A processing occurred, although apparently, it was silent.

[Camouflage initiating]

A bit of silent processing then, a sibilant sound.

[Camouflage initiated]

Axel looked back and just then, he and Chrysa exchanged puzzled looks.

[Realm plunger is now invincible]

Dan walked to the middle of the realm plunger and, looking at the ceiling, he asked no one in particular, but obviously, it seed he was talking to the voice that had initiated the camouflage, which was that of the realm plunger.

"How can I get out?" Dan asked.

The electro-sonic, angelic voice replied:

[You can't, going outside is like going to die.]

Dan grunted and went to the window again.

The voice said again: [No need to do that]

Axel squinted his eyes.

"Why?" he asked, now curious.

A disengaging sound was heard, one that resembled bits and bits of electronics falling apart. Axel couldn't see it, but he could imagine it very clearly.

Then, a large screen was at the middle of the ceiling; it ca down a bit and stuck itself to the wall. On it was the view of outside:

Massacre.

A small (not so epic or important) war of Skyrenders. Small creatures with wings and arrows and swords, fighting.

So had their wings being clipped by shots of arrows.

So were bleeding, violet-looking blood oozing from their mouths.

So were on the ground, slowly dying from their wounds.

While others (the more fit) were in the sky, dashing their skulls and brains out.

Mirrorld made a facial expression of being disgusted, and frankly, Axel couldn't bla her; this was very irritating.

Grotesque-looking creatures, with ugly faces, big eyes, tiny lips, and then a large flat nose cented on top.

Axel could only stare in disgust, thinking that a long ti ago, these were once human beings.

The only advantage they had was being immortal, which was useless. He had thought of them being uniquely immortal, but this wasn't it.

They were immortal; they could live for thousands of years if...!

If brought their disadvantage.

They were only immortal if they weren't killed.

Axel, standing in the realm plunger, looking at them fight themselves, speculated sothing. Perhaps they were immortal based on ranks, and perhaps they hadn't fully harnessed the power completely.

As the second weakest, it seed that the Skyrenders' immortality was limited, and that was to death. And with what Axel was seeing, they were easy to kill because just a shot of an arrow into one of their heads had sent it sprawling downwards.

So perhaps, only the Abyssalyts and the Ember Colossus had the real advantage of immortality. They ought to be stronger, and perhaps when shot with an arrow or thrust with a sword, it would cause no harm.

Again, it depended on their rank. By the look of it, Axel was guessing the Ember Colossus might be tough and literally immortal, but not like the monsters above their rank, which were the Abyssalyts.

And then, he thought. What if they could level up? For example, the Monsyeran Whelp-ranked monsters could level up to the Catchylm rank and then to Voidborns and then to Abyssalyts.

Well, maybe so had. He couldn't quite be sure. But sothing confird that that might be true. He could see larger Skyrenders, their wings more massive than the rest. Perhaps they leveled up?

This, to Axel, was quite interesting. He had never known they could be as complex as this.

Well, he couldn't quite conclude on his speculations as they were just:

'Speculations.'

He blinked now, so teary stuff getting out of his left eye. He looked at Chrysa. Well, she was focused, squinting her eyes as she stared at the screen, her gaze intent. Well, the last word was with everyone. Everyone was intent, looking at the screen precisely and with focus.

However, Dan's gaze was keen; he was staring like he could take them all out.

Axel found that highly ridiculous. He too was brave, but not to that extent. Moreover, the point wasn't even about being brave; the point was, the monsters were just fighting, causing not a morsel of harm to anyone. So what was Dan's problem? Going out there was just pure stupidity because he was just putting his life on the line for nothing.

The realm plunger was now invisible, aning the monsters outside couldn't see it. So they weren't bothering anyone.

And them fighting was quite a win for them, less work to do.

Axel stopped gazing at him and did so to the screen. The monsters remained just a few now. When the fight had started, they were large in number, around two hundred or so; now they were only about thirty remaining. That is, at least according to Axel's rough calculations.

One of the monsters held one by its wings now, and it was maliciously ripping it apart. Axel could hear a scream and then:

"DAMN!"

That ca as a surprise to them all. They all had the sa thoughts, which was:

'Oh, so they can speak.'

Axel almost laughed at that.

'Of course they should be. I an, they are monsters.'

Royal Cloak had explained to him that they were cursed by a spell they created. The spell had turned them to monsters, Royal Cloak had said. But co to think of it, Royal Cloak didn't say that it actually made them monsters.

They were monsters in looks and appearance, but perhaps in intellect and behavior, they weren't. So it ans that it didn't alter their voice or brains.

But apparently, it ssed with their brains a little as sotis they behaved primitive and a bit wild.

Soon, the fight had less action. They were only five now, and Axel nonetheless watched with keen interest.

He normally loved movies with epic fights, and it had been long since he watched one actually or anyone at all, and this, this was literally real. The epic battles he watched were just CGI, but this, this was real.

The deaths, blood oozing, and brutal stuff was just real. He felt no pity for them actually; they were monsters, though, and he was trying to stop them from coming to the real world, so as a superhero, it wasn't his duty to stop the fight.

Now, only one Skyrender remained. He was standing tall, his wings clipped almost completely. His face was bloody, and clearly, he was in bad shape, but to him, it was actually nothing. He seed unaffected by his state, at least he had won...

A sharp claw sliced his neck off, and the latter fell, his body slowly slumping to the ground.

They all gasped, Mirrorld's more evident.

A tenebrous figure was behind the...
