Chapter 82: Chapter 82 If you can’t teach , then beat him up
“You can use a flying dagger?”
Fang Xiaocao looked at Qian Xia and asked.
“Yes!”
Qian Xia nodded, answering truthfully.
“Is your aim accurate?”
Fang Xiaocao raised an eyebrow curiously.
...
“Hit wherever I point!”
Qian Xia said in a deep voice.
“Then hit the monkey sitting in that tree over there.”
Fang Xiaocao pointed to a monkey, curiously watching them from a tree branch twenty ters away, and said.
Upon hearing this, Qian Xia was at a loss for words.
“Um…”
“This is a dart…”
After a while, Qian Xia said with a flushed face.
“Princess, a dart has a limited range and can’t reach a distance of twenty ters.”
“And even if it were a pistol, it would be very difficult to hit a target twenty ters away.”
Aquarius, standing to the side, whispered so knowledge.
“Oh~”
“I see!”
Fang Xiaocao showed an expression of sudden realization.
“How far can your flying dagger reach?”
Fang Xiaocao asked.
“Within ten ters, I suppose!”
Qian Xia said solemnly.
“OK!”
Upon hearing this, Fang Xiaocao smiled and said.
As she spoke, Fang Xiaocao’s eyes began to scour the surroundings, looking for a target to use as a mark.
“The target: the tree eight ters away!”
“No problem, right?”
Fang Xiaocao blinked and asked.
“No problem!”
Qian Xia answered confidently.
“Please start your performance!”
Fang Xiaocao snapped her fingers with a “pop” and said with a smile.
Qian Xia nodded, picking up a flying dagger from the side.
He took a deep breath, his gaze becoming sharp.
The next second, Qian Xia raised his hand and flicked his wrist.
With a “whoosh,” the flying dagger shot out from his hand.
“Aquarius, go and see if he hit the target!”
Fang Xiaocao shouted.
“Yes!”
Aquarius responded and dashed out instantly.
A minute later, Aquarius ca back with the flying dagger.
On the dagger, a titmouse was impaled.
“Princess, exactly eight ters.”
Aquarius held out the flying dagger with both hands to show Fang Xiaocao.
“It didn’t hit the trunk of the tree?”
Fang Xiaocao asked curiously, looking at the titmouse.
“The titmouse was pinned to the tree.”
Aquarius answered.
Upon hearing this, Fang Xiaocao was taken aback.
She looked at Qian Xia with curiosity.
Qian Xia’s flying dagger feat amazed Fang Xiaocao; she regarded it with both shock and awe!
Qian Xia had a calm expression, cool and collected as he t Fang Xiaocao’s curious gaze.
“Little guy, you’re in awe, aren’t you?”
Qian Xia thought to himself, feeling smug.
“Hey, not bad at all.”
Fang Xiaocao said with a smile.
Hearing Fang Xiaocao’s praise, a look of pride flashed in Qian Xia’s eyes.
“Since you’re so good with your flying dagger, I’ll reward you by having you be my teacher.”
Fang Xiaocao said cheerfully.
Qian Xia’s eyes widened in an instant.
“If you can’t teach …”
At this point, Fang Xiaocao paused, smiling as she turned to look at Ye Lingchen.
Noticing Fang Xiaocao’s gaze, a bad feeling rose in Ye Lingchen’s heart.
Ye Lingchen tugged at the corner of his mouth, offering Fang Xiaocao what he thought was a very handso smile.
“I’ll beat him up!”
Fang Xiaocao pointed at Ye Lingchen and said with a smile.
“What?”
“What does this have to do with !”
Ye Lingchen felt like crying but had no tears to shed.
Hearing this, Qian Xia felt like he had swallowed a lump of lead, his expression one of constipation.
“You don’t have any objections, do you?”
Fang Xiaocao blinked and asked with a smile.
“No… no objections.”
Qian Xia replied with a gloomy face.
“Great!”
Fang Xiaocao nodded in satisfaction.
“Here’s your Flying Dagger back, and I’m giving you a Dagger as well.”
Fang Xiaocao tossed the Flying Dagger and a Dagger to Qian Xia.
“Thank you…”
Qian Xia muttered his thanks with a sullen expression.
He retrieved the equipnt that originally belonged to him.
“These two Daggers are now yours.”
Fang Xiaocao threw two Daggers to Lin ng.
“Thank you…”
Lin ng said thanks with an expressionless face and tucked away the Daggers.
“Alright, let’s head back to camp.”
“We’ll rest for a bit, then it’s ti to move on.”
Fang Xiaocao looked up at the sky that was gradually lightening and said with a smile.
Fang Xiaocao and her party returned to the camp.
At this ti, Zhi Qi and others had already erged from their tents and were gathered around the campfire waiting for Fang Xiaocao.
“I’m back~”
Fang Xiaocao said cheerfully.
Upon hearing Fang Xiaocao’s voice, Zhi Qi and the others imdiately showed a surprised and happy expression.
“Xiaocao, you’re finally back.”
Zhi Qi exclaid.
“Hehe, I’m back.”
Fang Xiaocao said cheerfully.
“Let introduce you, this blockhead here is the young master of the Ye Family of the Capital, Ye Lingchen.”
“These two are his bodyguards, Lin ng and Qian Xia.”
Fang Xiaocao introduced Ye Lingchen and his two bodyguards with a smile to Zhi Qi and the others.
“Ah, right!”
“The ones hiding in the woods just now were them.”
Fang Xiaocao added with a smile.
“Hello.”
Ye Lingchen and his two bodyguards greeted Zhi Qi and the others.
“And over here,”
“are all my best girlfriends!”
Fang Xiaocao then pointed at Zhi Qi and the others and said to Ye Lingchen and his bodyguards.
“This is Miss Zhi Qi of the Zhi Family from Tang City.”
Fang Xiaocao introduced Zhi Qi.
“Hello.”
Zhi Qi smiled politely.
“These three are Su Wanqing, Wen Shi, and Yun Luoshu.”
Fang Xiaocao further introduced Su Wanqing and her two friends to Ye Lingchen.
“Hello~”
Su Wanqing and the others said in unison.
“From now on, Ye Lingchen and his group will be moving with us; we should all look out for each other.”
Fang Xiaocao said cheerfully.
Upon hearing Fang Xiaocao’s words, Zhi Qi showed a look of concern, opened her mouth, and seed to hesitate to speak.
Seeing this, Fang Xiaocao smiled.
She knew what Zhi Qi was worried about.
It was nothing more than Ye Lingchen and his companions’ identities.
Fearing they were impostors.
“Alright, everyone, take the ti to rest.”
“We have to continue our journey in a while.”
Fang Xiaocao clapped her hands and called out.
Upon hearing this, Su Wanqing and her group knew there was no place for them to voice their opinions here and obediently went back to their tent.
Wan Xiaozhou also took Lin ng back to another tent.
The only ones left were Ye Lingchen, Qian Xia, Fang Xiaocao, Aquarius, and Zhi Qi.
Fang Xiaocao held Zhi Qi’s hand and briefly shared Ye Lingchen and his group’s ordeal and that their identities had been verified.
“Blockhead, show your ID card.”
Fang Xiaocao called out to Ye Lingchen.
Upon hearing this, Ye Lingchen looked bewildered as he took out his ID card and handed it to Fang Xiaocao.
Fang Xiaocao took the ID card and passed it to Zhi Qi.
“Take a look, see if it’s real.”
Fang Xiaocao said with a smile.
Zhi Qi’s expression eased sowhat as she examined the ID card in her hand. Her doubts about Ye Lingchen and his group faded a little, but she still didn’t completely trust them.
Fang Xiaocao simply smiled in response and didn’t say anything.
Being sowhat vigilant was good; Fang Xiaocao herself hadn’t fully trusted Ye Lingchen and his two companions either.
In such a dangerous and deep wilderness, how could anyone easily trust a few strangers?
Returning the ID card to Ye Lingchen, Fang Xiaocao’s expression beca serious as she inford her group about the dangers they were about to face,
including the existence of the Blacklist, Capricorn’s ambush up ahead, and the fact that her own group had killed several mbers of Gemini, recounting everything to them.
