The path forward had finally revealed itself. It was far from ideal and it carried enormous risks and depended heavily on assumptions. But for the first ti since learning about Nyssara’s existence, Erend possessed sothing more than uncertainty.

He possessed a plan. Now it was his responsibility to make that plan a reality.

"How do I make an agreent with a being like her?" Erend asked.

"You must approach her directly," Veyrun replied. "Initiate communication before she does. State clearly that you wish to negotiate."

Erend remained silent and listened carefully.

"Nyssara currently views you as insignificant. Compared to her existence, you and the other Dragonborn are little more than insects. Because of that, she is unlikely to reject the opportunity. She enjoys observing weaker beings struggle. She enjoys watching them resist before she destroys them.

"Her arrogance is your greatest advantage. She believes her failure is impossible. If you present yourself correctly, she will accept your proposal because she will see no danger in doing so."

Erend slowly nodded to himself. Yeah. That could work.

He did not need Nyssara to fear him. In fact, the opposite would be better.

If she believed victory was guaranteed, she would beco careless. If she looked down on him and the other Dragonborn as insignificant creatures desperately attempting to delay the inevitable, she might willingly bind herself to conditions she normally would not accept.

The plan depended entirely on exploiting the arrogance of a being powerful enough to consu worlds.

Dangerous. But it was possible.

"I understand," Erend said.

"Good. I will continue searching the Creator’s database for additional information regarding Nyssara. Contact again if necessary."

The connection slowly faded. Nearby, Eccar, Aesa, and Sylven imdiately turned toward him.

Eccar raised an eyebrow. "Well?"

Erend released a slow breath. "I got answers."

That imdiately captured their full attention.

He began explaining everything Veyrun had revealed.

He told them Nyssara’s na and title. He explained what Outer Predators were and how they existed beyond the ordinary universe they knew. He described the worlds and dinsions she had consud throughout her existence and the terrifying ability she possessed to devour Magic energy, spiritual energy, dinsional structures, and even concepts themselves.

The more he spoke, the more serious their expressions beca.

Then he explained Veyrun’s assessnt.

"Right now," Erend said, "the four of us aren’t strong enough to defeat her."

Nobody interrupted. The statent was unpleasant but not entirely unexpected.

Finally Erend explained the proposed solution. "We’re going to negotiate with her."

For a mont only silence occurred.

Then Eccar blinked. "We’re what?"

"We’re going to make a deal with the world-eating monster?" Aesa asked.

Erend nodded. "According to the information I got from my power, Nyssara is intelligent. She isn’t a mindless beast. She can negotiate and she can be bound by agreents."

Sylven crossed his arms and stared upward toward the distant shadow. "And why would she agree?"

"Because she thinks we’re weak."

The Plant Dragonborn slowly nodded in understanding. Genuine amusent appeared on his face. "I see."

Eccar let out a short laugh. "So our strategy is to weaponize her ego."

"Exactly."

Aesa considered it for several seconds before eventually nodding. "It sounds dangerous."

"It is."

"It sounds insane."

"It is."

That earned another laugh from Eccar.

Then the four Dragonborn looked toward the enormous shadow beyond the stars.

The enemy was unimaginably powerful. The odds were terrible.

But at least now they possessed sothing they had not possessed a way to begin the fight.

Nyssara continued drifting beyond the boundaries of the world while her colossal presence stretched across the darkness between realities.

The enormous shadow that the Dragonborn saw from below was only a fraction of her true existence. Vast currents of energy flowed through her incomprehensible body while countless strands of perception extended outward into the surrounding dinsions.

Unlike ordinary beings, she did not need eyes to observe. She searched through Magic itself. Every fluctuation, disturbance, and every concentration of power beca visible to her senses.

The recent surge of energy originating from Leonora Kingdom imdiately attracted her attention.

At first it appeared insignificant compared to the countless worlds she had consud throughout her existence. Yet the more she observed it, the more familiar the energy beca. It was ancient. Deeply connected to the structure she clearly knew.

The realization ca quickly. This must be the Creation!

The fragnted being that the Void Architect had spent ages searching for. A being he had created but betrayed him.

Nyssara focused more of her perception toward the source. Vast streams of void-born energy spread across the space between dinsions and traced the lingering fluctuations left behind by the ritual.

The explosion of power generated by the assembly process had created a beacon impossible for a being of her level to ignore.

There. She found it. Beneath the world.

Hidden within that insignificant realm.

The Creation was being restored.

A ripple of amusent passed through her enormous existence.

How interesting. The lesser creatures inhabiting the world were actually succeeding.

The urge to move imdiately surfaced within her. If she descended now, she could simply consu everything. The Creation, the world, and the Dragonborn. All of it would disappear before it could beco troubleso.

Yet before she acted, another sensation drew her attention.

Four presences suddenly rose from the world below.

Nyssara paused.

Her vast perception imdiately focused upon them.

Four strong auras moved upward through the atmosphere and toward her.

These were the Dragonborn.

For a mont the imnse being simply observed them with genuine fascination erged within her consciousness.

Dragonborn had beco exceedingly rare throughout existence. Entire eras could pass without her encountering even one. Yet now four of them existed within a single world.

And they were approaching her willingly.

The thought amused her greatly. The imnse currents of power surrounding her settled. There was no need to rush. The Creation was already found and the world was not going anywhere.

Now four Dragonborn had decided to present themselves before her.

Nyssara’s attention fixed completely upon the approaching figures while a feeling resembling anticipation spread through her vast consciousness.
