Chapter 42 - This Country Isn't As Safe As It Seems
While walking, Shishio recalled the strange and sad expression on Chihiro before which made him wonder what had happened to her.
'Has she encountered any trouble?'??
Shishio followed the street light and found the convenience store in his mory after a short while, but before he entered, he recalled that there should be a "yoshinoya" nearby.
'Beef bowl...'
Shishio looked at the convenience store and thought about the cold bento, then thought about "yoshinoya" with a hot beef bowl. He gulped and didn't hesitate, running toward the direction of "yoshinoya".
Most restaurants in this country would be closed at 10 or 11 at night, but there were so restaurants that were open for 24 hours such as "yoshinoya".
Shishio hadn't tried "yoshinoya" before since after he was reincarnated to the body of Shishio Oga, he had always eaten food that was made by his mother, a snack, or so street foods that were sold in Kyoto.
It wasn't that there wasn't any "yoshinoya" in Kyoto, but Shishio didn't have that much interest in it, and he didn't have a reason to go out at night in his hotown.
However, it was different now since he was in Tokyo, and he was famished in the middle of the night so the best place to eat should be "yoshinoya", right?
It didn't take a long ti before he found out the location of the restaurant.
"Welco!"
Shishio nodded and looked at the nu for a while, after he made up his decision, he said, "One gyudon (beef bowl) with kimchi and half-boiled egg."
"Please wait for a mont!"
Shishio then sat down on an empty seat. He looked around and could see so salaryn or so people that were eating silently. He didn't think too much and watched the employee of the store, preparing his order.
Now, so of you might be curious what gyudon is?
Gyudon, also known as gyushi, is a Japanese dish consisting of a bowl of rice topped with beef and onion simred in a mildly sweet sauce flavored with dashi, soy sauce, and mirin. It sotis also includes shirataki noodles and is sotis topped with a raw egg or a soft poached egg.
It could be said that as long as soone wanted to eat sothing tasty, cheap, and fast in Japan then it should be gyudon, or rather, this dish was Japanese fast food.
It didn't take long before his order was coming, Shishio didn't hesitate and ate with relish since it tasted better than he had imagined.
'This cheap thinly sliced beef, fluffy rice, thick sauce...'
Shishio thought that it was good to eat it from ti to ti, but he shouldn't eat it too much since he was afraid he might get fat, especially when he ate it at night, but when he thought about his double physical ability, he felt that it should be alright since his tabolism also increased and his food intake also increased.
It didn't take a long ti before Shishio finished his al and went out after he paid the money. He patted his stomach and was about to return back, walking along with the street light again but...

"SHUT UP!!!"
Shishio frowned when he heard a muffled voice and harsh voice that tried to threaten soone. He looked around and felt weird when he saw that there weren't many people who reacted to this voice since it was quite loud, or rather, there were so who reacted, but they did nothing, ignoring this scene which made him disgusted at how people could be so indifferent and ignored what had happened in front of them.
Shishio then looked at the dark alley next to him, although it was dark and there was no light, with his enhanced vision, he could see few n in the alley dragging soone deeper clearly and he could tell from the voice and the figure, it should be a girl.
It was his first ti encountering this kind of thing in this country, in his previous life, he had seen this kind of thing a lot, but it was because he often went to places where the security wasn't good and the developnt was quite backward for his business since he could get sothing cheap there, but this country was very developed so he didn't expect that sothing like this would happen.
Shishio let out a sigh and thought that no matter how developed a country was, there had always been darkness inside...

Shishio's mood turned bad and he directly followed them inside the alley, especially when he could see a pair of desperate eyes from the gap between few people and this girl also clearly saw him and there was a light of hope in her eyes, but the owner of the eyes turned dim when she realized that he was alone.
"It's such a coincidence that we t a cute one since I want to try my new trick, haha!"
Shishio walked slowly, but he didn't erase the sound of his footsteps, but they didn't notice him since they were in the middle of having fun.
"Brother, hold her, drag her in! This bitch dared to bite !"
The man looked at the bleeding teeth mark on his hand when he covered the girl's mouth, but he let go of his guard and the girl directly bit his hand. He even beca furious at the girl and wanted to show her what despair was.
The man was very unlucky today, he had just tried to recover money from the borrower, but the borrower escaped which caused him to be reprimanded by the boss and he was also being beaten up and when he returned, he didn't expect that he would et his eldest brother from the group would enter a room together with his girlfriend. The two of them entered with a smile on their faces, and when they noticed him, the girl cast a disdain on him which made him furious.
The man was about to explode, but he knew that he couldn't do anything to his eldest brother or else, he was the one that was killed.
The man then looked at the girl in front of him. He had just been drinking alcohol with a few of his companions along the way, and he saw a beautiful girl walking alone on the street. Then without hesitation, he along with his companions directly hit her on, trying to have a conversation and if possible went to the hotel, but the girl didn't give him a face, directly ran away, and even punched so of them in the face, so he grabbed her directly with his few companions.
The man looked at the girl and saw the beauty spot underneath her right eye. His eyes beca even angrier because this bitch had a similar beauty spot to the girl that had cuckolded him, then without hesitation, he brought this girl with his companions to the alley.
"Shout! Shout out to all you want! No one is going to help you!" The man said cruelly.
The eyes of the girl beca even more desperate and fearful, but it caused the eyes of few n to beco even more excited.
*Gulp!*
"Bro... can you let first?"
"Bastard! I will be the first! You'll go after !"
The man was very excited, and was about to strip this girl, but...
*BAAAM!!!*
The sudden noise caused them to be startled and the man quickly beca furious.
"Bastard! I will let you do her later...."
His voice along with the other stuck up and trembled after they saw soone holding the bloody head of their companion and they could see that their companion's head was slamd into the wall until he passed out and so of the teeth fell out from their companion's mouth which made them realize how cruel this guy was.
Ignoring the gaze of a few n, Shishio looked at the girl and said, "Don't worry, I'm here."
