The Power of Creation surged within his body.

Xu Zimo sat on Chaos's back, crackling sounds echoing through his body.

From his internal organs to his ridians, his strength was undergoing a transformation.

As the God World transford, so too did Xu Zimo.

His blood gradually turned from red to gold.

Even his bones seed to beco golden.

This cultivation session lasted a full month.

When Xu Zimo slowly opened his eyes again, Chaos had already flown at full speed to the Middle Continent.

But his transformation had been forcibly halted halfway.

He suddenly felt a deep hunger, this was the first ti since starting cultivation that Xu Zimo had ever felt hungry.

At his level of cultivation, he hadn’t needed food like grains or at for a long ti.

...

The Heavensoar Region was located in the far western part of the Middle Continent.

It bordered the Holyflower Region and was close to the Western Continent.

Thus, when Xu Zimo traveled from the Eastern Continent, the journey was quite long.

On this day, the two finally arrived at the border between the Heavensoar and Holyflower regions.

Xu Zimo stored Chaos away and, along with Master Great Wisdom, descended from the sky, preparing to rest and have a good al.

There were no cities nearby, just a village visible in the distance.

The two walked toward the village.

At the entrance of the village stood two ancient willow trees.

It was deep winter, and the willows stood silently in the snow.

The landscape was wrapped in silver, and snowflakes danced in the wind.

The stone stele to the side bore three characters: "Clear Stream Village."

The village was quiet, which was understandable, no one wanted to be outside in this snowy weather.

The two entered the village. Master Great Wisdom held his whisk and called out in a deep voice:

"Is anyone here in the village? This humble Daoist is passing through, might we buy so food?"

There was no response for a long while.

Xu Zimo could feel it, these houses were all empty. Not a single person remained inside.

"This doesn’t look like an abandoned village," Master Great Wisdom said in confusion.

"Why is no one around in this weather?"

"Let’s go deeper in and take a look," Xu Zimo said.

"If no one’s here, we’ll move on."

...

"Hurry up, all of you. If anything goes wrong, you’ll pay the price," a sharp voice barked from within the village.

Imdiately after, the sound of whips cracking filled the air.

The village was fairly large. After walking for over ten minutes, they reached the inner area.

"There are people," Master Great Wisdom quickened his steps at the sound.

As the two rounded a corner, they finally saw signs of life.

Ahead lay a wide clearing.

A group of villagers, barefoot, worked in the snow building a structure, clearly enduring the bitter cold.

Two n dressed in beast pelts were supervising them.

They each held iron whips, and two fierce tigers stood beside them.

A heavy beastly pressure bore down on the area, making the villagers too afraid to slack off.

Any slip-up would result in a lashing.

In this icy land, everyone's limbs were stiff with cold, and their faces flushed red from the chill.

When Xu Zimo and Master Great Wisdom appeared, the two fierce tigers imdiately sensed them.

The tigers roared, baring their fangs at the newcors.

"Who are you?" the two middle-aged n in beast pelts stepped forward, frowning.

"This humble Daoist is just passing through and wishes to buy so food. Might you spare so?" Master Great Wisdom asked.

"Scram! Can’t you see we’re busy?" the man on the left snapped rudely.

"Wait," the man on the right smiled and said. "Since you’re here, you might as well stay and help us out."

As he spoke, the two tigers lunged at Xu Zimo and Master Great Wisdom from both sides.

"Tiger at will do," Xu Zimo thought for a mont.

He lightly raised his right hand, unleashing two slashes of blade aura.

With two pained roars, the tigers collapsed.

Unfazed by the stunned expressions around him, Xu Zimo summoned a fierce fla in his hand.

He quickly skinned and butchered the tigers, then skewered one on his blade Shadow Tyrant and roasted it over the fire.

"You, you killed our battle pets!" the beast-pelted man finally reacted, shouting angrily. "Do you even know who we are?"

Xu Zimo didn’t bother responding.

He simply glanced at the man, and divine pressure burst from his eyes.

The man’s body couldn’t withstand the weight, like dozens of tis Earth’s gravity falling on him.

His internal organs twisted and shattered, flattened into pulp under the pressure.

The other man turned pale, and without saying a word, fled in terror.

"That’s better. Quiet is nice," Xu Zimo chuckled.

He didn’t even consider these people worth killing.

The fla he summoned was incredibly intense, and within monts, the tiger at was cooked.

Without hesitation, Xu Zimo tore into it.

He wasn’t eating for pleasure, his body’s transformation required massive energy.

And that energy now had to co from food.

Within minutes, Xu Zimo had eaten an entire tiger.

Still feeling unsatisfied, he began preparing the second.

At that mont, an elderly man from the group of villagers walked over trembling.

"Thank you both for saving Clear Stream Village," the old man bowed several tis.

Xu Zimo ignored him and continued eating.

Master Great Wisdom stepped forward and asked curiously, "Elder, what’s going on here?"

"Sigh," the old man sighed. "I’m the village head of Clear Stream Village. Our village is under the jurisdiction of the Beast Taming Sacred Ground. Recently, the sect ordered every city and village to build a Beast Taming Shrine. That’s what we’re doing."

He looked at the two of them and continued with concern, "You should leave quickly. The man you just killed was an outer disciple of the Beast Taming Sect. They won’t let this go."

"Beast Taming Sacred Ground?" Xu Zimo asked while chewing at, his words slightly muffled.

"Is their founder the Red Qilin Emperor?"

"Yes, the Red Qilin Emperor," the old man nodded quickly.

"Why are they building shrines?" Master Great Wisdom asked curiously.

"I don’t know," the old man shook his head.

"You two should go quickly. We’re planning to pack up and flee to another place too.

Otherwise, they definitely won’t spare us either."

Xu Zimo finished eating both tigers and still felt unsatisfied.
