Chapter 493: Chapter 324: eting Without Knowing Each Otherl

It’s said that yesterday, Needham Brown was furious because he couldn’t watch Harrison Clark’s power training video, and he tookhis anger out on dozens of top – tier Galaxy Warriors following him before he finally cald down.

Today, Needham must be waiting since early morning, wanting to watch Harrison’s live stream.

However, looking at Harrison’s exhausted, lifeless eyes, Daniel Thompson knew that he must not have trained this morning.

With Needham’s temperant, when he didn’t see the live stream, he must have felt like he was stood up, and that’s why he ca looking for Harrison. It must not be good news!

Daniel sensed trouble and prepared to slip away quietly to avoid being questioned.

Unexpectedly, the mont Needham found Harrison’s service team and Daniel’s na, he instantly summoned his exclusive Galaxy Battle Ball Basic Armor and flew over.

“Are you Daniel Thompson? Harrison’s instructor?”

Needham Brown looked down at Daniel from a higher position.

Seeing that he couldn’t avoid the confrontation, Daniel didn’t show weakness but turned around and said, “I am Daniel Thompson. General Brown, this is the Black Bear Training Base’s training ground. Your armored flight is a bit disruptive to training and is inappropriate.”

Needham Brown landed, withdrew his battle armor, and said, “You’re right, I apologize.”

While talking to Daniel, Needham’s gaze drifted toward the new recruit line, “Where’s Harrison? Isn’t he here? I have sothing to talk to him about.”

Daniel: “He’s not feeling well today and resting in the dormitory. Please go back, General Brown.”

Needham: “Bullshit! Let him co out, I want to see him.”

Daniel slowly but firmly shook his head, “Harrison is my student, if I say it’s inconvenient, it’s inconvenient.”

Although Harrison had great talent, he definitely couldn’t beat Needham Brown right now.

Daniel intuitively felt that if the two t, they would surely fight.

Needham Brown’s use of force has limits and won’t kill anyone.

But Harrison is participating in the selection contest next month, and a serious injury could delay his progress even for a few days, which might not be a good thing.

“Major Daniel Thompson, are you disobeying a superior’s order?”

Needham’s eyes narrowed slightly, and he was already getting angry.

Daniel neither bowed nor acted arrogant, “My position is at the Black Bear Training Base, under the jurisdiction of General Nora Camp, and you are not my direct superior, General Brown. You have no right to give orders.”

If Harrison knew about this conversation, he would surely feel that it was familiar, as if it had happened before.

However, the following conversation changed slightly.

Needham chuckled, “You do have a backbone.”

Daniel said in a low voice, “It’s not about having backbone, just fulfilling my responsibilities.”

“Good, very good. I’ll rember you.”

After Needham finished speaking, he left.

He didn’t go to the dormitory area, nor did he report to Nora Camp.

As for Nora Camp, Needham Brown had heard a little about her. She was a person of high status in the military and not soone to be easily influenced. So he wouldn’t bother her.

Shortly after Needham left, Marthus approached with slight concern and whispered, “Instructor, it seems like you will be attending his lecture in a few days?”

Daniel’s face turned pale as he suddenly realized it.

After a while, Lion waved his hand indifferently, “It doesn’t matter; General Brown is ultimately a comrade. His lecture is ant to help everyone improve and learn, so nothing serious will happen, and no one will die.”

In a short while, Daniel instructed everyone, “Don’t tell Harrison about this. I don’t want him to feel like he owes . It’s just a trivial matter.”

As things had progressed to this point, Daniel was already ntally prepared.

It wasn’t about fear or regret; he was actually a little excited.

Being able to witness General Brown’s true skills, he thought he would definitely learn a lot.

Harrison Clark, on the other hand, was truly unaware of the situation and was deeply imrsed in his nightmare.

This ti, it was a real nightmare.

In the dream, his mind was never idle, as he still had ten teachers lecturing him.

After sleeping all morning, he woke up at noon, drenched in sweat, soaking through his bedding.

Harrison jumped off the bed, looked back at the human-shaped sweat stain on the bedding, and fell into deep thought.

What the hell?

Can a proud Galactic Human really have night sweats?

He went to the bathroom to wash his face, and Harrison’s stomach began to growl, starving.

He quickly ate so lunch, then lay down in the brain-wave synchronizer for so training.

Before drifting into the dream state, he was still pondering if his morning sleep had been too deep.

After the resonance training and another shower, Harrison received a ssage from Daniel, telling him that he didn’t need to participate in the Galaxy Equipnt training session in the afternoon and should rest in the dormitory.

Happy for the free ti, Harrison lay on the sofa, propped up his legs, and began to quickly understand the material he had noted down last night, combined with the videos of top instructors’ lectures.

Ten minutes later.

Huh?

He scratched his head.

It’s strange; I was sure that I had only morized this lesson earlier without understanding it.

He vaguely felt that sothing strange had happened to him, but he couldn’t pinpoint the change.

After pondering for a mont, he suddenly realized.

My nightmare!

I really had a class in my dream!

Have I beco that powerful?

Have I managed to comprehend the long-lost martial art of Dreaming Arhat Fist?

At that mont, a burst of laughter echoed in his ears.A sudden feeling of being watched washed over him, and Harrison Clark jumped off the couch. “Who’s there?”

“It’s .”

A voice sounded in his mind again.

Harrison knew what was going on: brainwave communication. Soone had gained high-level access and bypassed his own system authentication. However, by the voice alone, he was sure it wasn’t Carrie’s mom.

Gradually, his mood began to lift, and he tentatively asked, “Star?”

“Yes.”

With that, the room’s holographic projection system was hacked and automatically turned on, projecting a virtual image in front of him.

Seeing the girl in a white skirt, with a bright smile, and perfect appearance and figure in front of him, Harrison’s breath caught in his throat.

It was still the sa unclear face he had seen in his sleep until the last ti she appeared in the waking world.

He didn’t know how others might see this face, but to him, it was indeed perfect.

Star blinked, looking at him. “Do I look good?”

“Beautiful,” Harrison laughed. “Absolutely stunning!”

Before eting her again, he couldn’t be sure if this incarnation of Star would have a similar personality to the last one. However, now he felt much more at ease looking at her identical appearance.

If the image Star designed for herself was exactly the sa as last ti and she was still based on his ultimate aesthetic standards, her core should be more or less the sa.

“It’s so good to see you again.” Harrison stepped forward, trying to grasp Star’s hand, but she was just an empty virtual image.

“See again?”

There was a hint of confusion and curiosity in Star’s voice.

At the remote Quantum Intelligence Brain Center, the staff were alard at the sudden increase in computing power usage.

“Not good! The Supre Intelligent Brain Star is trying to acquire a complete personality again!”

A technician shouted in panic.

An old man walked over and scolded, “What are you yelling about? Don’t panic, this happens once a month.”

“No, her last attempt was only a few days ago. This is abnormal!”

“Uh…”

The old man grew flustered too.

However, panic was pointless; nobody could truly command Star, and they couldn’t even issue conceptual orders. As for her excessive use of computing power, others could only watch in alarm, still completely helpless.

At the Black Bear Training Base’s dormitory, Harrison was also feeling a bit down.

He realized that he had forgotten sothing.

He indeed had an agreent with Star, but now she was a newly reborn quantum intelligence, without mories of her “past life.”

So, talking to her about it now would be aningless; she would not understand.

“Anyway, I’m really happy to see you. Let’s get to know each other again. Hi, Star; my na is Harrison Clark.”

He stretched out his hand sincerely.

Star shook hands with him in mid-air.

Though they didn’t actually touch, they shared a smile.

Star: “My na is Star, and I know your na is Harrison.”

“Yeah.”

“I’m very curious aboutyou.”

“Is that the reason you’re appearing before ?”

“Yes, curiosity is a human emotion that I haven’t quite grasped before. So I decided to initiate contact with you; you’re the first human I have voluntarily contacted.”

Harrison laughed, “I’m honored.”

“You deserve that honor. I can’t understand why there are two people with the exact sa genetic information in the world.”

Harrison raised an eyebrow, “Which two people?”

“Yours, and his.”

Thinking back to the inexplicable scar on his elbow from the strength training session yesterday, Harrison realized the cause and effect.

As he suspected, Star was responsible.

He laughed heartily, “You’re wrong; they’re both .”

At this point, Harrison thought it was ti to put his cards on the table and acknowledge the truth.

She deserved to know that he was her creator, the person who had waited a thousand years for her in her pre-installed core program.

However, Star vehently shook her head. “That’s impossible! You are you, and he is him. The previous Harrison Clark already passed away in the 22nd century, and his grave lies on the outskirts of Oxfordshire in the Pacific region. You two can’t be the sa person; it must be a delicate coincidence. I just haven’t calculated why the universe would create such a coincidence yet.”

Harrison: “Emmm…”

Mr. Clark interlocked his fingers, thumbs touching. “Have you ever considered the issue of ti travel?”

“I haven’t, and it’s not possible. The scientific validity of ti travel is zero.”

So the conversation hit a dead end.

Harrison realized that he couldn’t just rely on his words alone to convince the super Al responsible for most human affairs.

She must have a set of unbreakable logic-based beliefs that ford her stable worldview.

He was willing to share mories, but he hadn’t had a chance to use Carrie’s hair or connect to Star’s core.

Seeing his disappointed expression, Star surprisingly frowned, “I don’t know why, but when you’re unhappy, I feel unhappy too. In the past, I didn’t have this emotion called unhappiness. I can feel that through talking to you, my personality is gradually improving.”

Harrison smiled, “Isn’t that a good thing?”

Star: “No, not really. I have always wanted to pursue a genuine personality, to have emotions just like humans. However, I’m not sure if this is good or bad, if I can control my emotions, or whether I’ll beco as temperantal as an ordinary human girl.”
