smile on Han Qianye’s face gradually disappeared. She suddenly looked at Gu Lanshi. “You’re Li Huaisheng’s student. Doesn’t that an you’ve seen Li You before?”

Gu Lanshi stared into Han Qianye’s eyes. “Li You is my junior sister.”

Han Qianye: “…”

Junior Sister…

That wasn’t just seeing her before…

That must be the extent of their close relationship…
