"So that’s how it is," Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes and said, "But aren’t you afraid the Mo Imperial Clan will investigate if you kill ?"

"Us, kill you?" Mo Feihai shook his head. "You’re mistaken. It was the pirates who killed you. That has nothing to do with us. Who’s going to know if there’s no evidence?"

"No wonder you lured to such a remote place," Xu Zimo looked around at the empty surroundings and chuckled.

"Enough talking. At least you’ll die with so clarity now," Mo Feihai’s Empyrean ridian aura surged, and he struck at Xu Zimo with his palm.

"How do you know I didn’t do all this on purpose?" Xu Zimo smiled lightly.

With a wave of his hand, Paimon’s figure appeared above, and a vast demonic aura engulfed the sea around them.

"Kill them all. It’ll make a decent explanation to the Mo Imperial Clan," Xu Zimo stood up and said coldly.

Sensing Paimon’s overwhelming presence, Mo Feihai’s face changed drastically, and the other Empyrean ridian Realm cultivators beca visibly alert.

"You, how...?"

"Surprised?" Xu Zimo shook his head. "You can die confused, I’m not in the mood to explain."

As his words fell, the demonic energy from above surged downward.

The dark aura enveloped everyone present, including the pirates on the other ship.

No matter how much they resisted, it was all useless.

So-called Empyrean ridian Realm cultivators were re ants before Paimon.

The sea churned. Clouds that had long gathered above finally released rain.

"Xu Zimo, if you kill , the Mo Imperial Clan won’t let you go!" Mo Feihai roared. "No matter what you say, Mo Canghai is still my older brother. It’s not your place to lecture ."

"You think I fear the Mo Imperial Clan?" Xu Zimo shook his head. "Besides, you tried to kill first. I simply turned the tables."

Their voices shifted from rage to wails, then finally silence.

When the black mist faded, only a few corpses remained on the brown ship deck.

The ship turned back toward the island, white sails whipping in the stormy wind.

Thunder roared in the gloomy sky. The rain grew heavier. The once-calm sea now rolled with waves.

Standing at the bow of the ship, Xu Zimo faced the storm, his hair tossed by the wind.

Behind him lay a dozen corpses, so from the Mo Imperial Clan, so pirates.

Xu Zimo had searched Mo Feihai’s storage ring but didn’t find the item he was looking for.

He could only return and search again.

When the ship, tossed by wind and rain, finally docked at the island, the patrolling disciples were stunned by the scene aboard.

Xu Zimo didn’t hide anything. He told the full truth of what had happened.

He didn’t bother worrying about how the disciples would report to Mo Canghai.

Back on the island, the first thing Xu Zimo did was head to Mo Canghai’s room.

After a thorough search, practically tearing the place apart, he finally found a hidden compartnt behind a bookshelf.

Breaking it open by force, he discovered only two things inside:

A storage ring, and a damaged formation disk.

The storage ring contained the massive wealth Mo Feihai had accumulated over the years by colluding with pirates.

But the broken formation disk was what Xu Zimo truly wanted.

“The Hexa-Genesis Immortal Formation Disk.”

To be precise, there were eight pieces of this disk, held by the seven elders of the Mo Imperial Clan and Mo Canghai.

When all eight pieces are combined, they form the complete Hexa-Genesis Immortal Formation.

This was a creation left behind by the Formation Emperor, the very first disk he forged after creating the formation.

To the current Mo Imperial Clan, this disk was largely useless.

They could already deploy the Hexa-Genesis Immortal Formation with ease.

But for Xu Zimo, it was priceless.

After storing the disk away, Xu Zimo left Mo Feihai’s room.

Seven days later, the teleportation array was ready.

Without any further delay, Xu Zimo entered the formation and headed for the Middle Continent.

Who would clean up the ss here? That was now the Mo Imperial Clan’s problem.

Another long, dull spatial journey began. After drifting endlessly, Xu Zimo finally arrived at the Middle Continent.

Surrounded by the Endless Sky Sea, this continent sat at the center of the four major continents and was the most prosperous and powerful of them all.

Of course, Xu Zimo didn’t plan to stay long this ti. After destroying the Heaven-Severing Sacred Ground, he would leave.

He still had other matters to deal with.

The boundless Middle Continent had always been the dream destination for cultivators from the outer continents.

Every ambitious warrior hoped to one day make a na for themselves here.

The biggest landmass, the most sects, the strongest cultivators.

That’s probably the simplest way to describe the Middle Continent.

Xu Zimo was teleported into a city called Dark Corner Capital.

A city where humanity was lost, power was supre, and darkness ruled.

In this city, you could trample all rules, as long as you were strong enough.

Murder, looting, all manner of cris were daily occurrences.

Anyone who lived here was either extrely evil or extrely dangerous.

The Mo Imperial Clan owned a small business here, their teleportation array was set up in this very city.

In fact, many sects from the four outer continents chose to place their teleportation exits here.

That’s because other cities in the Middle Continent had rulers and established order.

To build a teleportation array in those places required permission and ca at a steep cost.

But in Dark Corner Capital, none of that was necessary.

If you had the strength, no one could stop you from doing anything.

Put simply, there were no laws here. No rules. Power made the rules.

The Mo Imperial Clan, despite being an imperial lineage, didn’t have a huge reputation in the Middle Continent, but few dared to ss with them either.

After stepping out of the teleportation array, Xu Zimo was received by the local Mo Imperial Clan representative.

He asked around and learned that the Middle Continent was divided into four massive regions.

Dark Corner Capital was in the Holyflower Region, and conveniently, so was the Heaven-Severing Sacred Ground, so Xu Zimo wouldn’t have to travel far.

The Mo Imperial Clan’s business here was a small tea house.

Xu Zimo didn’t stay long. After leaving the tea house, he took a stroll around Dark Corner Capital.

“Chaotic.”

That was Xu Zimo’s first impression.

Open street killings, all kinds of filthy, immoral behavior, these were everyday occurrences.

And if that was what was visible on the surface, one could only imagine what went on in the shadows.

As Xu Zimo walked near a tavern, a group of well-dressed young n and won passed by.

There were seven in total, five n and two won. They looked about the sa age as Xu Zimo.

Their faces still had a hint of youthfulness, clearly not natives of Dark Corner Capital.
