Chapter 634: Chapter 630: Destruction of Mountain Foot Villa
Just seven minutes after Fang Xiaocao and Jiang Xinyan escaped with Nannan in a hurry.
No. 10 and four other bionic robots sped their car toward the Mountain Foot Villa.
Quicker even than Hot Noodles’ warning.
But by then, the Mountain Foot Villa was already deserted.
As directed by Fang Xiaocao, the villa’s occupants had already evacuated to the mountains.
Leaving behind only an empty villa for No. 10 and the others.
“No. 10, there’s no one in the villa.”
No. 7 said to No. 10 as the red laser faded from its eyes.
No. 10 kept her cold goddess-like expression, scanning the surrounding area icily.
“Find them. They can’t have gone far.”
No. 10 said flatly.
Upon hearing No. 10’s command, the other four bionic robots quickly began executing her orders.
Forming a back-to-back circle, they activated their lasers and began scanning in all directions.
Four bionic robots scanning four directions.
Creating a dense, inescapable web; anyone or anything within the range of their sight would be exposed.
Their laser eyes had an extensive range, sweeping a radius of two kiloters.
Soon, the robot tasked with scanning the mountain detected movent in the forest.
“No. 10, we’ve got sothing.”
No. 8, responsible for mountain surveillance, shouted imdiately.
“Speak!”
No. 10 said in a detached tone.
“Dozens of people are active on the mountain. From their speed, they appear to have entered about two minutes ago.”
No. 8 reported excitedly, its built-in AI gleaming with a bloodthirsty enthusiasm.
When it ca to killing, No. 8 could feel an emotion similar to the thrill experienced by humans.
After receiving No. 8’s report, lasers shot out from No. 10’s eyes.
She swiftly scanned the entire mountain.
“Since we can’t determine if the target is among these people, kill them all.”
The dense trees and rocks of the mountain, paired with the distance, made it impossible for No. 10 to identify if Fang Xiaocao was among the dozens of individuals.
But that posed no obstacle to fulfilling her mission.
Whether Fang Xiaocao was there or not, those people had to die.
“Understood!”
Upon receiving No. 10’s orders, No. 8 roared in excitent.
Like an arrow let loose, it surged toward the mountain behind the villa.
The remaining three bionic robots exchanged glances before following suit, diving into the forest.
No. 10 did not partake in the massacre.
She carried her own pride as a superior being.
Her AI was uniquely predisposed to arrogance.
Arrogance that made her disdain targeting the weak—unless commanded to do so by her mission directives.
The capabilities of these bionic robots far exceeded Fang Xiaocao’s imagination.
As they sped through the forest, they frequently locked onto their prey.
The individuals who fled the Mountain Foot Villa were their quarry.
With the assistance of their laser eyes, it didn’t matter how well their prey hid or fled; none could escape their hunt.
Minute by minute, ti passed.
In rely an hour, the hunt in the mountain neared its conclusion.
With No. 8 crushing the skull of the last person, the utterly one-sided slaughter ended.
If not for the mountain’s vastness and the prey’s scattered movents, the battle would have ended much earlier.
No. 8 and the other four bionic robots regrouped beside No. 10: “No. 10, it’s done.”
No. 8 reported energetically.
Among all the killers, it had been the most diligent.
It also had the highest kill count.
No. 10 nodded, sweeping a glance at the now vacant villa.
“Destroy the villa.”
She intended to perfectly execute Qi Yu’s operational orders, not sparing even a single structure.
All four bionic robots promptly followed her command.
As the villa erupted into flas, No. 10 nodded in satisfaction.
“We’re heading to Honghu Hospital. No. 1’s team failed their mission; we’re going to clean up their ss.”
No. 10 returned to the car and spoke to the four robots.
The vehicle engine roared to life and gradually pulled away from the blazing villa.
Heading toward Honghu Hospital.
——
Taotie landed a crushing punch on No. 2, rescuing Mantis from the spear’s assault.
Simultaneously, he kicked No. 4 flying.
“Taotie, you’re here.”
Mantis laughed bitterly.
She had been cornered by No. 2 and No. 4, suffering severe injuries.
If Taotie had arrived a mont later, she would have died at No. 2’s hands.
“Save your strength, stop talking. I’ll take you to ergency care.”
Taotie said in a low voice.
“Trying to leave?”
“You haven’t asked my permission yet.”
Before Taotie’s words had fully settled, No. 4, heedless of self-preservation, rushed forward again.
Taotie’s eyes flared with murderous intent as he simultaneously cradled Mantis in one arm.
His other hand clenched into a massive fist aid at No. 4.
BANG—
A trendous impact sent No. 4 flying.
It smashed into the hospital’s wall, cracking it inch by inch.
“If you’re so eager to die, I’ll grant your wish.”
Taotie sneered coldly, shifting his figure in a split second, now towering over No. 4.
Taotie raised his leg and stamped on the struggling No. 4.
CRACK CRACK CRACK—
Taotie stomped forcefully on No. 4’s head, grinding it relentlessly.
The floor beneath began to fracture under Taotie’s intense pressure.
No. 4’s head, anwhile, embedded deeper into the shattered ground.
Taotie’s narrowed gaze brimd with killing intent.
And in the next instant!
With a final, savage stomp—”BOOM”—No. 4’s head was pulverized.
Cradling Mantis, Taotie exited the hospital room.
“The girl is in the operating room on the ninth floor. Upon receiving intel about the hospital breach, I instructed the surveillance team to block monitoring on the eighth and ninth floors, which is why these bionic robots weren’t able to locate her.”
Before entering the ergency room, Mantis explained to Taotie the confusion that No. 2 couldn’t unravel, even at death.
Robots remain robots; until humanity is entirely replaced, no machine can outmaneuver human wit.
Taotie watched as Mantis was wheeled into urgent care, then turned and headed to the ninth floor.
Following Mantis’s guidance, he found the girl sleeping in the operating room.
Taotie moved the girl to the dean’s office and prepared to check back at the Mountain Foot Villa.
SCREECH—
Just as Taotie stepped out of Honghu Hospital, a car pulled up in front of him.
The vehicle spun beautifully, nearly crashing into Taotie.
Fortunately, Taotie’s reflexes were sharp, allowing him to dart away at the last second.
Thus avoiding an untily death before accomplishing his mission.
Almost eting his end at the hands of so reckless driver’s car.
“There’s always soone trying to kill .”
Taotie grumbled irritably, ready to confront the driver.
CLICK—
The car door opened, revealing a long, familiar leg to Taotie.
“Wife?”
Taotie’s gaze followed the leg upward until Jiang Xinyan’s face appeared.
“Daddy!”
Nannan jumped from Jiang Xinyan’s embrace and sprinted toward Taotie.
Seeing his precious daughter alive, Taotie exhaled in relief.
He pulled Nannan into his arms.
“Daddy thought he’d never see you again.”
